Thanks for this notation. The music continues to be helpful. You are certainly taking a lot of heat for your documentation on this, a kind of martyrdom, so to speak. Thank you very, very much for all your posts. Since your analysis of it is professional, not hagarific, it keeps seeming right on… Lord Have Mercy on Father Daniil’s soul.

Helen…
I quite agree. There is a time for prayer and there is a time for clear thinking… and the two do not mix. Hagiography is not going to help us find Fr Daniil’s killer. The investigation is in the capable hands of the MVD, and General Nurgaliev is going do everything possible to find the perp. It’s going to be difficult since all the indicators point to a professional “sterile” job. It smells like the CIA or one of its running-dog-lackey EU pals (the Georgians, Balts, and Galicians aren’t competent enough to pull this off)… it’s too much of a pro hit to have been Muslims or neo-pagans.
To all the “Orthodox” who are screaming for Muslim blood: NUTS TO YOU. I speak as a gal who is pro-Serb to the bone and proudly gives the three-finger salute. Tatars aren’t Albanians and anyone who can’t grasp that one is a bloody fool.
Helen… they can say what they will. They all come to my site, don’t they? Remember… the louder they scream, the less they actually produce!
SO… THERE!
Smile, Helen… the lord loves HAPPY warriors!
Cheers,
your friendly neighbourhood Little Red Hen,

This deed is horrible, unspeakable. This video is most saddening. What is the music playing, which hymns?

It is old Znammenago rospeva (Znamenny Chant) in modern harmonisation… “Their Memory Shall be Eternal” (V Pamyat Vechnuyu).
