Have you heard the latest? Little Mizz Ginny didn’t post it on oca.org… as per usual.

A Cabinet Member send me the following:
Today, JP served at St Mark parish in Bethesda MD. He’ll serve there for the next several weeks as the Holy Synod won’t let him back in the Cathedral in DC.
There’s been no announcement of the above on oca.org. Therefore, is this an “official” move by the Holy Synod, or, is this an “unofficial” arrangement between JP and Greg Safchuk, the rector? This is the kind of thing that the Holy Synod has a duty to publicise, as JP’s been publicly disciplined, for all intents and purposes. That is, tomorrow, it must post a statement on oca.org stating, “For the foreseeable future, the former First Hierarch of the OCA, Metropolitan Jonas Paffhausen, will serve at St Mark parish in Bethesda MD. This arrangement is amenable to the Holy Synod, Fr Gregory Safchuk (the parish rector), and the parish’s lay leadership”. Now, that would be informative and cut out all speculation on the affair. As it stands, it’s just the usual hutsky-klutsky secrecy. Do note that a week after its dismissal of JP, the Holy Synod and Lyonyo have refused to give a reason for their action. If they “unanimously asked for his resignation”… that’s a dismissal.
The OCA’s dead. It’s time to go home…
