Kiev is “the Mother of all Russian Cities”,  NOT the “Mother of all Ukrainian Cities”. Don’t forget, “Ukrainian nationalists” were by-and-large willing collaborators with the Nazis (this was especially true of Galician Uniates, “Ukrainian Catholics“) during the VOV. After ’91, they were willing lickspittles of the Americans… they ran some of the secret torture facilities for the Bushies.  Bear that in mind when you hear cries of “hate speech” from that crowd. They were willing running-dogs of the various occupying foreign powers in Little Russia… that was true under the First Polish Rzeczpospolita, the Habsburgs, the Second Polish Rzeczpospolita, the Nazi occupation, and the American Dark Age after ’91. On the contrary, Carpatho-Russians (the po-nashemu people) were patriots and fought for the idea of one Holy Rus. They still fight for it today… the blood of St Maksim Sandovich (the Protomartyr of the Lemkovshchyna) testifies to it… I wonder… do the Uniates venerate St Maksim? If not, they’re not “Orthodox in union with Rome!”

CRASH! go the chariots… that’s not to mention St Aleksei Kabalyuk or Blessed Gavriil Kostelnik (nasty little rascal, ain’t I?). The Uniates don’t venerate the three Righteous mentioned, ergo, when they talk of an invisible “Eastern Church” of both Orthodox and Uniates (isn’t that whole idea SO Protestant in its vague and unspecified vacuity?), they lie. They want us to accept papal supremacy as they do. That’s why Orthodox can’t have anything to do officially with such sorts. They want to tear out our heart and soul and replace it with a foreign and alien spirit. Look at them dispassionately… don’t hate them, but don’t encourage them either. Don’t EVER be nasty personally to ANY Uniate… then, the devil wins. Don’t encourage them either by agreeing with their blather in any way, shape, or form… the devil wins in that case, too.

Remember… the loudest voices aren’t always true… they might just have access to a microphone given by an interested party… think on that.

15 February 2012. Today’s Events in Syria… from a Russian Perspective

These are poorly-trained and badly-disciplined jihadists from the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (they’re responsible for the majority of the civilian deaths in the current “troubles”)… their publicly-stated goal is to expel all Christians and murder all Alawis in Syria. If you support the so-called “Syrian National Council“, THIS is what you support. Ask yourself, “Why does the USA always support violent Islamists throughout the world?” Yes, why does it support such, I’d like to know…

On Wednesday, the official SANA news agency reported that a decree issued by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad mandated that Syria would hold a referendum on a new constitution on 26 February. The news agency stated that the draft constitution is designed to guarantee “the dignity of Syrian citizens and secure their basic rights” and aims to “turn Syria into an exemplar in terms of public freedoms and political plurality”. Syrian state television reported that the draft constitution didn’t stipulate the holding of early presidential elections. Assad’s second term in office is due to end in 2014. Under the draft, “the current president will be able to put forward his candidacy [for the elections] again”.

Reports quoted Assad as saying that the new constitution would help Syria “achieve our aspirations in terms of developing our country and to bring in a bright future for coming generations”. On Sunday, the committee in charge of drafting the legislation submitted it to Assad, adding that they would send the document to the People’s Council of Syria before the vote. Assad set up a committee to draft a new constitution in October, some seven months into a popular uprising against his family’s 40-year authoritarian rule. Initially, the vote was to take place in March. In July, Syria passed a law allowing for a multi-party political system. The present constitution designates Assad’s Ba’ath Party as “the leading element of the state and society”.

