The West scorns Moldova, along with Belarus, calling it “the poorest country in Europe”. The reason for that is that the largest political party there is the Communists, who got 40 percent of the vote in the last election. The West cobbled together a truce between four opposition parties to put its puppet, Vlad Filat, in as Prime Minister. Filat’s Neoliberal (“conservative” in Anglosphere usage) policies are wildly unpopular, so, the Communists have a good chance of returning to power in 2014. Moldova isn’t like Georgia, where one-quarter of the entire GDP is owned by a single oligarch, Bidzina Ivanishvili… I guess that’s what makes one “democratic”… the more one’s economy is under the control of the oligarchs, and the more that its integrated into the West’s “globalisationMoloch, the more one is “democratic”. Moldova and Belarus aren’t “democratic” in that sense of the word… may they remain such. Moldova’s suffered much because of the collapse of the single economic/legal/societal space of the former USSR… that’s one reason why a neo-USSR is going to rise again. It benefited most of its members. However, look for any new Soviet state to avoid the use of “USSR” and for it to abandon anti-religious combat. The former would reflect the fact that the usage of some terminology is unwise and the latter would be a reflection of the fact that most Communists are believers (as most crapitalists aren’t… ponder that).

Moldova is 93 percent Orthodox… making it one of the constituent members of the Orthosphere. Yes… most of the Communists are believers… and most of the leading pro-Western Liberals (“conservatives”) aren’t (don’t forget, when HH condemns “Liberalism”, he’s condemning what the Anglosphere calls “conservatism”). I don’t think that comes as a surprise to the readers of this publication. I think that also holds true in the West as well. The more that one believes in “Free Markets” and the Almighty Dollar, the less that one believes in Almighty God and Cooperation. Don’t let appearances fool you… some of the rankest unbelievers have God’s name constantly on their lips. Remember what He said of them… “I never knew thee. Cast them into the outer darkness, where there is wailing and gnashing of teeth”. Now, that’s a meaty bone to gnaw upon, isn’t it?
