30 November 2011. El Gordo to Speak at Konvertsy “Symposium” This Weekend in Texas

(sung to the tune of “There She Is, Miss America“): “There he is, the Metropolitan of all America and Canada…” Will someone get me a barf bag? It’s purporting to be First Class in Pan Am in ’68… when it’s just coach to Las Vegas on Jet Blue on a “red-eye” with every nutter in creation on the passenger manifest…

Click here to read all about Fathausen’s latest escapade. Do note the source… it means that Hannes Jacobses is firmly behind El Gordo. Also note that the Angliochian nutters and that whole Gillquistite Anal Roberts University crew has adopted JP as a mascot. Does it surprise you to find out that oca.org had nothing posted on this little contretemps? This looks EXACTLY like what happened after the Santa Fe meeting. Fathausen was contrite as long as he had to be… and reverted to his noxious form once the heat was off him. ”Towards an American Orthodox Church”… what utter nonsense, bunkum, humbug, and just plain bullshit. The Centre isn’t behind this roly-poly poseur. Remember how Vladyki Yuvenaly Poyarkov used to hang out in Syosset in the ’80s? That sure doesn’t happen any more! Don’t forget, neither El Gordo or Dickie (or any other OCA worthy) were invited to His Nibs‘ huge Dixie Fry for his 65th birthday last weekend. Keep in mind what an MP informant told me:

The OCA isn’t welcome in Moscow, I have it on good authority. Moscow is waiting for its “mistake” to fall apart. Jonah and Zacchaeus were the last straws.

I wonder how this “symposium” is going to be received in Chisty Pereulok… do remember that you heard it here before you heard about it on oca.org. Will someone tell Ginny Nieuwsma that the purpose of an official website is to “inform and publicise”, not to “hide and refuse to post?” It’s never boring, is it? The smart word has it that we have Gregory Nescott to blame for this… he laid down on the railroad tracks for Fathausen. It’s the usual fun n’ games.

One Last Thing Department:

Wo ist Garklavs? Is he at the Centre, or is that off, too? Perspirin’ minds wanna know…

Minsk Subway Bombers Sentenced to Firing Squad with No Appeal

______________________________

On Wednesday, a court sentenced to death two Byelorussians convicted of carrying out a bomb attack in the Minsk Metro that killed 15 people, with no option for appeal. Dmitri Konovalov and Vladislav Kovalyov were found guilty of detonating an explosive device at a subway station on 11 April. The blast also injured more than 200 people. The Supreme Court’s ruling is final and may not be appealed. Persons sentenced to death may only appeal to President Lukashenko for pardon. Supreme Court presiding judge Alexander Fedortsov said that the perpetrator Konovalov had repeatedly committed acts of terrorism, purposely seeking to cause the maximum amount of damage. Kovalyov, as an accomplice to the crime, had known about Konovalov’s practises for years, failing to report them to law enforcement agencies, while in the subway attack his complicity was “direct”, the court said. Both defendants were mentally fit and fully aware of what they were about to do at the moment of committing their crime, the judge said.

Throughout his presidency, Aleksandr Lukashenko has only once granted a pardon, commuting a death sentence to a 20-year prison term in 1996. No one has ever publicly announced exactly who received that pardon. Konovalov and Kovalyov are to be executed by firing squad. The date of their execution hasn’t yet been set. Belarus remains the only European country that allows the death penalty. Last year, two people received death sentences, which were carried out.

Editor’s Note:

The Church generally teaches against the death penalty, but it doesn’t rule it out entirely. The Minsk Metro bombers, in essence, attacked the whole community with their bombing. Therefore, they’re obviously “exceptions that prove the rule”. I’d volunteer for the firing squad of these two losers with no hesitation. I’d sleep well afterwards, too… the carrying out of a legit death sentence is no sin.

It’s instructive to compare the number of death sentences in Byelorussia as compared to Texas, especially as the Republican slimers never miss an opportunity to attack Byelorussia, as Byelorussia stands tall for Social Justice and Socialism. There’s 9.6 million Byelorussians as compared to 25 million in Texas. That’s to say, Byelorussia is roughly 40 percent the size of Texas in population. If all things were equal, if there were two executions in Byelorussia, there’d be five executions in Texas. Surprise, surprise! “Democratic Free Market” Texas had 17 executions… a rate 340 percent HIGHER than nasty ol’ Socialist Byelorussia! It means that Rick Perry’s a bloodthirsty ravening Visigoth in comparison with Aleksandr Lukashenko.

