THIS is what the GOP wants to do with America’s future… throw all our money down the toilet of the military-industrial complex and tax the working folks so the rich don’t pay anything… after all, what did Leona Helmsley say? “Only the little people pay taxes”. That’s the motto of Boehner and McConnell… never forget it. What would Ike say of these two charlatan poseurs?

Let’s keep this simple. The wars eat up our money. The tax cuts for the rich made it impossible to pay for the wars, even though the rich were the only sector of society to “benefit” from the situation. Let’s put the ball squarely in the court of the baggers, people. Here’s the proposal. Do you want to cut the deficit and “shrink government?” The only way to do that is to end these two mindless and pointless wars. Note well that loudmouthed special interest shills such as Boehner and McConnell won’t do it… they blame the deficit on “social programmes”.
Bush’s war in Iraq destroyed one of the last remaining Christian communities in the Middle East. Arab-American Christians had always said… “Remove Saddam and our people are under the gun”. That will be the main legacy of Bush, Cheney, and the GOP war-pigs in Iraq… the decimation of a once flourishing and vibrant Arab Christian community (of course, these Christians were Catholics and Orthodox… that meant that American Sectarians didn’t consider them Christians!).
Bush’s war in Afghanistan led to a Taliban-Lite Islamofascist state… the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. It’s known for women immolating themselves, rampant drug production, prosecuting people who convert to Christianity, and the exploitive use of child labour. That’s what we are defending and that’s the legacy of the GOP in the Hindu Kush.
Do want to shrink the deficit? End the wars, full stop. There’s no other way…
