The Tea Party and the GOP Scream About a Mosque… They Say NOTHING About St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Destroyed on 9/11

There is NO mosque being built on this site… but there’s an Orthodox parish on the WTC territory that needs your help (see the link below)…

Let’s keep this simple and focused. There’s been much screaming by the Tea Party and other haters about a notional mosque in Lower Manhattan, supposedly at Ground Zero. These stalwarts have said NOTHING about St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which was destroyed in the 9/11 attack.

Let that sink in.

THEY HAVE SAID NOTHING.

NOTHING…

They lie to you about the location of a mosque in Lower Manhattan to whip up nativist bigotry and chauvinism… but they say NOTHING about a little Orthodox Christian church that was destroyed in the collapse of the Twin Towers. Have they offered to help the Greek Archdiocese? They haven’t. These jerks don’t even mention this poor little parish and its troubles with the bureaucracy. It’s more important to them to spread tales of an imaginary mosque at Ground Zero than it is to help an actual and struggling Orthodox Christian parish rebuild its home. Reflect on that. That’s real Christianity, isn’t it (yes, I’m being sarcastic… they deserve it)?

This should prove, even for the slow learners, that the Tea Party is nothing but a bunch of SA Storm Troopers who wrap themselves in the red, white, and blue. That’s disgusting. That’s obscene. It’s about time that folks started going toe to toe with these hypocritical and posturing bastards. Don’t be nice! They’re not! Give ‘em back what they’re dealing out! Like all bullies, they’ll run to their mum and cry, “They’re not playing nice”.

Get your mind right. Don’t give these SOBs any quarter. They’re not playing by the rules… it’s time to stand up to such lying poseurs and give ‘em “what for”… God will bless you for it!

I find it reprehensible that loudmouthed sorts such as Terry Mattingly, Rod Dreher, and Freddie Matthewes-Green aren’t taking the Tea Party to account. I would look at them closely… if you find they support any of the Tea Party’s platform… I would point up they’re not in step with the Church. Do act accordingly…

One poll said that 1 in 5 Americans (18 percent) thought that Mr Obama is a Muslim, and another said that the proportion is 1 in 4 (24 percent). Are there that many doofuses in America? Reflect on this… these Einsteins probably all graduated from high school, and many of them attended college.

THIS is why the Tea Party gets away with its lies and obfuscations. The level of sheer doltishness in the American population is beyond words. Those who use Sarah Palin as a “talking head” aren’t stupid. You see, “sincerity” trumps character, and “niceness” trumps the good. This does not speak well of us as a people. It’s sobering… it’s ugly, isn’t it?

This is absolutely stunning in its ignorance. I’m aghast at it. It means that people aren’t listening to what’s actually going on. Mr Obama is NOT a Muslim. Where are these people getting their news? Here’s the scary part… if you asked Russians what religion BO was, they’d probably say, “Some sort of Protestant, no?” Russian people are well aware that Protestantism is the “default” mode in the USA, with Catholicism as a close second. This is without justification or cause. Firstly, I don’t think that the majority of voters agree with the Tea Party. Secondly, why should one agree with nativist bigots and hatemongers? Remember Breitbart and his phony little scam!

It’s time to stand up and fight back! The mosque isn’t going up on Ground Zero. I don’t believe that the majority of good folk out there support the Tea Party’s ignorance and hate. However, politicians are scrambling to kiss the naked bum of the haters. That’s NOT how you deal with such scummers. You oppose them with everything you’ve got! You give ‘em both barrels. Remember, in ’48 the press wrote off Harry Truman… he came back to win because he was gritty and feisty. He gave as good as he got, and then some.

You tell the haters. “I won’t kick my fellow Americans in the guts because of their religion. I won’t demonise an entire people. I won’t lie brazenly for the sake of power and filthy lucre. GET FUCKED”.

That’s how you deal with haters. It’s not only effective, you feel 100 percent better afterwards. It is, after all, the right thing to do before God and man… what more can you ask for?
