Brazil Offers Asylum to Iranian Woman Sentenced To Death for Adultery by Sharia Court

BRIC leaders in 2008, Manmohan Singh (1932- ), Dmitri Medvedev (1965- ), Hu Jintao (1942- ), and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (1945- )… none of them support the American bullying of Iran… that’s why Lula can do this… he’s an honest broker… the Americans are not.

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva appealed to the Iranian government to allow him to offer asylum to an Iranian woman sentenced to death for adultery. Sr da Silva appealed directly to his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to allow this woman to take refuge in Brazil. “If my friendship with the president of Iran is worth anything, and if she is an embarrassment in Iran, we are ready to accept her amongst us and give her a home”, Sr da Silva said. The verdict, which, according to Islamic law, sentenced the woman to death by stoning, caused outrage throughout the world, the BBC reported.

Editor’s Note:

LOVE that Lula! He’s a straightforward stand-up guy with no pretence or BS about him. He’ll probably succeed in freeing the woman, for he’s not threatening or lecturing the Iranians. Both the hard left and the hard right hate him… so he must be doing something RIGHT. He only had formal schooling up to the fourth grade and didn’t learn to read until he was ten. Compare him to Caribou Barbie… what a difference! One is an actual working guy who knows the score, who studied in the “school of hard knocks”… the other is a phoney who learned how to read a script and look good in photo ops. I know which one that I trust! What about you?

So-called “Patriarchate of Kiev” Gradually Being Subsumed by Uniates in Galicia

The Uniates are the advance guard of the papists… they are virulent and fanatical papal supremacists. Why have relations with such? I say, do attend to who sucks up to them… and act accordingly.

______________________________

In Galicia, supporters of the so-called “Patriarchate of Kiev” and Uniates made original “ecumenical” progress. Last Thursday, in Kolomye in Ivano-Frankovsk oblast, in the local oncology clinic, they began joint construction of a new chapel of St Panteleimon on the 1,022th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia, according to a spokesman of the local Uniate diocese. Uniate Bishop Nikolai Simkaylo of their Diocese of Kolomye-Chernovtsy and “Bishop” Ivan Boychuk of the Diocese of Kolomye-Kosov of the so-called “Patriarchate of Kiev” blessed the undertaking. “Since the founding of our diocese, we’ve been very friendly with the Uniate Diocese of Kolomye. We have a common goal… building a united church in the Ukraine. Through joint activities, we join our faithful in a single Christian family”, Boychuk said according to his press office. On behalf of his colleagues, he called the united clergy of the two dioceses to work together, using ”common worship and other activities to unite us and cement the unity between our peoples”. Nonetheless, we know that the canons of the Church ban common worship with Uniates. Besides that, in the 1990s, the bloodiest seizures of Orthodox churches by Uniates took place in Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast. For instance, Fr Mikhail Shuvar, was beaten to the floor by a Uniate mob with iron bars during the assault on the Cathedral in Ivano-Frankovsk, after which Fr Mikhail was disabled {Fr Mikhail died from the after-effects of his injuries in October 2009. Patriarch Kirill noted his passing: editor}. The Orthodox Church condemns the Unia as a means of achieving unity with the Catholics, because it rejects the tenets of Orthodoxy and it’s a hoax upon believers, since the Uniates retain Orthodox rituals. Uniatism emerged in 1596 because of the betrayal of Orthodoxy by some bishops in Western Russia {under Polish occupation at the time: editor}, headed by Metropolitan Mikhail Ragoza; they recognised the authority of the Pope of Rome, yet, they kept Orthodox ritual usages.

Editor’s Note:

Let’s keep it focused and simple. NO Recognised and Legitimate Local Church allows the faithful ANY contact with Uniates (except for unavoidable contacts at work or in society). The strongest Church in this matter, by the way, is the Local Church of Greece. This is why the advocacy of Vassa Larina and Andrei Psaryov of the ideas of Taft the Jesuit Imposter (and others of his ilk… to snidely imply that anti-Uniates are “fearful” is ludicrous) is obscene and unchurchly. That’s why Jonas Paffhausen’s participation in the so-called Lumen Gentium conference is so disgusting and vile. They’re standing against the united opinion and practise of the entire Orthodox pleroma. Get your mind right! All you’re doing is giving ammunition to the GOCs and Pashkovsky. You can follow His Holiness Patriarch Kirill and honour the podvig of Fr Mikhail Shvar, or you can follow Vassa Larina, Andrei Psaryov, and Jonas Paffhausen, and kiss the naked bum of the Uniates. It’s quite that simple. I know whom I follow, what about you?

Over the years, Dima Bilan, the duo Smash, Anastasia Stotsky, Irina Dubtsova, Polina Gagarina, Georgian actress and singer Sofiko, and Intars Busulis, who represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, were introduced at the “New Wave” contest.

Dollar Fell Against the Euro on Fears of a “Quasi-Recession” in USA

The dollar fell on Monday, declining in value against the euro amidst concerns of a slowing US economy and statements by the former head of the Federal Reserve of a “quasi-recession” in the world’s largest economy, according to trading data. At 12.02 MSK (09.02 UTC 04.02 EDT 01.02 PDT), the dollar’s value against the euro fell, to 1.3086 dollars per euro against 1.3033 dollars per euro on Friday. Nevertheless, the dollar strengthened against the yen to 86.72 yen to the dollar against 86.40 yen to the dollar on Friday. The total value of the dollar compared to a basket of six currencies of major US trading partners declined by 0.23 percent, up 81.35 points. Mike Jones, Bloomberg currency strategist at Bank of New Zealand Ltd, told us, “The US economy is clearly showing signs of slowing down. We see that the yield on state bonds is reduced, leading to a decline in the dollar”.

Last Friday, the cooling in the US economy was obvious. According to preliminary data, the GDP for the second quarter increased by only 2.4 percent, compared to a 3.7 percent rise in the first quarter of this year. However, analysts had predicted a growth rate of 2.5 percent. The words of former head of the Federal Reserve System Alan Greenspan, in addition to official statistics, put pressure on the dollar, when he said, “Now, we see a pause in the recovery, which was only a moderate recovery, but this pause in the recovery looks more like a quasi-recession”. Speaking about the possibility of a second wave of the crisis, the former Fed Chairman thought that such was possible, if there was a decline in housing prices. “If prices remain stable, then, I think we can avoid the worst”, Mr Greenspan said. Another proof of “cooling” in the world’s largest economy may be a report of the American Institute of Supply Management (Institute for Supply Management, ISM), which will be published on Monday. Analysts polled by Bloomberg, predicted that the index of business activity in the US manufacturing industry sector (ISM Manufacturing) in July this year would drop to its lowest level in eight months, 54 percent versus 56.2 percent in June. If the index is higher than 50 percent, there is growth in business activity in the manufacturing sector, if it’s below that figure, it’s in decline. Negative trends in the US economy and the rapid growth of China’s economy may eventually lead to the dollar losing its status as an international reserve currency, according to Niall Ferguson, a British researcher who specialises in financial and economic history and a professor at Harvard University, a leading voice at Bloomberg. This could happen in five years, but investors are in fact already moving towards a gold standard, Mr Ferguson suggests.
