According to the Kremlin property manager, the Russian government will do all that it must to take ownership of an Orthodox church building in Nice (France), but it will be “a very complicated and lengthy process”, although a court in Nice on 20 January declared the Russian state the sole legitimate owner of the building. “We will do everything we need to do to achieve this, to regain the possession of this church. However, it is a very complicated and lengthy process; we must be ready for this. It’s all quite complicated, rather lengthy, the property dispute involves very complicated legal questions, especially as different countries are involved”, Vladimir Kozhin told Ekho Moskvy radio. It is only a first-instance court that ordered the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of St Nicholas to be handed over to the government of the Russian Federation. The court ruled on Wednesday that the Russian state is the sole lawful owner of the building, the land around it, and the property on the cathedral’s premises.

N.B.: I also checked with Russian friends to see if the report of the radio broadcast was factual, some slight changes were made as a result.

It’s absolute hooey and BS… but it shows how desperate the Paris gang is getting. The church is nothing but a source of income for them… Christ? Who’s He? Reflect well on the fact that SVS supports them to the hilt. You know where NOT to send your money now, don’t you?
Also read this:
It’s pure American crapola and fantasy… but realise that SVS supports this nonsense as well… they routinely stick knives in the back of our Russian co-religionists (like Alvian Smirensky calling Archdeacon Andrei Kuraev “the head of the Orthodox skinheads”… what’s the diff between SVS and General Theological and Nashotah House? None that I can see!). Nice bunch, huh?
