THIS is serious. I can’t tell you what to do… that’s up to each one of you, individually. Nevertheless, the ROCOR‘s in the deep kimchi, which means that the OCA, which has always been more unthrifty than its cousin, is in even WORSE shape. There’s only one way out of this mess. The time is NOW for all three Russian Orthodox bodies in the North American diaspora to form united Russian Orthodox Metropolias in the USA, Canada, and Alaska. We must all pull together, close down all unthrifty institutions (such as SVS), and work as one. It’s time to stop lying to ourselves. It’s time for Paffhausen and Kapral to step aside for a new leader sent from the Centre… the former’s incompetent, the latter’s ineffectual. We need to seriously rebuild the ruined edifice… and stop the grandiose caterwauling about Strategic Plans and Mission fantasies. It’s time to lay the cards on the table, kids…