On Wednesday, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow might support a projected UN Security Council resolution stipulating the deployment of peacekeepers to Syria, but only under certain conditions. At joint a press conference with his Dutch counterpart Uriël Rosenthal, in discussing the new projected UN resolution, Lavrov said, “If the question’s about stopping the gunfire, everything’s possible”.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID) dismissed allegations made in the Western media that Syrian government forces used chemical weapons against protesters under the supervision of Russian specialists as “dirty lies”. A statement on the MID official website said, “Reports about the Syrian Army allegedly using neuro-paralytic agents during clashes in the city of Homs, allegedly under the supervision of specialists from Russia, has drawn Moscow’s attention. We categorically deny such allegations. They’re yet more proof of a propaganda and information war unfolding over the Syrian question, whose instigators scruple at nothing to make libellous anti-Russian statements. Somebody appears to be unable to avoid the temptation to respond with dirty lies to our principled line on the Syrian issue. Someone’s probably alarmed by Russia’s firmness, whose aim is to overcome the internal crisis in Syria within international legal norms, by using peaceful political and diplomatic means, and through an inclusive national dialogue between Syrians, excluding foreign intervention”. In its statement, the MID said that Russia’s firmly committed to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) that bans such weapons and requires their destruction.

On Wednesday, after a meeting with his Austrian counterpart Michael Spindelegger, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that demands for régime change in Syria are a direct road to an increase the number of human lives lost. He said, “It’s possible to agree on anything, the most important thing is to sit down at the table for talks, which some opposition [leaders] in Syria refuse to do because they’re talked out of doing so by some external players. We need to call everyone who’s shooting right now in Syria to sit down at the table for talks”. Lavrov believed that setting preliminary conditions to talks in order to force régime change in Syria is nothing but a path to a full-blown civil war. The USA and other Western countries demand that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad step down and hand power over to the opposition.

It should interest one to note that both Foreign Ministers who met with the Old Master are rightwing pro-American bankster lickspittles. The Old Master gave them the back of his hand… as is right. Don’t listen to the Corporate Media propaganda. The REAL reason that the USA wants to bomb Syria is that Syria’s a socialist state, and rightwing forces in the USA want to eradicate all people-based leftist movements with violence, force, and bloodshed. We saw this in Yugoslavia and Serbia… we saw this in Afghanistan (both in the ‘80s and after 9/11)… we saw this in Iraq… we saw this in Libya… now, the banksters want to impose Western-style “financial services” thievery on Syria, too. The West has used the Islamists as its agents. They did so in all the cases mentioned above. ALL OF THEM. Syria is NO exception. That Indian lawyer from South Africa played her fiddle so movingly at the UN today… it was nothing but a reprise of the American lies levelled at Yugoslavia, Serbia, Iraq, the DRA, and Libya. BOO HOO! The rebels in Syria are violent jihadists bent upon the murder of their opponents. Their motto is, “Christians to Beirut and Alawites to the wall”… that is, their goal is to expel the Christian population and murder the Alawis (if not all the Shias in Syria).

Let’s not be coy. Orthodox Christians are under a moral obligation to oppose this warmongering in Syria. If the rightwing gets its way, the Christian population of Syria faces expulsion at best, rapine and mayhem most certainly, and the very real threat of death. The Alawis won’t be so “lucky”… the SNC wants to kill them, full stop. Reflect on this… the konvertsy are rightwing loons who support the American wars of hegemony throughout the world. Paffhausen and Potapov certainly do! The former speaks at their think-tanks and drools his support of the Religious Right… the latter served directly in the subversion of sovereign states through his known and attested links as an official affiliated with the Langley-connected propaganda outlet BBG (he does/did have a US Official Passport).

We can’t have this… as Lincoln put it so well, “A house divided against itself cannot stand”. Truly… we need to get with the programme and support the Mother Church. That means that we have to smash the rightwing cells within us… they’re cancerous and deadly. The Mother Church stands for Social Justice, Social Democracy, and a Fair Distribution of National Wealth. The konvertsy do not. We should offer them a blunt ultimatum… “Accept the Church’s teachings on social justice… they’re what Our Lord Christ taught. His Holiness has called Free Enterprise and Neoliberal Individualism frauds. Accept this or leave. You’ll be happier, in the long term”.

I don’t think that’ll happen. Fasten your seat belts… we’re in for “interesting times”, both in politics and in the Church. God DO help us.

