26 October 2012. Here’s the BOTTOM LINE on the Election…

______________________________

If you vote for Willard, you vote for unrestrained war in foreign parts. Mormons believe in American Exceptionalism as a matter of religious dogma. They truly believe that America is a “city set on a hill” and that Americans are better than all others. In short, Willard Romney would bring suffering to unknown thousands and wouldn’t lose a wink of sleep. That’s EVIL, kids…

Vote for the Prez on Election Day. He’s merely made bad choices at times… he isn’t evil. Sometimes, you must take the best of what choice you’re offered (just like the OCA choosing Bobby over Lyonyo… no one really wanted Bobby, but Lyonyo is that bad a human being). Keep the evil from happening…

Keep President Obama in office…

You Can’t Make Up Shit Like This… Texas Woman Sentenced to 99 years in Prison for Beating Her 2-Year Old Daughter

______________________________

A Texas woman who beat her two-year old daughter and glued the toddler’s hands to a wall was sentenced to 99 years behind bars. 23-year old Elizabeth Escalona, a mother of five, plead guilty to the beating. In September 2011, she kicked the girl in the stomach, beat her with a milk jug, and, then, stuck her hands to their flat wall with Super Glue. According to doctors, the toddler had bleeding in her brain, a fractured rib, and some skin torn off her hands. The girl was in a coma for several days as a result. Prosecutors said that they were content with the sentence, whilst defence counsel asked for a suspended sentence.

Editor’s Note:

This is goofy shit, but it’ll send the rightwingers into orgasm. Such sentences are meaningless and inane. They’re one reason why the USA is the “Prison House of All the Nations”, and why Texas is the jewel of that tarnished crown. Let’s be clear… there’s a two-fold reason for imprisoning the perp… one facet is to punish the offender, the other aspect is to safeguard the child from further harm by this person. The present sentence is the sort of crapola verdict that only a Texas “evangelical” racist could applaud.

I believe that the woman should have received a 20-year sentence. This is punishment enough for the crime, and it’d safeguard the child until she grew up to adulthood (the victim would be 22 when the perp would gain release). Prison is EXPENSIVE… yet, the rightwing penny-pinchers don’t stint on it. Methinks that makes them hypocritical liars. BILLIONS for prisons… BILLONS for bombs and war… NOTHING for mothers n’ kids and old folks. There’s something horridly wrong with that picture, kids, yet, that’s the Republican Party platform. It’s objectively evil and no decent Christian can support such.

Orthodox Christians should reflect that konvertsy trash such as Josiah Trenham agree with the godless sectarian “lock ‘em ups”, not with Christ and His Church. That’s why they’re going to leave us… I wish that they’d get a move on about it.

11 August 2012. Something to Remember…

******

Here’s Masha in one of the cartoons… part of it’s based on Pushkin‘s The Fisherman and the Fish… the last part contains the moral message (it looks good in the larger screen format)…

______________________________

Of course, all of us familiar with contemporary Russian life know Masha of the famous Маша и медведь (Masha i Medved: Masha and the Bear) cartoons, which is based on an old Russian folktale. There’s much afoot in our world that can “turn” a child… some of them are very subtle, indeed. Be especially wary of those who mouth “religious” platitudes… such sorts can be the most demonic of all (as one can see in American Radical Sectarianism in its theomachistic alliance with Libertarianism and those who extol the evil pushed by Ayn Rand). Our children aren’t only our “future”, they’re our TREASURE and gift to posterity…

A friend sent me this:

When Caesar stamps out coins, they all look the same.  When God makes what belongs to Him… we each come out utterly unique.

I wish that I’d said that… but I didn’t. God gave me friends, not money. It was a GOOD decision, Lord… You KNEW what you wuz doin’. This is a “‘Nuff Said”…
