America has spent the last twenty years pushing its weight around, bullying all those that it pleased. No other country has bombed as many countries on such flimsy grounds as it has. When the USSR existed, it held American aggression in check… now, utter bankruptcy checks America. If we don’t stop our foolishness, the US economy will collapse (especially if the inane “tax cuts” for the rich continue). War-making is expensive… not only in money, but in lost lives and in maimed futures. It’s time to go home and quit being the neighbourhood bully… we might get some respect, then.