Why is Texas’ rate of execution so much higher than not only Byelorussia, but of almost any other jurisdiction with the death penalty? Firstly, of the 17 death sentences in Texas, only six involved white Anglo inmates (roughly 35 percent of the number). Hmm… white Anglos made up 45 percent of the general population, thus, making them under-represented in the death penalty universe (having an index of 78 (out of 100)). On the other hand, Hispanics are 38 percent and Blacks are 12 percent of the general population, but they’re over-represented in the death penalty sample, Blacks making up 30 percent (index of 250) and Hispanics making up six (35 percent, index of 92). The figures don’t lie. Texas courts are fairly lenient to Anglo whites…. somewhat fair to Hispanics (but more unfair than to Anglos)… definitely unfriendly to Black defendants. That’s what the figures tell us… and no amount of squalling by Rod Dreher, Jessie Cone, Joseph Honeycutt, or John Whiteford can change things.

Why is the political culture of Texas so violent as compared to that of Byelorussia? Firstly, Texas is suffused with Radicalism, in particular, Free Market Libertarian Nihilism, one of the most brutal and nasty ideologies ever thought up by man. Texas is NOT “conservative”, not by any definition. Rick Perry, Tom DeLay, and George W Bush bear no resemblance to Edmund Burke, Benjamin Disreali, Patrice de Mac-Mahon, Otto von Bismarck, John Diefenbaker, and Pyotr Stolypin… all of whom were TRUE conservatives. Besides this, Anglo Texas was born in sectarian violence in the early 19th century. Texas as-we-know-it came about because Mexico abolished slavery, and the Proddie Anglo settlers would have none of it, they set themselves up against the duly-recognised and legitimate Mexican authorities and the Mexican law (which was based on the Roman Law of Emperor Justinian’s Civil Code). Anglo Texas was born in juvenile, self-centred, and lawless rebellion against its rightful civil authority (sounds all too much like 1776 in the “Thirteen Colonies”, doesn’t it?). Trust me, that isn’t “conservative” in anyone’s book.

In short, Texas is a textbook illustration of a Radical group claiming another’s territory as Lebensraum. Had the fascists won World War II, they would have done to Byelorussia, the Ukraine, and Western Russia what the Anglos did in Texas. They would have stolen the land from the rightful owners, they would have alienated the names of the physical features and towns, and they would have set themselves up as a “superior” ruling caste…. the only difference being that Jews, Slavs, and Roma would play the parts that Blacks, Mexicans, and Indians played in Texas. There’s no difference between Erich Koch and Sam Houston… except for one detail… Houston was a “winner” and Koch was a “loser”. “Winners” get to write history. The “Winners” write about the “Losers”, who have no say in the resulting narrative. I trust that you can see the difference.

Socialist Byelorussia resorts to the death penalty less often than does “Free Market Democratic” Texas. I think that it shows all objective people which system is worthy and decent, and which system is inhumane and indecent. A posturing jackass on Wikipedia wrote the following untrue and slobbering drivel:

Under Lukashenko’s rule, Belarus has come to be viewed as a state whose conduct is out of line with international law and whose regime is considered to grossly violate human rights.

The facts say otherwise. That snippet describes Texas under the grinding boot of the oligarch-run Republican Party, NOT Byelorussia under Socialism. Let the objective facts speak… let history judge. Ponder this… the Republicans want to spread the brutish violence and Know-Nothing ignorant bigotry of Texas throughout these United States. Don’t let it happen…

30 November 2011. What Does *Retired* Mean In OCA-Speak?

Does “retired” mean RETIRED… or, does it mean, “He’s off the hook, stop bothering me”. Perspirin’ minds wanna know…

______________________________

The recent “retirement” of Raymond Velencia leaves more questions unanswered than it solves. Firstly, is Velencia is still “in good standing” or has he been retired “under a cloud?” Syosset made no proper announcement, they just tacked “retired” under his name in the clergy listings; they’ve let themselves in for accusations of shading the truth, yet again. Why did Paffhausen let him “retire” instead of properly disciplining him? Ray didn’t even face a pro forma hearing for having dragged the Church through the mud via his “legal settlement”, or for his sending of bogus legal threats to ordinary Orthodox laypeople (I was one of them; I’ll testify to that in any court). We all read Mark Hodge’s recent panegyric of Velencia; you’d think that Ray was persecuted and downtrodden. Nothing is further from the truth.

He’ll draw a pension and he’ll still have the credentials to be a priest. Is he going to be allowed to serve at any parish? I’m all for taking the least invasive route in solving a problem. “Retiring” Ray would be dandy if we made it clear that he was retired “for due cause” and that although he’d draw his pension, he wouldn’t be allowed to serve in any parish. Otherwise, the message is clear. Jonas Paffhausen believes that clergy have a “Get Out of Jail, Free” card, but that the laity must be held to the strictest possible standards. Oddly enough, the Real Church not only disagrees with that formulation, it disagrees with it most emphatically and completely.

