What, me worry? Uncle Rush and Uncle Glenn will get me out of any trouble… they said so!

Again, we don’t have any money. We can’t make a good faith effort to negotiate when we don’t have any money.
LIAR! There’s no money because the Republicans took an existing surplus and gave it ALL away to their fatcat backers. Every penny of Wisconsin’s surplus went to lunatic notional GOP programmes. Mr Walker PISSED on the taxpayers of Wisconsin, laughed manically, and he’s vowed to do MORE.
These are the actions of a college dropout, a former high-pressure salesman… a man with no qualifications for higher office. He won election because the more flighty members of the electorate wanted to “punish” incumbent officeholders for the current economic mess. Earth to voters! The pols didn’t cause the crisis… the bankers did, and if any pols “enabled” the bankers, it was the Republican Party, with its shredding of financial regulations. In other words, a vote for the Republican Party was a vote for the party responsible for setting up the conditions for the meltdown in the first place.
Furthermore, Scott Walker is acting like a snot-nosed kid who’s still crappin’ in his nappies. The Animal House gang would’ve handled this whole situation better. Firstly, if one encounters stiff opposition, you draw back; you regroup your forces, and recce the situation. This tells me that Scott Fitzgerald was a phoney REMF, not a real warrior, when he was in the forces (he wasn’t a real officer, he was only in the reserves, so, perhaps, I should be kind to him). If he were a real upfront officer, he would’ve told Walker to pull back (explaining that the gains later would offset the slight loss at first). NO! Fitzgerald claimed, “Walker was sending a message”. This is the political equivalent of the French Plan XVII at the outbreak of World War I. For them not in the know, French poilus in bright red trousers made frontal assaults on the German fortified lines in Alsace-Lorraine (or, Elsass-Lothringen, you pays your money, and you makes your choice). They died in droves, cut down by German machine guns. At the same time, the German right wing smashed through Belgium and Artois, the French only stopped them on the Marne (right before Paris) because saner heads terminated the Alsace offensive and transferred troops to the endangered front.
If Scott Walker is to salvage anything out of this, he has to put the Wisconsin legislature on holiday for three months. This will cool down the present situation, which has spiralled out of his control. He’s NOT going to do this… as out-of-state fanatics are pulling his strings. Look at the stupid remark that he made in public:
I think the President of the United States has his hands full balancing the federal budget deficit. They have big problems there. He should stick to balancing the federal budget.
He should’ve refrained from bringing undue attention to himself. That tells me that he’s immature and without seasoning. He’s telling the President of the USA that he has no right to be concerned about a crisis in one of the states of the union! This isn’t courageous… it’s as dumb as dirt. Scott Walker is a typical high-pressure salesman… no brains, plenty of gall. Remember… he’s a dropout and “chicken hawk”… that speaks volumes about him (Rush Limboob and Glenn Beck are both dropouts and “chicken hawks” too… no surprise, is it?).
Look at the GOOD side of this. It forces the national GOP to come out in total support of this gibbering jaboney and his crew of Special Ed Don Quixotes (but there’s no Sancho Panza to pull them out of trouble)… Walker is tilting at windmills… he should be making a tactical retreat, keeping his mouth shut, and working on Plan B. Trust me, the President of the USA shall intervene at some point or another, and he’ll look PRESIDENTIAL. Walker will just look stupid. This is shaping up to be one of the major defeats of the Tea Party, all because they’re immature brats with no sense of restraint or any ability to learn from their mistakes.
At least, Walker’s no longer talking about the National Guard… perhaps, saner heads have prevailed on him. After all, these troops are the neighbours of the protesters. It would lead to the troops refusing to fire on the crowds, just as happened in Moscow and Cairo. If that happened, Barack Obama would step in, look VERY statesmanlike, and Scott Wilson would look like Joe Miller. In fact, the way the situation is evolving, there’s no way that Walker can win in the end. His best bet would be to, as I said, furlough the legislature, let the crowds disperse, and, most importantly, KEEP HIS BIG MOUTH SHUT. The fact that he won’t keep silent shows his fundamental unworthiness as a leader. He’s a reckless showboater who’s playing for all the media attention that he can get.
The Republican Party shall pay dearly for not restraining this idiot. This was the first skirmish in the 2012 campaign… and the GOP conceded it to the Democrats. However, this was only the first round… we should be more circumspect, ourselves. Remember… snitches and ratfinks abound in every workplace. Keep your wits about yourself. It’s going to be an interesting 20 months…
