Note this (click here for the whole megillah in Russian):
During the Liturgy, Vladyki Yustinian commemorated the OCA Metropolitan locum tenens, Archbishop Nathaniel Popp of Detroit, elevated to that office by the OCA Holy Synod on 9 July in connection with the resignation of His Beatitude Metropolitan Jonas Paffhausen. Since the MP awarded the Tomos of Autocephaly to the OCA, the clergy at St Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City commemorate the OCA First Hierarch at the Great Entrance during the Divine Liturgy.
That’s the full extent of the MP’s OFFICIAL reaction to Fathausen’s resignation publicly. The OCA announced a meeting between Popp, Dahulich (both puppets), and Lyonyo (the puppeteer). Click here for the blurb on oca.org. Note this:
The varied facets of the administration’s operations and outstanding work and projects were discussed, together with critical issues that need to be addressed in the immediate and near future. There was much discussion on a wide variety of issues.
The above treacly blather was from Tosi. He expects us to swallow it whole and without demur. He issues it as His Master’s Voice. It’s clear that Lyonyo is the main actor in this little Kabuki play. Note how little is conveyed in the above quote. Indeed, it says NOTHING. Lil’ Mizz Ginny just grins a cretinish smirk of approval and posts this lying rubbish, and collects her pay-cheque for bring such a good girl. I wouldn’t turn my back on her… neither should you, if you have an ounce of the good-sense that God gave you. “Outstanding work”… I’ll retire to Bedlam with Mr Scrooge…
They’re digging themselves in deeper. When shall Lyonyo’s junta fall of its own weight? From what I hear, there’s ZILCHO support out there for the putschists. Nobody gives a hoot in hell about the dispute between Bobby and Lyonyo; nearly everybody wishes that both of them (and their crackbrained feud) would just “go away”. If the Centre were to put out the word that it’d cover all OCA priests on current pensions and if it were to make it clear that it’d depose Ray Velencia for daring to sue a priest in-good-standing without episcopal approval, why, that would sew up the matter…
