10 June 2012. Pasonick Deposed by OCA Synod… NO News on oca.org (Did You Expect Any?)

I got the following intel:
OCA Synod finally deposed Pasonick for his felony bribery conviction. Boyer (St T‘s abbot) drove him to the big house himself!
No news of this on oca.org. If patriarchia.ru has personnel matters up on the same day that they happen, and oca.org takes months (if ever) to post any disciplinary affairs, that does tell you much about the honesty of those running oca.org. It doesn’t speak well to the probity and reliability of Lyonyo and Lil’ Mizz Ginny, does it? Remember, JP had Pasonick as part of his “official” March for Life retinue. That’s wonderful, isn’t it? A convicted felon representing the Church. Yet, JP snickers at it, and expects you to smile at it, too.
God willing, Pasonick’s deposition is permanent. He deserves pastoral care, and he didn’t stop being a Christian, but being a convicted felon does bar one from the clergy. I wonder if the Centre knows of this…

A Muslim believer helps an old lady in the London Underground. THIS is the reality that one sees most often in the West, not mad mullahs or bomb-throwing terrorists. Of course, there’s problems… but most interactions between Christians and Muslims are peaceful… ask the Christians from the Middle East; they’ll tell you the truth. Don’t put credence in Fox News, King Rush, or Wafflin’ Willy… you see, the religious hatred that they foment profits them… immensely.
Smile at the next Muslim you see… they just might smile back. As a priest once told me, (with a heavy Russian accent) “Love Christians, love those in the Church… and those outside… love them TWICE AS MUCH”. I’ve never forgotten that…

There’s much rubbish in the American media about “Palestinian terrorists“… well, excuse me. How many of you know that American “Evangelicals” support Israel because they believe it’ll hasten the “End Times“, bring on the “Rapture“, and usher in the Reign of Christ after a so- called “Time of Tribulation”. It’s all a misreading of the Apocalypse of St John the Theologian (the last book in the Christian Bible). They don’t even cavil at nuclear warfare, as they believe that it’ll provoke the Second Coming. I’m NOT making this up… it’s what they truly and honestly believe.
As for us, pray for our Palestinian co-religionists (yes, many Palestinians are Christians), and pray for their Muslim neighbours, too… both have been savagely and contumaciously lied about in the Western media. What would YOU do if you gun-toting strangers came by, demanding and taking your land? Hmm… that sounds suspiciously like American Protestants and how they stole most of America from the Indians and Mexicans, isn’t it? Like does call unto like…
Remember this… many of the recent Christian émigrés from the Middle East are fleeing American-fomented violence and mayhem. You KNOW what to do in November… kaufft nicht bei Romney!
