I got two interesting whispers just the other day… here’s the first one:
The man who Love BT called “Austin Powers” is Michael Myers… Love BT thinks it’s cute to call him with the saccharine nickname “Austin Powers”… great role model of a Bishop eh? The other freaks on Monomakhos think it’s cute to call Mark Stokoe “Mrs Stokoe-Brown”. Isn’t that just precious? They think they’re standing for the Church… they’re a bunch of self absorbed assholes if you ask me…
That’s rather clear… and close to what the Church REALLY teaches. The Church makes all sorts of oikonomia… and I’ve found that self-absorbed konvertsy “experts” hate every exception made to help this or that individual. As Fr Alexander Lebedeff put it so succinctly (and dismissively), “They don’t know an ecclesiastical court from a tennis court”. I’ve known for years that Mark was gay, but every priest that I asked said the same thing (in pretty much the same words, too!)… “It’s not your affair. Stay out of it. It’s a matter between a priest and a penitent. Don’t you want the Church to show mercy to you?” In short, these jerks think that they’re Maximos the Confessor, but they’re only the Great Cornholio. They should stay off Mark’s back… he’s done nothing to them.
As for me… I find some things about Mark disturbing, but it’s aboveboard things like his obvious thirst for church office, his undisguised bum-kissing of Lyonyo and the SVS crowd, and his extreme “autocephaly madness” (think of Reefer Madness, and you’ll know what I mean)… but that has NOTHING to do with his preferences… sexual, social, political, or whatever (I do think that he’d play a mean hand of Liar’s Poker, though). Matthias Moriak pissed on Vladyki Job’s grave by vacating Vladyki Job’s oikonomia. If Mark’s being kicked unjustly… I’ll be the FIRST ONE to stand and fight for him. I don’t have to agree with someone to defend them from unjust attack and slander (especially from such an obvious nepotistic and dodgy sort such as Moriak). If it was good for Vladyki Job… it’s good enough for me! Moriak’s a dweeb unfit to untie Vladyki Job’s shoelaces (Vladyki Nicholas was rather too quick in ridding himself of him, wasn’t he?)… and do note that the Monomakhos crowd prefers that snivelling coward Moriak to a brave man like Vladyki Job. It tells you volumes about their character… rather, their lack of it.
An MP priest sent me this:
I know Archbishop Mark Golovkov. He’s good, really good. Of course, he and Alfeyev can’t stand each other. There’s a war between them and people are exploiting that fact.
Just note this… SVS, Jordanville, and the OCA and ROCOR apparats all praise the Blunder to the skies, whilst Archbishop Mark and Fr Vsevolod suck hind tit. I can assure you that Vladyki Mark and Fr Vsevolod figure more prominently in Russian media reports than the Blunder does. Ask yourself a question… “Why do these people want to misinform me?” The answer to that one’s disquieting, isn’t it? It’s not nice realising that you’ve been lied to, is it? Do realise that people like John Behr, JP, Hannes Jacobses, Mattingly, Freddie M-G, Andrei Psaryov, and Vassa Larina are all pumping up the Blunder… I wonder why? Note well that none of those named will tell you that His Holiness believes Western Neoliberalism to be a massive fraud, and has said so, openly.
You’re being lied to… by both the secular news media (viz. Sophia Kishkovsky) and by Church sources. That’s not a comfortable feeling, is it? Keep your money in your wallet until this all passes… otherwise, they’ll piss it away on lawyers, padded travel budgets, “evaluations”, junketeering, and dronish chancery layabouts (and cheesy “20-year plans” that have no more reality than the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy). It’s your money, after all…
