00 Broken clock

  • 17 percent believe it’ll result in a war between the ROK and the DPRK with heavy American involvement
  • 15 percent believe it’ll end in World War III
  • 18 percent believe that the DPRK doesn’t have the firepower or equipment to launch a war
  • 45 percent believe that it’ll result in nothing. The DPRK is infamous for its empty rhetoric
  • 5 percent don’t know. They’re not familiar with the events on the Korean peninsula

Editor’s Note:

This was a VOR poll on the Russian side of the website. What did I vote for? Like most reasonable people, I opted for the fourth option, “It’ll result in nothing. The DPRK is infamous for its empty rhetoric”. The news one’s hearing in the USA is nothing but a Langley provocation and Fox News lies. Anyone who falls for it is a blithering chowderhead, and that’s all that there’s to say on the matter.

Poll Finds that One in Four Americans Believe that Obama is the Antichrist

00 09.11 Patriarch Kirill on President Obama

______________________________

According to a poll released on Tuesday, about one in four Americans suspect that President Barack Obama might be the Antichrist, more than a third believe that global warming is a hoax, and more than half suspect that a secretive global élite is trying to set up a New World Order. More American voters believe that President Obama is the Antichrist than those who think that the moon landing was a hoaxNational Journal reported that Public Policy Polling looked at some conspiracy theories. 13 percent of respondents said Obama is the Antichrist and another 13 percent are unsure. The survey also showed that 37 percent of Americans thought that global warming was a hoax, whilst 12 percent weren’t sure, and a slim majority… 51 percent… agreed with the overwhelming majority view of the scientific establishment and thought that it wasn’t. The survey also revealed that 28 percent of people believed in a sinister global New World Order conspiracy, aimed at ruling the whole world through an authoritarian government. Another 25 percent were “not sure”; only a minority of American voters… 46 percent… thought such a conspiracy theory wasn’t true.

Editor’s Note:

Look at the above. Such fables are the bedrock orthodoxy of the GOP base. However, don’t discount them because they’re false and asinine. The Republicans are stirring up the ignorant yahoos. We need to organise and vote to beat them back. If you want real freedom, you’ll oppose the voracious and rapacious anti-life programme of the Republicans… oh, yes… their “anti-abortion” plank doesn’t cancel out the demonic and bestial remainder of their agenda. NEVER forget that.

Levada Centre Sez Number of Soviet System Supporters Grew in Russia

00 Vera Mukhina. Worker and Kolkhoz Woman. fireworks. 10.02.13

_______________________________

A survey published by the Russian independent pollster Levada Centre found that the number of people who support the Soviet political system grew in Russia. Today, 36 percent of Russians regard the Soviet system as best, compared to 29 percent in 2012. Those who support Western democracy fell from 29 percent to 22 percent, Levada reported. Only 17 percent said that favour the existing political system, a three percent drop from last year. The survey also posed a question about economics. The results showed that more than half of Russians (51 percent) support an economic model based on state planning (49 percent in 2012). Only 29 percent spoke in favour of private ownership and a free market system (36 percent in 2012). The poll, conducted on January 18 to 21, involved 1,600 participants and had a margin of error not exceeding 3.4 percentage points.

Editor’s Note:

One has to see Potapov’s latest little tirade downing Stalin in the light of what this poll reveals. Potapov spent his life as a willing lickspittle propagandist in Langley’s service. Did he protest the bombing of Serbia by quitting the American service? He certainly didn’t! Did he refuse to serve the murderous and treacherous George W Bush (whose administration fomented the 2008 South Ossetia War and invaded Iraq for no reason whatseover)? NO, not at all! Well, ordinary Russians spoke, and they said, “NO”, to Potapov’s unhinged mercenary lies about “Free Enterprise” and “Economic Freedom”.  Sadly, Potapov’s not alone in the ROCOR. His pal Artiomov in München also compromised himself by supporting the Vlasovtsy (his father was one), sidelining himself. He’s also persona non grata in Moscow. Shall these people stay in ROCOR when the Centre cleans house? Perspirin’ minds wanna know! Perhaps, that’s why the Centre doesn’t want Hard Right loonies like Paffhausen in the ROCOR…

The sooner that the ROCOR removes Potapov’s scrofulous post from its official website, the better. It’s removed the blurb for it from the top of the page… now, it’s time to remove the post and apologise to the millions of sincerely-Orthodox Russians who’re leftists and communists (the number of godly leftists vastly outnumbers that of the pro-American trash in Russia… who are mostly godless or sectarians). As for Potapov, he’s a known quantity… he’s been an open spook in the American service since the 80s. Let’s see… don’t the canons forbid priests to enter “Roman” (that is, government) service? Hmm…

Gallup Poll Sez Obama Likely to Win another Presidential Term

______________________________

With the US presidential election just five days away, a survey from the Gallup Organization shows that President Barack Obama is likely to win a second presidential term. the survey said, “A majority of Americans continue to believe that Democratic President Barack Obama will win re-election Tuesday over Republican challenger Mitt Romney, by 54 percent to 34 percent”, adding that 11 percent of those polled had no opinion on the issue.

The poll was conducted on 27-28 October before Hurricane Sandy swept the US East Coast, leaving at least 50 dead and causing damage worth some 20 billion USD. Obama cancelled campaign events scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, focusing instead on relief measures before the hurricane, whose path ran though several tightly contested election swing states, including North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. According to political experts, the move is likely to win additional votes for Obama on Election Day. The 27-28 October Gallup tracking survey was based on telephone interviews with a random sample of 1,063 adults aged 18 and older in all 50 American states.

Democrat Biden Wins Clear-Cut Victory in Vice-Presidential Debates

______________________________

According to a CBS poll, Democrat Joseph Biden won a clear-cut victory in yesterday’s American vice-presidential debates; Biden polled 50 percent of the audience’s votes, whilst his rival, Republican Paul Ryan, got a mere 31 percent of the votes. However, according to CNN, Paul Ryan won by a narrow margin. This prompted the internet community to level scathing criticism at CNN. More than 100 commenters on the CNN website questioned the veracity of the CNN poll returns. Most site users are certain that Biden, beyond any doubt, won the debates.

Editor’s Note:

There’s a reason why the polls differed. CBS is an “over-the-air” network and CNN’s a “cable-only” channel. Therefore, the CNN audience is more affluent, whiter, and more suburban. Is it any surprise that Ryan won their poll, then? This gives us a hint as to November. The Prez will win because the Republicans have pissed off moderate- and lower-income Americans (except for sectarian religious nutters in the American South and Mormonia). The GOP is barrelling “full steam ahead” for the abyss… whilst Romney cackles in moronic glee. It won’t be pretty…

Obama Ahead in the Polls

The situation hasn’t changed much… which is BAD NEWS for Willy

______________________________

US President Barack Obama has a 5 percent advantage in the polls over Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Currently, Obama has the support of 48% of voters whilst his rival has 43 percent according to the results of a Reuters /Ipsos poll. Obama has led the polls since 7 September. Ipsos expert Julia Clark said, “At first, one could explain this by his growth in popularity after the Democratic convention”. Over the last seven days, Obama’s position hasn’t changed, whilst Romney’s popularity declined, in connection with the publication of a video where the Republican contender compared recipients of state benefits to freeloaders. According to experts, Obama has a 70 to 80 percent chance of retaining the White House.
