This is typical Tea Party propaganda on the “Mosque controversy”… earth to all racists… there was a Muslim “prayer room” in the WTC… Muslims were killed by the terrorists… tenants, visitors, and emergency responders. Therefore, Islam has a vested right to be at Ground Zero… anyone who says otherwise is an enemy of true freedom and you must treat them accordingly.
This requires NO commentary. Islam and Muslims were an intimate part of the everyday life at the WTC… therefore, we have to see any “protests” against a “Ground Zero Mosque” as the naked and undisguised racism that they are. Reflect well that Beck, Palin, Robertson, Miller, Murdoch, the Kochs, Limbaugh, Rand Paul et al all stand mute concerning the more feral aspects of this movement. Ergo, they APPROVE it by their silence.
You know what to do… don’t vote for anyone endorsed by the racist haters. There are other good reasons not to vote for them, but this is good enough to reject them, and everything they stand for, too.
America is better than that… show it! Vote against any movement that calls for ANY limit on American Muslims… if the bastards succeed in that, YOU’RE next.

Nigerian-born footballer Chidi Odiah (1983- ), wingback for FC TsSKA Moscow… that’s the way of it in Russian footy… the best go forward, and it doesn’t matter who they are or where they come from. TsSKA Moscow has three Africans (including Odiah), and other players (one each) hail from Brazil, Chile, Lithuania, Bosnia, Serbia, Czechia, and Japan, in addition to the nine Russians on the squad. This is the norm in Russian footy. There’s no anti-Muslim or racist prejudice allowed on the pitch! That’s as it should be…
Vera Zvonareva (1984- ), Honoured Master of Sport of Russia, First Racquet of Russia, Olympic Bronze medallist in women’s singles (2008), Holder of the Order of Merit (2nd Class)
Vera Zvonareva advanced to the finals of the US Open, winning on Friday over the first racquet of the tournament, Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark. The match ended 6:4 and 6:3 in favour of Zvonareva, after lasting 1 hour 25 minutes, enabling Zvonareva to win in decisively in the second set over her rival. Previously, the matchups between Zvonareva and the Polish-born Danish citizen were split equally at 2-2. Zvonareva, seeded seventh at the US Open 2010, advanced to the finals for the first time in her career. Her opponent will be the winner of the match between Kim Clijsters (Belgium, second seed) and Venus Williams (USA, third seed). This is the second time that Zvonareva played in Grand Slam finals. In 2010, she reached the finals at Wimbledon, but lost the battle for the trophy to American Serena Williams.
