11 January 2013. Newest Blather from Monomuckass… “Who Will Preach To Nineveh”… I Kid You NOT… They DO Need Their Nappies Changed Pronto

00 Patriarch Kirill. 24.11.12

Here’s the sort of stuff that you NEVER see on Monomuckass… here’s HH at the big Dixie Fry this summer at Christ the Saviour in Moscow… note well that the Blunder (Hannes Jacobses’ heart-throb) is missing from this image from ITAR-TASS, but Varsonofy Sudakov and Yuvenaly Poyarkov are in the picture. That is, the Blunder is a bloviating POS with little (if any) real power (Panteleimon Shatov has more OOMPH with HH, believe it or not)… and Yuvenaly and Varsonofy are the true heavy hitters (an MP priest told me, “HH and Varsonofy are so close that you can’t slip a piece of paper between them”). This is the sort of stuff that you see here and what Michalopoulos (a posturing nyekulturny ignoramus) can’t give you… for he doesn’t know it (he doesn’t know much, does he?).

______________________________

A Cabinet member sent me this. Scroll up and read some of the other comments. No, it’s not satirical… these blozos expect to be taken seriously, no joke. Who Will Preach To Nineveh… what arrant nonsense. Firstly, none of these toddlers mentions Fathausen’s over-a-decade-long dalliance with Gleb Podmoshensky (most of it AFTER GP’s deposition from the clergy for nasty doings), nor do they mention El Gordo’s work on GP’s nutty squirrel Russky Palomnik project. I remember seeing ads for that in Platina’s rag in the 90s… GP needed money for it… I’ll bet you any amount that El Gordo’s corporate daddy put up the gelt for it. Nope, no mention of that either. There was no mention of Fathausen’s lies about his stay at Valaam… he was NOT a member of the brotherhood… he was the equivalent of Lyova the Fool at Jordanville… a barely-tolerated guest who had money that the cash-strapped brotherhood needed badly (it was the Nasty Nineties, after all). Nor was there any mention of the fact that Jimmy Boy was made an “abbot” only one year after tonsure. In short, GIGO all around.

I read the Russian press daily. I can assure you that no one, anywhere, is talking about this idiot. NO ONE. NO WHERE. NO HOW. There’s no buzz at the Centre about this. As far as the Centre’s concerned, it would’ve preferred that Herman should’ve stayed on, albeit with restrictions from the Holy Synod. It didn’t care for Jimmy and it’s not enthused over Tikhon. The only two individuals at the Centre who’re pleading Fathausen’s case are the Blunder and Shevkunov. They have ties to the oligarchs, which may hinder them in the present climate. I’ve heard that Vsevolod Chaplin is very lukewarm about it all, as is Mark Golovkov. The deal that I heard that El Gordo got from ROCOR is that they’d take him in as a retired bishop, with no powers, and he’d have to live in a monastery. In short, nothing in the Monomuckass post is true. NONE OF IT. It’s all bullshit, from stem to stern.

My recommendation is that you avoid this site at all costs. Don’t go to it… don’t get involved in their juvenile “discussions”… don’t buy into their crank konvertsy agenda. They’re a bunch of wankers off in the corner engaging in mutual masturbation. Let them be. If you ignore them long enough, they’ll go away. After all, we’re not good enough for them. That’s the way of it in the real world. You can listen to people who obviously have no clue or you can listen to informed and hip people… I read the Orthosphere media, I have contacts in the Orthosphere, and I know the culture and history of the Orthosphere. None of these demented toddlers have any of that. It’s up to you to decide whom to listen to. It’s your choice.

By the way… “Who will preach to Nineveh?” HH will… every Christmas and Easter after services, he’s out visiting sick kids… and he runs the niftiest yolka at the Centre (and sees to it that orphans and poor kids get first nibs). He’s demanded the end of the American blockade against Cuba and he’s on record as stating that the Free Market‘s a fraud from top to bottom (“Who will pay for it all? The poor working man, who’ll be crushed under the weight of all this”). You can have HH or you can have Fathausen. Make mine HH… and I think that I’m NOT alone in thinking that way.

USA Riled by Russian Strategies

00 USA Russia Collage. 11.01.13

______________________________

Nowadays, political strategies and show biz have become so intertwined that it’s hard to tell the former from the latter, and vice versa. For Washington and Moscow… two old-time friends and rivals… the year 2012 ended with the announcement of the arrival of a new period of confrontation, which one observes at the parliamentary level now, but it could grow into something much more serious. Having shaken off the “archival dust” of the Jackson-Vanik Amendment, the USA quickly replaced that obsolete document with the Magnitsky Act. Russia responded with a blacklist of Americans that it’ll deny Russian visas to and imposed a ban on the adoption of Russian children by US citizens. Like in chess, the game between Moscow and Washington is developing on the basis of a logical scenario.

International Grandmaster Aleksei Kuzmin thought, “The methods the two countries resort to aren’t important, after all, as the relations between the two countries were destined to deteriorate anyway. The political duel between the USA and Russia will assume yet more threatening proportions in 2013. Given that the two sides exhausted all their arguments concerning a European missile defence system, Iran, Syria and the evergreen issue of a Middle East settlement, there are practically no chances for striking an easy deal. In chess, a player often confronts difficult choices, where he has to decide whether the oncoming worsening of his position is beneficial. Every grandmaster knows how to provoke their opponent into making a move that could seem dangerous, but yields good fruit in the long run. A provocation that fails to hit its target makes your position weaker”.

