The latter is a new title, it isn’t a translation of what Yolkin was trying to convey. Yolkin’s tongue-in-cheek raffishness is completely lost… and one CAN convey it in English. It’s one of Yolkin’s earthy and leering worldly-wise observations… the translator completely trashed it. I hope that they’re GONE… and soon…
British IT wonks have developed an algorithm that allows one to determine the sex, age, and other information about Facebook users who utilise the “like” function with uncanny accurately. That inspired this cartoon from Sergei Yolkin. What you like on Facebook says a lot about you and can even give away your secrets, according to a Cambridge University study published online. In the study, researchers revealed how they were able to guess accurately the gender, personality type, IQ, political views, and the sexual orientation of individuals based on what these 58,000 users of the popular social network decided to “like” on Facebook.
