Patriarch Irinej Called On Northern Kosovo Serbs to Stand Firm in Fighting For Their Rights

Patriarch Irinej Gavrilović (1930- ), the First Hierarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church

______________________________

On Friday, Patriarch Irinej Gavrilović, the First Hierarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), backed the right of northern Kosovo Serbs to self-defence by putting up roadblocks. He called on the local Serbian population to persist in the fight for their rights. Earlier today, the Patriarch served liturgy at the Patriarchate of Peć, located in western parts of the province. The spiritual leader of Serbian Orthodox Christians was in Kosovo for the holyday of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God, which is one of the medieval SPC monastery’s patron saint days. In a statement for reporters after the service, Irinej called on northern Kosovo Serbs to stand firm until “the strongmen come to realise that Serbs will defend their country and that they’ll put up barricades on their own land, in order to protect their homes in areas where they’ve been living for centuries”.

Editor’s Note:

Irinej’s defying the USA and the EU, which means that he’s got tacit Russian support for his stance. No doubt, Vova has given him the green light in this. It could also mean that opposition to the EU’s solidifying in Serbia. Let’s see how things develop…

Just some of the stuff that we have for kids… Russia isn’t a land of ogres… don’t listen to Fox News and don’t listen to the jokers in Stokoe’s comboxes. Laugh along with Masha and the Bear… that’s the ticket. They’re from the famous TV show Спокойной ночи, малыши! (Spokoinoi Nochi, malyshi!: Good night, kids!)… all of Russia knows and loves Uncle Volodya and Aunt Valya. I have HOPE for the future…

One of the leading lights in the Kuklyachyov Cat’s Theatre in Moscow is Boris the Cat. This little ham steals the show and is the Russian “face” of Kitekat (pronounced, Kee-tee-kaht) cat food. Just as most Americans have heard of Morris the Cat… most Russians know and love Boris. Have a smile and watch the vid… see why Russia loves Boris… and you will, too!

The Voice of Wise Books Sounds Far and Wide!

If you’re looking for a wise book, try C S Lewis or Rav Kook or St Hilarion Troitsky or Jacques Ellul… not JP. Putting him in amongst the first four is like inviting Alfred E Neuman to be a guest lecturer at the MDA! This is nothing but an excuse for a photo op for El Gordo with Deher, Mattingly, Freddie M-G, Darlin’ Marilyn, and the usual cast of suspects… they’re circling the wagons, kids…

Hmm… JP’s going to be signing copies of his new ghost-written opus on 14.00-15.00 EDT Sunday 16 October… at St Nicholas Cathedral in Washington DCReal authors with books published by real publishing houses hold book signings in real venues. Fathausen holds a book signing at an in-house event hosted by the parish he’s in charge of… Huh? That’s because Fathausen isn’t a real author published by a real publishing house; therefore, he doesn’t have a real book signing in a real venue… is Marilyn Swezey orchestrating this lashed-up hash-up? It reminds me of the time Fathausen lectured at that cheesy right-wing “Acton Institute”… I ran a piece entitled Take a Look! Fathausen’s gonnna be a Perfesser!

Oh, yes… Lil’ Mizz Ginny screwed up yet again. Dear… you’re supposed to have JP’s schedule for the next two weeks posted in a prominent and easily-accessible location on the main page of the website. It’s what REAL official websites do. I thought that you’d like to know that… this item belongs on “page one”. They can’t even tell the “whole truth and nothing but the truth” about the smallest matters. If they can’t do so over minor matters, what gives you confidence that they’re doing so over major ones? All things being equal… Fathausen’s cred is in the sewer. It’s fallen and it can’t get up. Let’s see… the Sobor is soon, isn’t it?
