The difference is so marked that a newly-arrived alien from Mars could tell it, and they’d see that these are two utterly opposite faiths, with few, if any, points of contact. There’s the real piety you find in Classical Christianity (Orthodox, Catholic, Reformation Protestant)… then, there’s the false pietism you see in Sectarianism (Mormon, JWs, Adventism, Pentecostalist, Southern Baptist, the New American Sects). What we believe IS mirrored in how we worship. If our belief is straight, our worship is reverent and dignified, reflecting the glory and majesty of Almighty God (services centred on the Holy Presence). If our belief is crook, our worship ends in being either a dry and cerebral homolatry (services consisting mainly of three songs and a lecture) or an abandoned and ecstatic Dionysian storm of sensuality (services centred on agitated emotional outbursts). Always keep in mind that Sectarianism is the Evil One’s simulacrum of Christianity. The Lord Christ ISN’T “Jay-Zuss”… we forget that at our peril…

I. M. Weasel… the official mascot and spokesman for the OCA Holy Synod (he thinks he’s rather too clever by half, doesn’t he?)… need we guess who I. R. Baboon symbolises? Let’s see… Baboon is unintelligent, jealous, ugly, and has no talent at most things… which bishop reminds you of that?
I’m very sad, and I feel as if they’ve lied to me about their supposed sincerity… they’re all lying weasels.
It’s a “Greek Tragedy”… in the formal sense. It’s going to play out to the end… but we know the result. The Centre isn’t aloof… they know that no matter what form their intervention took, it would have BAD consequence. They can only help us when we ourselves realise that the jig’s up. I know it… you do… so do many others. The OCA can stumble on for another five years, at most… I don’t think that it has that. SAD… yet, it tells us where they stand, and that’s a GOOD thing.
I was hoping that we finally had some Bishops with guts on the Holy Synod… just you watch, in a few months, JP will cause another crisis…
It’ll happen sooner than that… he’ll stand behind Jensen 100 percent. In any case, no one supports what happened. Look at what happened at St Tikhon’s… Mollard’s scrambling for money because the PA po-nashemu guys have given up on him. It’s only a matter of time…
