Here’s the OCA… it’s lost its way. It follows rightwing Pied Pipers, not Christ. In order to heal, we must burn out the cancer… all of it. The coddling of clerical malefactors has to end. If it doesn’t, it’ll be the end of us… and no amount of screaming by Lebedeff or Karlgut will salvage it. Shall we do it, though? THAT’S the question…

Read this. Note this:
[There’s] a truly astonishing lack of concern about sexual violence. This last is old news, unfortunately… sexual assaults by athletes are regularly covered up or lightly punished by administrations, even in high school, and society really doesn’t care all that much. A federal appeals court declared that a Texas cheerleader could be kicked off the squad (and made to contribute to the school’s legal costs) for refusing to cheer her rapist when he took the field… and he’d pleaded guilty to misdemeanour assault too, so why was he even still playing? According to USA Today, an athlete accused of a sex crime has a very good chance of getting away with it. If Sandusky had abused little girls, let alone teenage or adult women, would he be in trouble today? Or would we say, like the neighbours of an 11-year-old gang-raped in Cleveland TX, that she was asking for it?
THIS is what’s infesting the general society. One of the worst areas of the country for “enabling” sexual offenders is Texas. It’s another pleasant little wrinkle in the Lone Star State, along with the “right” to carry concealed weapons damn near everywhere, parsimony towards education that would shock Scrooge, a free n’ easy attitude towards the death penalty, school textbooks that tout Creationism instead of real science, and predatory pro-business labour laws that are worse than no regulations at all. Is it coincidental that JP’s loudest supporters (the Coneheads, Dreher, and “OCA Truth”) come from that state? After all, the general culture’s crook, so, if they’re infected, it’s not surprising in the least. Reflect on this… Paffhausen makes a LOUD pretence of his opposition to the gay agenda. Yet, his mentor Dmitri Royster built his cathedral in the heart of the gay community in Dallas… and the stories about Royster just won’t die (they even reached the Centre, I’m told, which led to their veto of him for the white hat). I think that Paffhausen is using his anti-gay supporters as camouflage, and they’re too dirt-dumb to figure it out. He wants the ACCUSERS in the Storheim case to be punished! Thank God, the case is in Canada, not Texas… if it were in Dallas, Fathausen would probably get away with having the accusers railroaded and punished. That’s something to think about…