The OCA apparat owes the Church “the rest of the story”. Is Velencia under ANY restriction at all or is this another dodge of Paffhausen to keep his pals from any consequence for their actions? Don’t forget that Paffhausen believes in the “Brum Doctrine”… the Metropolitan is a tin-horn dictator, an infallible Orthodox mini-pope (somewhat like Mini-Me in Austin Powers). Not only do I disagree with that… I have the Baroque notion that I’m not alone. Do note that Moscow’s sending out signals that it no longer recognises the OCA as a legit Local Church. MP acquaintances tell me that JP and Dickie were the last straws. Oh, yes… don’t forget, Garklavs is due in Moscow tomorrow (and oca.org didn’t deign to post any news of it). I, for one, would love to be a “fly on the wall” for what’s going to come down.

It’s getting confused and sclerotic as the OCA goes down. Don’t expect CONSISTENCY. Sad to say, the ROCOR‘s in the same boat. We’re seeing Ragnarok in slo-mo, and it’s not pretty. Be careful… and do make sure that the parish funds are safe from Syosset. Trust no one… remember Nemolovsky… you DON’T want a repeat performance, do you?

Bear in mind, the Old Norse edda had it that there was a rebirth after the Götterdämmerung… that gives me hope. The Gibichung Hall must fall, but that collapse needn’t crush us (or our parishes)…

The Ukrainian Authorities Are Afraid of the Schismatic Denisenko, According to UOC/MP Press Secretary Vasili Anisimov

Freedom, American-Style

Unknown Artist

post-Soviet Russian poster

******

THIS is what Mr Anisimov is talking about, make no mistake on it. Do you really want to support such? If “by their fruits ye shall know them” is true, what does that tell us about the American rightwing and its “nationalist” stooges in Eastern Europe? Take your time before answering…

______________________________

Vasili Anisimov, the head of Press Service of the UOC/MP, said that we could solve the problem of the church schism in Ukraine “as soon as today”, but the authorities don’t have enough determination to do it. In an interview with Interfax-Religion on Wednesday, Anisimov said, “From a legal point of view, the creation of the UOC/KP is nothing but a pure scam; it’s a red herring. The plot’s rather banal and primitive, even the participants themselves admit it; it’s here on this video”. Noting that the Ukrainian Genprokuratura has now reopened many cases from the past decade, he said, “The church scam should become the focus of their attention”. In Anisimov’s view, you can find the key to the self-proclaimed “Patriarchate of Kiev” amongst deputies in the Verkhovna Rada.

Anisimov said, “Philaret Denisenko (the leader of the ‘Patriarchate of Kiev’) created a multi-tiered criminal protection racket. The first tier was in the Ukrainian Presidency (and it was so with Kravchuk, Kuchma, and Yushchenko), and with it, of course, the entire chain of command down from the central government, to the State Committee, to the Oblast Governors, and to the Raion leadership, with all their known assets. The second tier is Rada deputies, protected by their immunity. The third tier is the various political parties. The fourth tier is foreign parties, such as the Americans, with their associated foundations, grants, broadcast propaganda, and media. The fifth tier is actually the most important… commercial enterprises. We’ve exposed a lot of the businesses run by Philaret’s operatives, such as a commercial bank and a pseudo-humanitarian foundation, along with the import and sale of foreign cars, oil trading, and even the recruitment and rental of mercenaries. It comes down to the fact that Philaret has many ties to the old nomenklatura and to the SBU because he became Metropolitan of Kiev some 40 years ago. Indubitably, this is a squid masquerading as a religious body; the régime is afraid of its tentacles”.

Anisimov pointed up that, since its very first days, Philaret has included a so-called “Supreme Ecclesiastical Council” in his organisation, which included “some of the most low-down members of parliament, very evil nationalists. He’s never denied that he got money from them. He’s got People’s Deputies in his structure, they’ve got parliamentary immunity… the law can’t do anything about them”.

Editor’s Note:

Langley has its fingers in most schismatical/Uniate pies on the old Soviet space. Their links to the Galician Uniates are well-known… both Langley and the West German BND ran a successful “white-wash” operation involving Galician SS men, Croat Ustaše, and Baltic Nazi Legionnaires. This picked up steam after the fall of the USSR… my informants tell me that Denisenko, Rusantsov, and Agafangel Pashkovsky (the head of the rump “Russian Orthodox Church in Exile”) are all reputed to be Langley operatives and they willingly take CIA money and carry out its orders uncritically (just as the ROCOR did prior to its reconciliation with the Mother Church).