THANKS for this… it gave me a top idea for a post, Why the Church in Alaska Belongs Back Home… NOT in the OCA. Its simple… the Church “culture” there is different… it’s not only more “native”… it’s more “Great Russian”. In any case, Metropolitan Kliment Kapalin’s an Alaska expert, and he’s wanted to lead Alaska FOR YEARS. Kliment went to Alaska many moons ago… I know. It’s time to take out the trash… kick out the HOOMie carpetbaggers and give the Church BACK to the natives… after all, “When the native elders speak, you’d better listen… they DON’T repeat themselves and they’re not gonna shout”. That’s my two cents…

Potapov made a sorry interview on the main ROCOR site… I’m going to be writing on “Orthophonies”… he’s going to be one of them. He actually said:

“During Cheesefare Week, the Russian Embassy lets us use their hall and we hold a high-end event attended by wealthy people. All the revenue goes towards helping the poor”.

That is, “We’ll deign to give you a crumb or two, when it suits us… and you’ll have to kiss our bums and tell us what great Christians we are”. That’s why God sent the Great Persecution from the Reds. It was to burn out such shit. Isn’t that such self-serving and treacly rot?

Tis’ true; I know it is hard for people to hear, but “Great Persecutions” often happen when people forget themselves and what’s important. We have the likes of Mitt Romney saying that he’s “not concerned with the very poor”, and we have Christ saying (from the Aramaic Bible translation, the language He spoke!), “Blessed by the Spirit are the poor, because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven”. Who are we supposed to believe and follow!??!

It’s tiresome. We’re living in the last days of the OCA and the ROCOR as we know them. The OCA’s in WORSE shape than the ROCOR is, and that’s bad. If you had told people ten years ago that George Larin’s daughter would be defending UNIATES… no one would’ve believed you. Everything’s turned upside down… so, take a shot of Bushmills and cross yourself… it’s going to get WORSE before it gets better, I fear.

Some cracker judge in Georgia subpoenaed the President… no lie. How can anyone believe the birther nonsense? It’s surreal; it makes Kafka look normal. The worst lies are those told about the SS Cossacks. Krasnov was a traitor, full stop. He raised his hand against his compatriots… that’s inexcusable. That’s why I fight… the OCA and ROCOR First Families are all rightwing fanatics or in bed with them… we have to get the Church away from them. It won’t be easy and it won’t be pleasant. I confide that we can do it.

The Fathers are CONTRADICTORY… not only does one Father contradict another, sometimes, a Holy Father said one thing one time, and quite the opposite at another! The Patristic Deposit is NOT dogma or doctrine… it’s “theologumenae” (wow… that’s a ten-dollar word if there ever was one)… “theological opinions”… and most nappy-wearing konvertsy don’t have the good sense to understand that. Doctrine and dogma (which is obligatory) is not embodied in the Fathers nor in the canons per se, you find them in the Creed, the doctrinal canons of the Great Ecumenical Councils, and the immemorial practise of the Ecumenical Church. One MUST hold to that… the rest… is up for grabs. Sorry Charlie… the Church is NOT a strait-jacket… Love God and do what you will… reflect on the TRUE meaning of that.

It’s been a crazy day. I never knew that there were so many loons claiming to be “Orthodox” out there. The depth of the hatred of Jewish people is just beyond words. Most of them are konvertsy. Many quote the Fathersor the canons at me… to begin with, I dislike that, but now it’s beginning to become positively anathema to me. The ones who don’t hate Jews… we online (the real day wasn’t so bad…). The nastiest are the “Alfeyev lovers”. Most of ’em are too ignorant to catch the allusions to Denisenko, rather, the fact that I don’t fall down in adoration at his feet offends them. The most snivelling are those who say, “You shouldn’t be involving yourself in church politics”. I notice that these sorts don’t notice that the folks I’m posting about are playing “church politics” to the max (take Vassa Larina, if she weren’t George Larin’s daughter…).

Yeah, the “Orthodox” world can be a strange place; one “convert type” that I run into all of the time are the ones in the Antiochian Archdiocese that hate Arabs! I kid you not… I’ve run into dozens of these individuals; they’re Orthodoxy reflected back in a carnival mirror, at first glance, everything looks okay, but wait a minute… yikes!

