DO read it… it’s good for shits and giggles. Did you see the part entitled, “Sexual Abuse of Children?” JP can write about that with authority… the ROCOR Holy Synod defrocked his guru, Gleb Podmoshensky, for nasty doings with kids. Paffhausen stayed loyal to him through thin n’ thin (even after the ROCOR gave GP le sabot), as did his pals Eliel, Brum, and Christiansen. Hey, JP, what’s the truth about you, Brum, and Eliel? Marilyn’s been around since Adam, so, she knows all about JP’s intimate relationship with the poofter Podmoshensky. Hey, I’d rather have an open V Gene Robinson than the closeted fagorama in the upper reaches of the OCA. What about Feodosy’s Neon Chicken escapades, JP? You DID concelebrate with Feodosy Lazor, after all.

Well… I did think that it’d become MORE confusing in the end… so it is. We don’t know where Dickie is… Fathausen refuses to speak on anything in public… Dickie’s lawyer threatens a lawsuit… Alexander Webster tries to knife Mark Stokoe in the back… Stokoe’s not responding to the attacks upon him… darling Marilyn’s acting as JP’s sock puppet. All we need to put the cherry on the sundae is for Moriak to try to overturn Bishop Job’s oikonomia in re Mark (Moriak isn’t half the man that Job Osacky was… he’s too weak).

I’m not going to go on and on concerning this (if you want the gory details, do read them in the above links)… I want you to note this scabrous assertion, in particular:

“We have feminised the Medal of Honor” by awarding it to a soldier who saved his fellow combatants rather than killing enemies…

That came from the chief spokesman of the American Family Association, Bryan Fischer, the Director of Issues Analysis for Government and Public Policy, and host of its flagship radio show Focal Point. I decided to see if ANY conscientious objector had earned the Medal of Honor. I’m glad to say that I not only found one, but THREE such recipients. Here they are:

• PFC Desmond Thomas Doss, US Army (1919-2006) (Alabama). He was a company aid man who earned his decoration at the Battle of Okinawa in World War II… “PFC Doss saved the lives of many soldiers. His name became a symbol throughout the 77th Infantry Division for outstanding gallantry far above and beyond the call of duty”.
• SPC4 Joseph Guy LaPointe, Jr, US Army (1948-69) (Ohio). He was a combat medic killed in action in Vietnam; he shielded the wounded from enemy fire with his own body. “LaPointe’s courageous actions at the cost of his life were an inspiration to his comrades. His gallantry and selflessness are in the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit on him, his unit, and the US Army”.
• CPL Thomas William Bennett, US Army (1947-69) (West Virginia). He was a combat medic killed in action in Vietnam; he was attempting to reach another soldier wounded by a sniper. “CPL Bennett’s undaunted concern for his comrades at the cost of his life, above and beyond the call of duty, are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the US Army”.

Eat shit and die, rightwingers. This is too much of a muchness. I just can’t go on (doesn’t their selfless bravery move you to tears?)… I’m that angered (doesn’t the obtuseness of Perry & Co move you to reach for the AK and RPG?). How anyone can believe the lunacy spouted  by Perry and his pals (and Rush, and Sarah, and Sean, and Michelle, et al) is beyond me. I’ll ya what… when I get to Heaven… I KNOW that I’m going to find these three stand-up guys there. As for Rick Perry and that bunch of gibbering losers at his “prayer rally”… the less said, the better (I think that they’re going to be in a FAR warmer place for eternity). We Orthodox shouldn’t EVER associate with such godless inhuman grasping bozos. What did Our Lord Christ say? He said this:

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

7 August 2011. Breaking News Update… l’Affaire Wood Chugs Merrily Along… Dickie Threatens Lawsuit

“Oyez! Oyez! All those with business before this honourable court, please, step forward! … Oh, shit! It’s the OCA… AGAIN! What’s it this time? Is it a paedophile bishop… or is it a blabbermouth priest… or is it “missing” financial records? It’s something else? Well… it’s certainly not boring with you guys in my court!”

Well, kids, it’s not much, but it’s NEWS… Dickie’s lawyer (Vlad Berzansky Jr?) called the OCA to say that if they don’t reinstate him after he leaves hospital he’ll sue them. We still don’t know where Dickie is, and Syosset and JP refuse to issue even a purported reason for his “leave of absence” (there’s been ten days of official silence!). This is incredible… simply mind-numbing. As a friend of mine who’s a former parish warden in the TEC said, “That’s simply NOT DONE. They’d all be out, without hesitation or qualm. You don’t refuse to give a reason for your actions”. THIS is the practical upshot of the so-called “Brum Doctrine”… Mr Brum (an old pal of JP’s, by the way) wrote that the Metropolitan of the OCA is an absolutist dictator not bound by the Sobor, Holy Synod, MC, or canon laws/customary usages. JP follows that route, kids… he believes that he’s “entitled”… God do help us. It’s time for Mel Pleska and the Holy Synod to act… it’s time to defrock JP for incompetence, if nothing else. He’s refused to give a reason for his action, and he’s refused to disclose Dickie’s whereabouts (or, if he doesn’t know them, he should say so, publicly). The sheer stupidity of this is that the Winnipeg magistrate is watching this unfold. The OCA’s credibility, which was already in the toilet, has now sunk even further. If the OCA is to retain even the slightest semblance of integrity and authority, it must defrock Fathausen, and that’s that. Shall it? Only time will tell us…

I hope it happens… imagine the testimony… get those freaks on the stand under oath, and watch them throw each other under the bus. They made a deal with Bobby so that wouldn’t happen… this is getting good!

Unfortunately, it isn’t a soap opera (As the Icon Burns), but it’s real life… it’s time for the remaining grownups to whack the kids on the backside and put ’em to bed. Otherwise, they’ll be NO OCA… and in very short order, too. It’s time for the Holy Synod to defrock El Gordo, Dickie, Jensen, Tate (and all the other HOOMie poseurs), Eliel, Peterson, and Brum… do a clean sweep! Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say!
