Trial Targeting Archbishop Jovan, Bishops, Monastics, and Believers of the Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric Ended

00 Police handcuffing Abp Jovan. 06.12

In the Court of First Instance Skopje I, in Skopje, a political show-trial targeting Archbishop Jovan Vraniškovski of Ohrid, Bishop Marko Kimev of Bregalnica, Bishop David Ninov of Stobi, monastics, and believers from the Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric ended. Undoubtedly, this trial is a case of state persecution on religious grounds. Although the Prokuratura has no evidence for the sentence it proposes, it’s obvious, with an already-determined reached political verdict, that the intent is to sentence the unjustly accused defendants, solely on the grounds of their religious affiliation, in order to confiscate the property of the Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric for the benefit of the schismatic MOC (Macedonian Orthodox Church). On the other hand, such a confiscation would complicate the position of the unrecognised MOC in the event of future talks for their return to the fullness of the Church! The court is due to deliver its verdict on 2 July 2013.

Editor’s Note:

This is the latest news available. The junta persecuting the canonical Orthodox is an American puppet. You can’t trust those who want to ally Orthodoxy with American political factions. This is what the US government does in the Orthosphere… both under Democrats and Republicans. The USA is a rogue nation; it’s out of control… it has to stop. We can do our part by raising our voice…
