8 June 2011. Which Side Are YOU On? A Tale of Two Pictures…

Here is the world of the Tea Party… of G W Bush, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter, Bill O’Reilly, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Tim Pawlenty, and Michele Malkin (and all the other sludge who write for the Washington Times). “Might Makes Right”… “Think and Grow Rich”… Ayn Rand and Napoleon Hill… this is the REALITY behind the rightwing rhetoric (to think that there are American Orthodox churchmen who APPROVE of this filthy and demonic ideology). By the way, that’s money stolen from YOU (in the form of reduced wages and NO benefits) that he’s putting in his pocket. What should we do in response?

STRIKE BACK! We’ll have only ourelves to blame if the Neofascist Neoliberal scummers implement their New World Order (did you notice how the Corporatists and the Fascists used IDENTICAL terminology?) and crack their whip over us. It’ll be a world of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich… but only if we’re supine and are PASSIVE. Remember… “Evil triumphed because the good did nothing”… let that NOT be our epitaph…

8 June 2011. A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words… A Vet Cries for His Dead Friends… THIS is Truth

In this photo, British vet Gordon Smith went to Arromanches-les-Bains (Département du Calvados. Région Basse-Normandie) FRANCE for the 67th Anniversary of the D-Day landing on the French coast to open the Second Front against the Hitlerite occupiers of Europe. He wept for his fallen friends… as any decent human being would do. You can throw all the draft-dodging rightwing scummers such as Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, and Cheney into the balance on one side, and they wouldn’t have the moral weight of ONE of the vets of the Great Crusade against Hitler’s New World Order… the vets “saw the elephant”, did what they had to, and carried things through to the finish, unlike certain politicians from Alaska I could mention.

These men are our treasure… respect them… they won’t be with us much longer. Say, “Thank you, dad, for making our lives possible”. It’s the least that we can do…