The Ukraine has a per capita GDP only 40 percent that of Russia… mostly due to “sell-out” nationalists handing over key sectors of the economy over to Western interests at fire-sale prices. There’s much truth in Mr Anisimov’s charges… and they go deeper than just political corruption and dirty money. You see, religious schism walks hand-in-hand with Russophobic propaganda and the selling out of national interests to Western “investors”. Don’t attack the ROCOR rank n’filers who refused to “come home” in 2007… but do mark down who’s been led astray by American interests. Don’t listen to the rightwing… don’t listen to Paffhausen, Dreher, Potapov, Reardon, and Webster.

You can bow before Almighty God or you can bow before America the Exceptional. None dare call it blasphemy…

Anders Behring Breivik Declared Insane

______________________________

Anders Behring Breivik, accused of masterminding a dual terrorist attack in Norway, can’t stand trial on the grounds of mental incompetence. Experts made this conclusion after a psychiatric examination. They told Norwegian media that the effects of sexual abuse in Breivik’s childhood might have caused this. On Tuesday, forensic psychiatrists who analysed Breivik’s mental state at the time of the terrorist attacks on 22 July presented their conclusion that he was “insane”.

Their report stated, “Breivik suffers from paranoid-schizophrenic disorder. The experts determined that he fantasised that he was a Knight Templar, who committed murder out of love for his people”. The report points up that Breivik displayed an “unhealthy state” during both the preparation and the carrying out of the terrorist acts, and in his communications with doctors. “We have no doubt about it. Now, the court has to decide, we don’t have the last word”, said Dr Torgeir Husby, who conducted the examination. The experts don’t rule out that Breivik’s schizophrenia could be the result of shock from sexual abuse that he suffered at the age of four or five. This opinion was been expressed earlier by anonymous experts, and, on Tuesday, Drs Torgeir Husby and Synne Sorheim stated that these hypotheses sound plausible, even if it’s very difficult to confirm them at this point.

Breivik Might Be Under Compulsory Treatment for the Rest of His Life

If the Oslo District Court agrees with the findings of forensic experts presented on Tuesday, Breivik is likely to spend the rest of his life in compulsory treatment in a closed psychiatric ward. “Every third year, they’d consider an extension of treatment. This would be starting from the original decision of the court”, Prosecutor Ang Beyer said at a press conference about the results of Breivik’s psychiatric examination. It could result in life-long detention, if experts find him a continued threat to society, she added. According to Ms Beyer, 111 people are currently in compulsory treatment in Norway; half of them received such detention for murder or attempted murder.

In the near future, Norway will create a special commission that will examine all the material and make their assessment of the forensic findings. This should happen before Christmas. For its part, prosecutors could theoretically require hire other experts to give them another opinion on Breivik’s sanity. As he stated at the hearing, Prosecutor Sveyn Holden thinks that we should send Breivik for treatment at a secure mental hospital, so, he’s likely to avoid prison. He said, “Psychiatrists describe Breivik as a person who lives in his own fantasy world and all his thoughts and actions are influenced by it. He’s suffered from paranoid schizophrenia for quite a long time, and, at the time of his offence, he considered himself a knight saving humanity“.

The common assumption was that the court would sentence Breivik to 21 years in prison… the maximum penalty in Norway. However, if the court found him guilty of a terrorist act against humanity, the prison term could go up to 30 years. Earlier, Breivik said that he doesn’t consider himself crazy, and his lawyer believes that Breivik deserves some leniency from the authorities, as he voluntarily surrendered to police and cooperated with the investigation. Breivik’s case is supposed to start on 16 April 2012. Authorities at Ila prison, where Breivik is at present, have already announced that they’re going to build a special unit for the famous prisoner in January. It’ll have more thorough-going security measures than the rest of the prison has, according to the journal Aftenposten.

Psychiatrists Synne Sorheim and Torgeir Husby held 12 meetings with Breivik. According to the broadcasting company NRK, their conclusion is 230 pages long. The initial deadline for making a decision about whether to arraign Breivik on charges for his terrorist attack to face criminal prosecution or whether he should be remanded to compulsory treatment was 1 November, but was extended at the psychiatrists’ request to 30 November. According to his lawyer, Geir Lippestad, Breivik was fearful of the psychiatrists’ conclusions. Lippestad said to an interviewer, “He’s afraid that their conclusion would be ‘devastating’”. Earlier reports indicated that Breivik refused to talk with Norwegian psychiatrists and demanded an examination by Japanese specialists, but the court denied his request.

******

There were 77 victims in the dual terrorist attack on 22 July in Norway. Firstly, a bomb went off in the government quarter in central Oslo, near the Prime Minister’s Office, which killed eight people. Several hours later, the perp opened fire at a Norwegian Labour Party youth camp on Utøya Island near the capital, there, 69 people died. Immediately after the first interrogation, Breivik confessed to committing the terrorist acts, but he doesn’t consider his actions culpable. Breivik’s trial is due to start on 16 April 2012.
