Moscow, 13 May 2008 (Interfax):
Metropolitan Hilarion warned Russian women that seeking a “quick fix” abroad in their search for personal happiness would be disastrous. “It is always true that one should not believe all the promises of Paradise found in letters sent by Australian suitors”, Vladyki Hilarion said in an interview in the newspaper Komosolskaya Pravda. Therefore, he continued, “it is hardly worthwhile to pack your bags and say farewell to Russia. Rather, you should come first on an ordinary tourist visa and look at everything attentively, study your suitor carefully, and see how people interact with one another”, he added.
