Patriarch Kirill Declared 12 July a Day of Mourning for the Dead of the “Bulgariya” Sinking… All Parishes of the MP will Serve Pannikhidas for the Victims

Deacon Aleksandr Volkov, the deputy head of the Patriarchal Press Service, told our Interfax-Religion correspondent, “As Tuesday’s been declared a day of mourning in Russia, all MP parishes will serve Pannikhidas for the victims of the Bulgariya disaster. His Holiness the Patriarch urged the clergy of the Diocese of Kazan to do whatever they could to aid the victims, and the entire MP will help the Diocese of Kazan to provide whatever spiritual and material assistance the victims need”. On Sunday, the Bulgariya sank in the Kuibyshev Reservoir, near the village of Kama-Syukeyevo in Kamsko-Ustyinsky Raion of the Tatarstan Republic. There were about 200 people on board, but only some 80 people survived.

12 July 2011. Cisco Revenues Up 11 Percent… They’re Going to Cut 14 Percent of Workforce to “Revive Profit Growth”

Let’s see… revenues are up… let’s slash employees to maximise profits… what’s wrong with that picture?

Read this:

Note this:

The pending job cuts “will help right the ship” and achieve a reduction in operating expenses by about 1 billion USD (28.4 billion Roubles. 720 million Euros. 630 million UK Pounds) annually, Marshall said in a note to clients. Cisco would also need to lower its long-term revenue growth target to about 10 percent from a forecast of 12 percent to 17 percent, Marshall said. Cisco’s revenue has increased 11 percent over the past five calendar years.

What’s wrong with this picture? Revenues are UP, yet the decrease in employees at Cisco is even deeper than the gain in revenue. I’ll tell you what’s happening… the Five Percenters are stealing more than their fair share via inflated salaries, bonuses, and stock deals. Yes, sir… they feel that they DESERVE it. Why, it’s nothing but another South Seas Bubble on the verge of popping. If this isn’t August 1788 or August 1916, I don’t know what it is. It’s a fin de siècle era… it’s not the harbinger of the End Times, as lunatic Sectarians believe. The Five Percenters believe that the band shall play on indefinitely… yet, history teaches us that if one thinks so, the tumbrels are not long in arriving. God do spare us that…