International Grandmaster Vladislav Tkachiev noted, “Whatever moves Russia and the USA choose to make, they’re unlikely to grow into a full-fledged conflict. No high-profile moves, like the Magnitsky and Dima Yakovlev Lists, the creation of new missile defence systems, or support of one of the parties to the Syrian conflict, can spoil relations between Russia and the USA. As always, the USA is feigning interest in what Russia has to say, but it does as it pleases. It reserves the right to set its own rules of conduct. Like in a game of chess, Washington controls the key fields of the chessboard while feeling free to decide whether to exchange pieces or launch a direct attack against the king”.

According to Aleksei Kuzmin, “The recently signed Dima Yakovlev Bill and the law that bans corrupt American officials from opening accounts in Russian banks or entering Russia are strategic moves designed to provoke the opponent into taking symmetrical measures, which in turn could strengthen President Putin’s positions on the ‘domestic policy section’ of the chessboard”. On the other hand, Vladislav Tkachiev observed, “All these moves are but red herrings, whilst Moscow consistently pursues its agenda, moving slowly, but surely, towards the ‘main target’. This is what’s bothering Washington”. In general, Russia is against “blacklist wars” or games for raising stakes. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said a few days ago that the only reasonable way of handling international relations is a dialogue. However, a dialogue presupposes two parties.

Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Launches Gun Control Campaign in USA

00 Gabrielle Giffords. 11.01.13

______________________________

On Tuesday, on the second anniversary of the mass shooting in Tucson AZ that left her critically injured and six people dead, former US Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) launched a high-profile campaign against gun violence in America by taking aim at her former colleagues in Congress. Giffords and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, in a USA Today op-ed published Tuesday said, “In response to a horrific series of shootings that has sown terror in our communities, victimised tens of thousands of Americans, and left one of its own bleeding and near death in a Tucson parking lot, Congress has done something quite extraordinary… nothing at all. Special interests purporting to represent gun owners, but really advancing the interests of an ideological fringe, have used big money and influence to cow Congress into submission… as a result, we’re more vulnerable to gun violence”.

With that, the husband-and-wife team announced their new Americans for Responsible Solutions initiative, which aims to raise enough money to balance the influence of the powerful pro-gun lobbying group the National Rifle Association (NRA) and others in the gun industry. The announcement comes just days after Giffords and Kelly had an emotional meeting with family members of those killed in the December shooting massacre that claimed the lives of 20 young children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. They said, “We can’t just hope that the last shooting tragedy will prevent the next. Achieving reforms to reduce gun violence and prevent mass shootings will mean matching gun lobbyists in their reach and resources”.

The couple is pushing for comprehensive background checks for anyone purchasing private firearms, and advocate more effective treatment for those who are mentally ill. Kelly said in an interview with ABC News, “I bought a gun at Wal-Mart recently and I went through a background check. It’s not a difficult thing to do. Why can’t we just do that and make it more difficult for criminals and the mentally ill to get guns?”

The man who shot Giffords was deemed incompetent to stand trial and was sentenced in November to seven life terms plus 140 years in prison without parole. Giffords wrote, “America has seen an astounding 11 mass shootings since a madman used a semiautomatic pistol with an extended ammunition clip to shoot me and kill six others. This country is known for using its determination and ingenuity to solve problems, big and small… but when it comes to protecting our communities from gun violence, we’re not even trying… and for the worst of reasons”.

The new initiative launches as the national debate over gun control heats up with a series of White House meetings this week on how best to curb gun violence in America. The administration invited gun owners, victims’ groups, educators, mental health experts, and video-game industry figures for high-level discussions on possible changes in policy. A task force on gun control led by Vice President Joe Biden is set to submit recommendations to President Barack Obama by the end of the month.

Washington to Surprise Beijing

00 US-China. 09.01.13

______________________________

Resources on the planet are being exhausted, consequently, the fight for them and markets is toughening. International Grandmaster Aleksei Kuzmin predicted that this means that the confrontation between the main players on the world chessboard will significantly escalate, saying, “This year will proceed under the sign of a heated economic duel between the USA and China. In economic diplomacy, the two rivals will stick to a strategy of position warfare accompanied by mutual tactical attacks. China won’t cease to make claims against the American government that is putting Chinese investors to the ‘test of political loyalty’. For its part, the USA will spread rumours concerning the forgery of American products by China and accuse it of infringing its property rights”.

International Grandmaster Vladislav Tkachiev said, “There wouldn’t be a break in the economic war between Washington and Beijing; the USA is losing it. The list of mutual accusations will only grow. However, the volume of trade will increase in all directions too. This shows a sharp growth in Chinese purchasing power, a sign that the Chinese market is growing. However, the situation is quite curious. The strength of the world’s largest economy is based largely on a belief in its financial system, whilst China has long been the world’s main creditor. China’s ascent to the world’s largest economy is inevitable”.

On the other hand, Aleksei Kuzmin noted, “The White House has no intention to change its habits and restrict itself by economic methods. All methods are good in the struggle for influence in the world and resources. Strategic risks linked to the situation in the Middle East pose a greater threat to China than positional attacks by diplomats. A blockade of the Strait of Hormuz might worsen the situation and skyrocket the price of oil. This would deal a heavy blow to China; it needs energy resources desperately”. On the other hand, Vladislav Tkachiev noted, “It’d be naïve to expect Washington to come to terms easily with the loss of its leading position”.

At present, Beijing, as an experienced Grandmaster does, is using the relative stability on the chessboard to strengthen the weak spots in its camp. At the same time, it continues its economic presence in Africa, its largest supplier of oil. What’ll be Washington’s response? The game is getting breath-taking like any game between such strong players.
