21 This Just In… Fathausen Going to Prague on Tuesday for Anniversary

Don’t Start a New Job without Reading the Instructions

Soviet-era Poster

One of the cardinal rules for a bishop is, “Show respect to the people by keeping them informed of your doings in a timely and forthright manner”. I note that JP doesn’t do that. I think he’s caught something in the works, and it’s not his finger…

An informant sent me this:

On Tuesday, JP’s going to Prague with Benjamin Peterson and Tosi for Metropolitan Kryštof Pulec’s fifth anniversary.  JP can’t go to the main celebration because Bart’s coming, so he wouldn’t be able to serve. It’s said that Peterson’s going along to keep an eye on him.

Well, well, well, El Gordo’s going to be out of the country, and oca.org didn’t deign to tell you about it. Decent bishops post their itineraries for the next 30 days on their websites. Fathausen is one of the most secretive SOBs ever to have worn a riassa. Note well that the konvertsy all slobber over him, especially Dreher, Mattingly, Darlin’ Marilyn, Freddie M-G, and the Coneheads down in Dallas.

It’s getting curiouser and curiouser… what’s next? Dickie popping up in Prague to kiss El Gordo’s (rather ample) bum? Stay tuned…

21 August 2011. Dickie Wood was NOT Ill Per the Original oca.org Post… I Advise All Comers to Beware the Lawyers Involved in This Affair…

The OCA is going down… confusion reigns… who shall bell the cat, though?

As of 20.15 EDT Sunday 21 August 2011, there was no word on either oca.org or ocanews.org confirming or denying the story on pravmir.ru concerning Dickie Wood’s restoration to active ministry. It’s instructive to revisit the original 28 July oca.org post on the matter. This is what was up on 20.15 EDT today on oca.org:

Dean of St Catherine’s on Leave of Absence

Archimandrite Zacchaeus Wood, Dean of St. Catherine the Great Martyr-in-the-Fields Church in Moscow and representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia has been placed on a leave of absence and recalled to the United States by His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah. He is prohibited from exercising any liturgical or sacramental ministry. Priest John Kechkin, who is attached to St. Catherine Church, will provide pastoral services for the time being.  Archpriest Leonid Kishkovsky, Director of External Affairs of the Orthodox Church in America, will assume duties as the representative of the OCA to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

28 July 2011

There it is… there was NO mention of illness. I’ll be utterly frank with all of you. A while ago, Nina Dimas attempted to pass some of Dickie’s propaganda off to me (I did NOT give her my e-mail; she got it through either a complaisant or unwitting third party). I’ve retained the original e-mail, of course. SOMEONE wants to whitewash this; ergo, I’ve saved a copy of the above oca.org post. Nina Dimas is part of the Syosset/SVS coterie… so, I’m warning all of you. Please, be careful! Keep all copies of all e-mails! I’d warn the Winnipeg magistrate in the Storheim case, in particular, that some of the people involved in this affair are rather nasty and unscrupulous. I’d caution the Canadian authorities to be especially wary of the OCA’s lawyers… they’re not particularly nice people (they can’t prosecute me for saying that… I would refer the Winnipeg magistrate to the Koumentakos and Iliff cases (“We admit no wrongdoing”)). I’ll add that, as of 20.15 EDT Sunday 21 August 2011, Dickie wasn’t on the clergy listing on oca.org, not under “W”, not under “stavropegial institutions, not under “Archdiocese of Washington” (but Ray Velencia is still listed under “Archdiocese of Washington”… what gives?).

We must stand against the lies. We must stand against them NOW. There must be NO MORE Kristi Koumentakos-style muggings of ordinary Orthodox laity. There must be NO MORE cover-ups à la Eric Iliff. Ray Velencia suffered no disciplinary action for his contumacious actions against Kristi Koumentakos (the OCA allowed him to skedaddle off to the GOAA under murky circumstances). John Erickson suffered no ill-effects for his cover-up of l’Affaire Iliff (note well that one of the konvertsy smarkaczy, Oliver Herbel, just slobbers over Erickson… birds of a feather…).

A friend of mine wrote me:

This gets stranger and crazier… what a bunch of ignorant pigs. The OCA converts just prattle on and on about how brave JP is, and how he’s being persecuted.

That’s how cult members behave. I’ll be blunt… we made a colossal error bringing in the HOOMies and receiving loopy “High Church” Anglicans. I don’t know who’s worse. An informant (some of my best sources aren’t “Russian”; hell, some aren’t even Orthodox) wrote me:

By the same token, [Paffhausen] shouldn’t have accepted an honorary degree from an Anglo-Catholic seminary. After all, everyone knows that the number of homosexuals in the orbit of Anglo-Catholic clergy has historically been exorbitant! That’s why the Church of Ireland was the first to rise up against the gay movement in the Anglican Communion. All Ireland’s solidly Low Church; my family was always Low Church. What people say is, “The High Church is hidden popery”, and “We need no bells and smells”.

