The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

London Olympic Stadium holds 80,000 people. This blog was viewed about 1,300,000 times in 2011. If it were competing at London Olympic Stadium, it would take about 16 sold-out events for that many people to see it.

In accordance with paragraph 17 of section IV of the Statute on the Administration of the UOC/MP, which indicates, “If the Metropolitan of Kiev and all the Ukraine, for whatever reason, is temporarily unable to perform the duties of chairman of the Holy Synod, the most senior bishop by date of ordination shall do so”, Metropolitan Agafangel Savvin of Odessa and Izmail acted as the chairman of the meeting. Metropolitan Ioanniky Kobzyov of Lugansk and Alchevsk, Metropolitan Onufry Berezovsky of Chernovtsy and all Bukovina, Metropolitan Ilarion Shukalo of Donetsk and Mariupol, Metropolitan Pavel Lebed of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl (Superior of the Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra, Vicar of the Diocese of Kiev), Metropolitan Lazar Shvets of Simferopol and all the Crimea, Archbishop Mitrofan Yurchuk of Belaya Tserkov and Boguslav (Chancellor of the UOC/MP), Archbishop Aleksandr Drabinko of Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky and Vishnevsk (Chairman of the UOC/MP DECR, Vicar of the Diocese of Kiev), Archbishop Amvrossy Polikopa of Chernigov and Novgorod-Seversky, Bishop Yelisei Ivanov of Berdyansk and the Primorsky, and Bishop Nikodim Gorenko of Zhitomir and Novograd-Volynsky also took part in the meeting.

To coordinate the financial activities of the Metropolia of Kiev, the Synod established an Audit Commission, headed by Metropolitan Pavel Lebed of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl. The temporary administration of the Diocese of Kiev during the duration of the incapacity of His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir will fall under the responsibility of a commission composed of Archbishop Aleksandr Drabinko of Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky and Vishnevsk, Bishop Seraphim Demyanov of Yagotin (Vicar of the Diocese of Kiev), and Bishop Panteleimon Povoroznyuk of Vasilkov (Vicar of the Diocese of Kiev). The Commission will report to the Presiding Officer of the UOC/MP Holy Synod, Metropolitan Agafangel Savvin of Odessa and Izmail.

The Synod entrusted the administration of the Kiev Theological Academy and Seminary to Archbishop Antony Pakanich of Borispol (Rector of the KDA, Vicar of the Diocese of Kiev) and it entrusted the care of the Holy Dormition Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra to Metropolitan Pavel Lebed of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl, its current superior. All superiors of stavropegial monasteries and convents shall coordinate their actions with the Presiding Officer of the UOC/MP. The Synod also considered and endorsed the work of the Synod of departments and agencies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in 2011.
