Recently, something happened to me that I feel must be passed on to the greater community out there on the internet. I made the mistake of replying to a gasbag on their website in the “comments” section. Well… after I had wrote it, I thought better of wasting my time and energy and hit the “delete” button on the comment. I thought that that would be the end of it.
Well… it wasn’t. Apparently, there is a way to retrieve “deleted” comments and this putz decided to post my comment anyway with his snide commentary. Firstly, I don’t know how to retrieve trashed comments, and I wouldn’t post them in any case, for the author didn’t wish them publicised. Apparently, such a concept was beyond the comprehension of this individual. Funny… it was one of those semi-Proddie Modernist Orthodox who calls everyone “brother” and “sister”… Chukcha says, “See what they do, not what they say… however… the bigger the promise, the smaller the reality”. How true, Chuk!
So… NEVER be tempted to comment on websites of the noxious and toxic… apparently, they can fish your deleted comments out of the trash and use them against you. In this case, it was a scumball who calls himself Romanos… his website is entitled Cost of Discipleship… don’t ever be tempted to reply to his rambling cant when you see it… it is MUCH more trouble than it is worth!
God has His ways of teaching… OUCH! They DO hurt at times… but, that’s the only way we hardened old sinners learn, isn’t it?
