If anybody comes sniffin’ around for information from you, give ‘em the gate… this is what they are… “E-Thugs”… don’t even give ‘em the time of day…

I got some interesting third-party reports about OCA/ROCOR apparatchiki sniffing around for information about whom are speaking to internet journalists (not merely me). Usually, my correspondents report that their callers all use the same format… “Do you have any information on who’s talking”… nothing specific, no sites mentioned. My sources say to me, “It’s a priest from the east/left coast/lower 48/Alaska (I’ve heard all four used)”… no names given.
Well… I can tell you that the First Families are sniffing in all the wrong directions and they’re harassing all the wrong people. Mostly, I don’t get my information from people who were direct participants in events (all too often, they’re cowed by such moral midgets as Lyonyo and Lebedeff)… they’re mostly those with a tie to such people. Trust me… people “talk” in their inner circles, and those who hear it (and who see what the First Families scummers do to their family members and friends) end up talking to me (and others). This has been going on for a very long time… since 1965, in fact. That’s when the deaths of Leonty Turkevich and Anastassy Gribanovsky allowed the rise of Aleksandr Schmemann and George Grabbe. These two ambitious archpriests craved power and they didn’t scruple at anything to get it.
Prior to 1965, there was NO Church War… no, the Metropolia and the Synod (that’s we called the ROCOR way back when) didn’t like each other one bit… but there was no brutal polemics and nasty backstabbing as one saw between 1965 and 2002. There was no ecumenism, liturgical experimentation, theological nuttiness, or “New Calendar” foolishness in the Metropolia… Vladyki Leonty wouldn’t stand for such madness and muzzled the Renovationists. On the other hand, Vladyki Anastassy kept the “Restorationists” (extreme right-wing) at bay and spoke for the Orthodoxy of the ages. The deaths of Metropolitans Leonty and Anastassy unleashed two disparate (yet, oddly similar) archpriestly cabals. The OCA/Metropolia gang was Renovationist… attacking the accepted Church Order in the name of a notional “purity”. The Synodal/ROCOR gang was Restorationist… attacking the accepted Church order in the name of a notional “purity”… hey, didn’t I just write that? I did… I did so with malice aforethought… it was to point up to you that neither party was truly following the traditional Church order… both were rebels… both were ideologically separated from what went on before them. Both were basically identical under the skin, despite seeming glaring disparities (it’s why the First Families get on so well, today).
In addition, there were extremist institutions… SVS, on the left, and Jordanville, Holy Transfiguration Monastery, and St Herman’s Monastery (the latter two were later eased out of the ROCOR due to credible reports of sodomy), on the right. It’s interesting, if you look at the OrthoWiki article on Holy Transfiguration, you find a botched piece of open propaganda that doesn’t mention Panteleimon Metropoulos’ hegira from the GOAA to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem to the ROCOR to vagante irrelevancy. Likewise, if you look at the OrthoWiki article on Pierre l’Huillier (an SVS stalwart), there’s no mention of his flight to the Caribbean in his last days to avoid John Law. Nevertheless, despite their questionable CVs, these people (and the institutions that they served) have been abusing people since the mid-60s. Until the early 2000s, it was easy… they controlled all informational media in the Church; ergo, nothing that displeased them saw the light of day. Now, the internet’s very freedom scares them… they don’t (and can’t) control it, and people are logging on to those sites that tell the truth, not those that repeat comfortable First Family lies.
Because of this, they’re running about trying to find out who’s talking to whom. Of course, they’re doing it in a slipshod and clumsy fashion… I’m NOT going to tell them how to do it… by the time that they figure it out; it’ll be too late. I’ll say this… they’re going after all the wrong people, and all that they’ll do is to inflame more people against them. A friend wrote to me, “You say openly what the rest of us are only whispering”. It’s time to reclaim our Church from these chowderheads… not only are they abusive and nasty, they can’t even identify their enemies correctly, so, they go after the wrong folks. It’s time to speak the truth with confidence… if the Church is the pillar and ground of Truth, as the Apostle wrote, then, it’s time to stop the clerical lies and stop the harassment of innocent people by power-hungry priests. Christ demands that of us… shall we deliver? Or, shall we punk out? It’s up to you.
Remember Eric Iliff (SVS and its devotees want to subject him to damnatio memoriae)… the First Families called him “insane”… I think NOT…
