An informed source told me that Archbishop Melchisedek Pleska was admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon, Thursday 11 August 2011. He may have surgery later today; we know that Dr Wusylko had treated him for a hernia condition. There’s no further solid information on the situation… do note that oca.org, the Slowpoke Rodríguez of official websites, posted nothing on this. They can’t even tell you about ordinary news, let alone anything controversial. What with modern technology, that’s unconscionable.

Pray for Vladyki Mel’s recovery… he’s the only OCA hierarch with any cred left. May God watch over him…