There’s a lot of good information from non-Orthodox sources out there! Note well that JP and Chad Hatfield schmooze with the most homosexual-ridden faction in Anglicanism. In addition, there’s been noise from konvertsy ignoranuses in Stokoe’s comboxes about the OCA dropping relations with the TEC… it hasn’t… to wit:

Nashotah House is an institution of the TEC… Fathausen received a degree from this heretic conventicle… Hatfield spoke at its convocation…. that means that relations with the TEC weren’t broken. All too many konvertsy show a cult-like disregard of the truth… I’d advise the Winnipeg magistrate to distrust all testimony given by OCA converts.

For all that’s holy… be careful of the lawyers involved in this case… especially, those who’re representing Mr Wood. There’s a vested interest in making this “disappear” on the part of some parties. I’m going to continue to speak out with prudence… my very visibility protects me (if I stay within certain limits). However, I warn all others to be careful of anyone with a link to Paffhausen, Wood, Tate, Moriak, Stokoe, Lyonyo, or any First Family clergy (both OCA and ROCOR). I’m not jesting or joking. Stokoe is on the list for a reason… both he and JP are autocephalist fanatics, and I’ve seen odder alliances when the shit hit the fan. Above all… keep strong. Remember John and Monica Iliff. If you give in to Paffhausen’s minions, you spit on them. Remember Kristi Koumentakos. If you buy JP’s tired lies, you piss on her, yet again. It’s time for us to take our Church back. It won’t be easy. However, to quote Winston Churchill:

For my own part, I have always felt that a politician’s to be judged by the animosities that he excites amongst his opponents. I’ve always set myself not merely to relish, but to deserve thoroughly, their censure. …

What’s the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we’re gone? How else can we put ourselves in harmonious relation with the great verities and consolations of the infinite and the eternal? I avow my faith that we are marching towards better days. Humanity will not be cast down. …

The truth is incontrovertible. Panic may resent it, ignorance may deride it, malice may distort it, but there it is.

I’m game! Are you? If so, take my hand, and let’s get on with it! Let’s end this with a paraphrase from Winnie:

I’ve nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. We must struggle with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us to struggle against a monstrous tyranny. What’s our aim? I can answer in one word… victory… victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be… for without victory, there’s no survival.

Memory Eternal to Eric… I bow before John and Monica… KEEP THE FAITH… IN THE NAME OF LIFE!

21 August 2011. WOOD BACK! NO Explanation on OCA Official Site or on Stokoe

Archimandrite Zacchaeus Wood Served Liturgy at St Catherine in the Fields Church in Moscow

On Sunday, 21 August, Archimandrite Zacchaeus Wood served Divine Liturgy at St Catherine in the Fields parish (OCA Representation Church in Moscow). Fr Zacchaeus claimed in remarks after liturgy that Metropolitan Jonas Paffhausen blessed his serving the sacraments. Currently, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, after prolonged treatment in hospital, is recovering in a sanatorium near Moscow.

Православие и мир (Pravoslavie i mir:Orthodoxy and the World)

Editor’s Note:

There’s no official announcement of Wood’s rehabilitation on the OCA official website, nor is there anything on Stokoe’s site. Did this actually occur? I can’t say… but it’s on a website that Archimandrite Tikhon Shevkunov heavily influences. I’ve never noticed crank reporting on the Russian side before… there’s been such on the English-language side, but that’s because Dickie had his finger in that. Again… there’s NO official announcement on oca.org… Stokoe has said nothing on his site, either (as of 13.30 EDT Sunday 21 August 2011). If this is true, hoo boy, are those schmidiots going to have something up post-haste. Well, guys, you’re supposed to have the official explanation up BEFORE the fact, not AFTER it. It proves without a doubt that the upper reaches of the OCA don’t know what they’re doing and that JP’s lost his grip on things. There was no reason given for Dickie’s dismissal… there’s going to be no reason given for his reinstatement, if that’s what this news means. Trust me; they have that much disrespect for you. JP tangled with Vlad Berzansky… never a good idea. The world is going on its crank merry way, isn’t it… pass me the jug… the fireworks are just beginning, kids…

21 August 2011. Heroes and Villains Revisited… If You Show Me Whom You Respect, You’ll Show Me Your True Character

The Order of the Red Banner, one of the highest awards in the USSR

Here’s a real heroine, Guards Colonel Yevdokiya Nikolaevna Zavaly (she fought with the Naval Infantry during the VOV):

Yevdokiya Nikolaevna was only 15 at the time of the Fascist invasion, but when the aggressors came to her home region of Nikolayev, she lied about her age, and joined the army as a combat medic. Later, after she was wounded, through a mix-up, she received orders to a Naval Infantry unit. For eight months, she fought as a man, until she was “found out” when she was wounded again. The higher command allowed her to remain as a combat soldier, and she became the only woman to command Naval Infantry troops in battle during the VOV. As a platoon commander, she fought at Sevastopol (where she won the Order of the Patriotic War, First Class), the Dniester estuary, Bessarabia, the Constanta (Romania) landing, Varna and Burgas in Bulgaria, and Yugoslavia. Her final battle was at Budapest in Hungary, where she led her platoon through the sewers to capture a German command bunker. The German general was shamed to find out that his captor was a woman. This exploit led to the high command decorating her with the Order of the Red Banner.