Of course, they viscerally hate the Arabs, yet, they must depend on them for “canonicity”, or whatever it is they call their perceived juridical need. You must remember that these are Enlightened WASPs; they’ve mastered the Zen-like art of concentrating their passive-aggressive racial fear and rage with such strength as to put to shame the Atomic Bomb, whilst flawlessly acting the part of the PC police. Make no mistake… when they speak of “American Orthodoxy”, they mean a WASP substitute for Orthodoxy that excludes you and me… and Russians, Greeks, Arabs, etc as well. That also explains why they hate Jews.

What a relief to know that I’m not the only one seeing this hostile takeover of Orthodoxy in the USA. It took me a few years after re-entering the Church to see what was happening, but any and all of my illusions were destroyed many years ago! They try to make a person feel crazy for expressing the very statements you make, and their “crazy-making” can have very real spiritual effects on you if we allow them to get us down. Let’s support one another; we’re going to need it… St James the Just, pray for us!

Columbia’s symptomatic of the basic illness that bedevils contemporary America… the idea that one can “start afresh” from a tabula rasa. Americans have the arrogant idea that they can impose “solutions” on others due to the “Columbias” that they’ve built. There’s a sickening lie at the root of Columbia, and it affects the poorly-grounded. Besides that, Columbia’s SUPERFICIAL. That is, it’s a “nice” place, NOT a GOOD one. It’s a PERFECT illustration for the sterile imbecility of contemporary America. It LOOKS idyllic… but, in C S Lewis‘ phrase, it’s a “man without a chest”… it’s an Orwellian monster. We all have weak points. Mine is that I’m not a healer. It’s simply not in me. You can be starry-eyed, and only see the best in a given person or situation. You’re not quite Panglossian, but you seem to overlook the nasty edge of the world. Again, I’m a fighter, you’re a healer, and that does colour how one looks at the world. In short, I’m more cynical than you are… perhaps, I’ve been hurt more by the “respectable”. Think on that…

That always was the technique…

If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it. If you repeat a lie long enough, it becomes truth. If you repeat a lie many times, people are bound to start believing it.

That’s one part of the equation… the other is from Nineteen Eighty-Four… doublethink:

The keyword here is blackwhite. Like so many Newspeak words, this word has two mutually contradictory meanings. The OCA’s imploding… will the last person to leave the OCA turn out the lights and leave the Bishops and First Families to play with themselves?

Everyone’s going to find their own way out of the mess… in the end, there’s going to be a “rump OCA”… with Fathausen as Metropolitan. They’ll make themselves “bishops” and “mitred archpriests” and prance about in theatrical vestments sewn by their female admirers. Pass me the jug…

Paffhausen knew about Archbishop Seraphim’s problems. He got a letter about three years ago… he didn’t act until the Canadians pressed charges… this is their Waterloo.

He’s secretive to the point of mental illness… nothing about Dickie… nothing about Velencia… there was nothing about Iggy and the missing financial records (Tosi told us, “The records simply don’t exist”). He’s a nutjob oddbod…

He whines about homosexuals whilst accepting one as a deacon at XYZ Cathedral… they’re all craven hypocrites.

Do remember the years he spent with Podmoshensky…

They all deny that… everyone sees it, except for the converts, who won’t see it. Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt…

If they admitted the truth, then, they’d have to do something about it. Remember, the HOOMies are cultists, not Christians… they don’t act like Christians. When the Storheim verdict comes down, the shit will hit the fan righteously, they’ll not be able to lie any more. It’s no longer a question of “if”… the judge offered Seraphim a plea, after all. When the first hole appears, it’ll destroy the whole edifice…

I heard a rumour that Paffhausen’s going to go over to the ROCOR…

Untrue. That’s probably due to X, he’s on the outs as he’s a CIA asset, and that’s been known for years. None of the MP rumours has proven true in the past. It’d surprise me much if it happened. Why the Centre would want the Whale is beyond me. He’s not moderated his pro-Unia stance, nor has he repudiated the poofter Podmoshensky. He’s UNTRUSTWORTHY… he’s got the “knack” to tell people what they want to hear. On top of that, he’s secretive. I truly hope that it’s NOT true. We’re in for a shit-storm here if it is.
