This is a linguistic map of Poland in 1939. As you can see, most of 1939 Poland east of the present border was inhabited by non-Poles. However, the rightwing “think tanks” in DC, which includes the so-called American Enterprise Institute, support the revanchism of the Polish Hard Right. You see, anything that harms Russia is “good” in their eyes. Whether we like it or not, the rightwing apparat in this country is hostile to Russia, hostile to Orthodoxy in its traditional native forms, and hostile to the concept of an Orthosphere distinct from the West. They want to undo the verdict of World War II. They’ve already dismembered Yugoslavia… they’re attempting to drive a permanent wedge between Great and Little Russia… and they’d reconstitute Poland in its overblown 18th century borders.

The above poster does illustrate a reality that the Right wishes to ignore. Most of the Byelorussian and Ukrainian peasants hated their White Polish landlords. There’s been NO agitation amongst the Ukrainian and Byelorussian populations of the region to “return” to Poland. However, rightwing think-tanks such as the AEI advocate such, for that would “weaken Russia”… they truly hate what our civilisation, Faith, and people stand for. They HATE our communitarianism… they insist that we be “rugged individualists”. They hate our focus on the naroda, on the community, and on the collective. In short, they want us to be as mindlessly greedy, effectually godless, and hubristically self-centred as they are. That’s in direct contradiction to what we believe.
NO Orthodox Christian should give the time of day to the AEI and its ilk. Reflect on this… people like Paffhausen are joined at the hip to such radical libertarian anarchists. What does that tell you about their Orthodoxy? What does that tell you about their veracity? Do YOU want to be joined to those whose ideology is an affront to our very Faith? It’s up to you…

The Fourth of July‘s coming to a close… what would I like to see in the coming years? We DO have a choice… do we choose sinful greed or do we choose godly cooperation? If we choose the former by voting for Romney, then, I fear that Senator Sanders will be correct. A new Dark Age, stamping out all vestiges of Social Justice, would swallow us up. We can avert that… vote on 6 November for President Obama… your life DOES depend on it.
