Here’s the word from the Cabinet:
They cleaned out his apartment at the Syosset Chancery yesterday. He almost never frequented it, but they drove the furnishings to DC. Apparently, he demanded the furniture that the OCA bought for him. They didn’t contest this demand to avoid “problems”. They must think that if they’re nice to him, he won’t sue! JP makes me hurl… he’s shameless, posing as a “poor and humble monk!”
It’s time to call this shameless bastard’s bluff. “NO… go ahead and sue us”. That’d stop him in his tracks. Do note that whenever they’re given a choice, the Holy Synod opts for pusillanimity. We should tell the lawyers to get rooted and go to hell. Let him sue the Church. He’ll get nowhere. Of course, he’s probably threatened to “out” people and “expose” dirt… but that isn’t being an exemplar of a “meek and humble monk”, is it? This is disgusting… this shit’s gotta stop, and it won’t stop until we tell these jabronies “NO”. Shall we, though?
