A Friend Told Me About Fathausen Issuing Some Hilarious Dezinformatsiya…

A friend wrote me this:

I picked up a copy of Fathausen’s most recent vanity publication and it contains a detailed 19-page biography by none other than… Ginny Nieuwsma! That nauseating piece of pseudo-hagiograhy deserves careful dissecting, as it’s an obvious attempt at covering the holes in his “story” that you and others have pointed out. There are a couple of illuminating titbits, for example, in addition to being his crony back from UC-Santa Cruz days, Eliel is apparently Fathausen’s godson! Fathausen dropped out of the PhD program at the Graduate Theological Union not because he was in over his head, but because the other students were in their 40s and he wanted to go back when he was older. A telling gaffe is that Nieuwsma associates GTU with UC Berkeley. While there’s an arrangement in place that allows GTU students to take some courses at UC Berkeley, the two institutions are independent. Who fed her the inaccurate info? If she didn’t research this minor point, what does that say about the rest? There are also many unintentionally humorous attempts to create links with the Greeks. All told, it’s a sterling piece of dezinformatsiya worthy of the Directorate.

Hmm… it’s only been out since August, and my friend was already able to pick it up second-hand! I bet some previously unsuspecting victim was trying to wash out the bad taste in their mouth. In addition, I just looked at Amazon, and it looks like you can read parts of the bio through the “Look Inside” function. So, Little Mizz Ginny is Fathausen’s fave flack and spinmeister (if so, it’s proof that he’s an incompetent dolt… she’s an ignorant and uneducated ninny)… who woulda thunk it. I’d say to Bishop Mel, “Fire this slothful and mendacious little minx, or you’ll regret it”. I check out the spelling of names and places, I check out any detail that could help you to understand “what’s what”… it’s my RESPONSIBILITY as a journalist. However, Lil’ Mizz Ginny isn’t a journalist… she’s a shill, which is another thing altogether. Is this a surprise? If Our Lord Christ is Truth Incarnate, what does that make those who spit on the Truth by deliberately issuing Falsehood? We all know who their “father” is… and it’s NOT Our Father in Heaven…

By being a loyal apparatchik at a Galician Uniate establishment, Mr Jillions spits on the podvig of Fr Dmitri Sidor… Jillions supports our foe’s cause, he supports the SBU’s torture of Fr Dmitri (after all, it’s part of the War on Terror, isn’t it?),  and he supports the apologists of Nazi collaborators… and he expects to be praised for it! What consummate brass and GALL…

Read this:

The time has long since passed for some posters to use pseudonyms out of fear for retribution. What case can now be made to continue to allow anonymity? The cheap shots above are only made by cowards. There can be no other reason. In other words, sign your name or crawl back under your rock!

(Editor’s note (Mark Stokoe): That may be true in the OCA, where I agree, only cowards don’t sign their names. But, that is not the case in the AOCNA, where retribution can be swift and terrible for expressing dissent. Since I have no way of determining to what jurisdiction people belong… or should only OCA types speak about OCA matters, and only AOCNA about Antioch? So much for Orthodox unity then…. I don’t know the answer, but until someone can suggest a way to insure the safety of everyone, either everyone gets to be anonymous who wishes, including cowards and shills, or there should be no comments. And speaking of shills, what good is a fake name? Look at OCATruth where people created fake names to post, while decrying anonymity here. It’s a complicated issue, that’s for sure.)

Well, well, well, Mr Reeves mustn’t be talking about me… I ALWAYS sign my posts or put up my initials. What are the “cheap shots”, Mr Reeves? The FACT that Jillions is a schizo “dual citizen?” The FACT that he works in a UNIATE establishment? The FACT that he’s one of Lyonyo’s Old Gang in Syosset (as is Mark, by the way)? The FACT that he’s got NO administrative experience whatsoever? The FACT that the “Institute” that he ran in Cambridge was nothing but one ratty hired room? In short, the guy’s not fit to be Chancellor… Chancellor is an ADMINISTRATIVE position… it REQUIRES some business or admin acumen. By the way, Bishop Mel did work in business… he DOES have some idea of “how things work” in the real world. Jillions is nothing but a clueless academic… making him Chancellor is a recipe for TOTAL DISASTER.

I noted that Rebecca Matovic opened up her Southern-fried yap in Stokoe’s comboxes again… don’t forget, she works in advertising, that is, she’s a shill, she’s a paid huckster. Attending to her is like believing Karl Rove… do it only at your own peril.

The Stokoe lot is circling the wagons around Jillions. I’d say this… a man who refuses to be clear on one the most basic human allegiances there is, one’s citizenship, is someone who you can NEVER trust, even with the smallest responsibility. They’ll punk out, and try to make it look like YOU did it. If he can’t decide if he’s an American or a Canadian (for he has BOTH passports)… he should rusticate in his Uniate teaching job. In any case, they LOVE him up there. Let him stay there… do you really want someone who winks at Nazi collaborators and UPA bandits in a position of authority in a Russian Orthodox Church? Let’s not be coy… the Galician Uniates are the blood-drenched enemies of Christ’s Church. To work at one of their institutions is sinful for any Orthodox Christian. Let’s not forget the thousands of Poles and Roma murdered in Volhynia by the UPA, the aid that the Hilfspolizei gave in rounding up slave labourers and Jews, and the killing of Fr Gavriil Kostelnik (a martyr for Christ’s sake, if there ever was one). Here’s the cherry on top… UPA bandits murdered po-nashemu people in the Carpathians… why would we want a man who hobnobs with their literal descendents and apologists to be a leader amongst us? Bozhe!

By the way, Mr Reeves, the first person to attack anonymous internet posting was Fr Vsevolod Chaplin (I give him credit for that… all the time)… you should give him the credit. I note that you Renovationists hate Vsevolod Anatolyevich, and you NEVER mention his name. Let me tell you… Fr Vsevolod has done more for the Church than you have, Mr Reeves… and more than Lyonyo has, Mark has, Jillions has, or the whole scurvy SVS lot has. He’s KMG’s closest confidant… that’s all.

To end this… whom do you prefer as exemplars, Mr Reeves? Do you prefer John Jillions and the Blunder, or, do you prefer Fr Mikhail Shuvar and Mme Lydia Plas? I prefer Fr Mikhail and Mme Plas… they’re in Heaven with God and the angels. As for the Blunder and Mr Jillions… the less said, the better.