In Kiev, she met her future husband, got married. She bore two children, she had four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She found a job as a manager of a deli. Yevdokiya Nikolaevna kept active in youth work; she went to many cities, military units, and naval ships telling the story of her time as a Naval Infantry platoon commander. In 2009 alone, she participated in more than 130 events in the Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova. Yevdokiya Nikolaevna died on 5 May 2010 in Kiev, just four days shy of Victory Day.

Here’s another heroine, Yekaterina Illarionovna Demina:

Yekaterina Illarionovna Demina (maiden name Mikhailova) was going to Brest on vacation with her brother-pilot. The train was bombed, and they had to walk to Smolensk. She lied about her age, adding two years, and signed up in the Red Army. At Gzhatsk, she received a severe wound in the leg. After recovering, she served on a hospital vessel, being promoted to chief petty officer. After the Battle of Stalingrad, at her request, she became a combat medical orderly in a scout unit in a Naval Infantry battalion. She took part in battles in the Caucasus and the Crimea, the Black and Azov Seas, the Dniester and the Danube, liberating Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia and Austria, being wounded three times. In December 1944, at the battle for the Ilok fortress on the Hungarian-Yugoslavian border, Katya was severely wounded. After recovering, she returned to duty, and was in Vienna for Victory Day on 9 May 1945. After the war, she graduated from the Second Leningrad Medical Institute. For 36 years, until her retirement in 1985, she was the head doctor at the Minatom Special Laboratory in Elektrostal, then in Moscow. For courage and heroism during the war, Yekaterina Illarionovna received many awards and medals, including two Orders of the Red Banner and the Order of Patriotic War First Class. In 1990, on the 45th anniversary of the Great Victory, the President of the USSR named her a Hero of the Soviet Union for her heroism in the fight against the Nazi invaders. She married, had a son, and two granddaughters.

I respect those people! They stood up for what they believed, and they were willing to put their lives on the line for it. They fought for the Red Banner, the ideals of Socialism, and their native motherland… they were willing to spill their blood for it. All decent people would respect them, even if they didn’t agree with them. Yes, Virginia… they showed that “Socialists” have grit and courage…

I’m NOT going to give any images of the following people… they’re unworthy of the respect of any decent individual; I’m simply going to list them and their service to their country…

  • GEORGE W BUSH… Refused to serve in the active forces, used daddy’s pull to stay at home in the National Guard
  • DAN QUAYLE… Refused to serve in the active forces, used daddy’s pull to stay at home in the National Guard
  • DICK CHENEY… Refused to serve in the forces at all, “I had other priorities in the ’60s than military service”
  • NEWT GINGRICH… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • SARAH PALIN… Never served in the forces
  • GEORGE WEIGEL… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • MICHELE BACHMANN… Never served in the forces
  • RUSH LIMBAUGH… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • GLENN BECK… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • SEAN HANNITY… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • BILL O’REILLY… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • PAT BUCHANAN… Refused to serve in the active forces (he did attend ROTC classes)… used “pull” to finagle a 4-F (he was an avid jogger… if that isn’t fishy)
  • SCOTT WALKER… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • PAUL RYAN… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • RAND PAUL… Refused to serve in the forces at all (but he did “settle” in a malpractice case… great MD, huh?)
  • REINHOLD REINCE PRIEBUS (RNC Chairman)… Refused to serve in the forces at all
  • MICHAEL SAVAGE (MICHAEL ALAN WEINER)… Refused to serve in the forces at all

I think that you see the common thread in all of this. These greedy, grasping, warmongering apologists for the oligarchs refused to put it on the line for their country, yet, to hear them tell it, they’re the acme of patriotism and service. Excuse me whilst I hurl! No one who has respect for any of these posturing POS charlatans should have the goddamned gall to lecture decent people (an aside to Orthodox people: I’m thinking of five loudmouthed clergymen in particular (three in the District, one in California, and one in Texas)… I think that you know who I mean). There’s no need to go on and on, is there? I don’t wrap myself in the flag, nor do I paint myself out to be an especially-assiduous patriot (as all the above-named do).

Oh. One last thing… Rick Perry washed out as a USAF combat pilot, he was only a REMF C130 driver (mostly, this billet goes to second-tier individuals), and he never held a command position. Michael Savage should keep his big ignorant mouth shut (especially as Mr Savage is one of the “refused to serve in the forces at all” crowd) about Perry’s military expertise… the military never trusted Perry with a responsible command… and that’s the real deal.

Those who respect any of those named in the “rogues’ gallery” above tell the world that character doesn’t matter to them (it speaks volumes of the rightwing, doesn’t it?). You can respect heroes… or, you can respect hypocritical pukes. I prefer to do the former… what about you?
