His Holiness is the leader of the most numerous Orthodox Local Church based in the most powerful Orthodox state in the world. This makes him the de facto head of world Orthodoxy… and all the ranting by Bart’s party can’t change that (we Russians don’t need empty titles… rotten borough hierarchs like Bart can have those). This has been so since the fall of the City in 1453. Russia leads world Orthodoxy, and that’s that. The papists are schmoozing up to Bart, but they know that without us Russians, their new Unia shall fail… and we won’t ever kiss the pope’s bum, for there’s no chance that the hated Boy Wonder will succeed KMG (his latest rant that the pope and patriarch shall meet was sheer madcap comedy… but AsiaNews and Zenit ate it up… silly wabbits!).
Look at the above snaps… His Nibs is a forward-looking and up-to-date man, in the best senses of those terms. Our Church is safe with such a man at its helm. May God preserve him for many years!
