The “Lake” Co-op is a real estate scandal involving Vladimir Yakunin, the head of Russian Railways, a close friend of Vladimir Putin. It involves a chi-chi upscale dacha settlement for siloviki in Priozersky Raion of Leningrad Oblast. All of the owners are big wigs in the government and business. Of course, Yakunin’s spinning the situation like mad, but some of the mud’s sticking, especially, after Navalny picked up the story.

Yolkin uses one of his patented plays on words in the McCain entry. И это чистая правда.ru can mean, “That’s really in Pravda.ru”, or, “That’s absolutely true”… you pays your money and you takes your pick.

Sergei Yolkin took a fresh look at everything that happened this week: the question over pensions, whether President Putin won a nomination for the Nobel Prize, and whether the US Congress shall agree on a law funding the government.

Dr Onishchenko is the equivalent of the US Surgeon General. Vladimir Klichko and Aleksandr Povetkin had a well-publicised match in Moscow last week, ending in victory for Klichko, although Povetkin showed much spunk and “heart”. Isaev resigned his posts with the United Russia party after it came out that his assistant Aleksandr Poglazov was kicked off an Aeroflot flight for drunken behaviour and Isayev threatened the cabin crew with dismissal and personal harm.

18 October 2013. A Short Excursus into “Cultural Racism”

00 Romney Racist T-shirt

______________________________

We can define Cultural Racism as societal beliefs and customs that promote the assumption that the products of a given culture, including the language and traditions of that culture are superior to those of other cultures. Cultural Racism exists when there is a widespread acceptance of stereotypes of different ethnic or racial groups. For instance, the Republican Party’s demonisation of Barack Obama isn’t so much because he’s a black man, but precisely because he’s a man of mixed racial background. The righties hate him because his mother was a white woman who committed a “race crime” with a black man. That’s far worse than being 100 percent black, for it implies that a white person “betrayed the race”. That is, his mother rejected the myth of WASP supremacy AKA Cultural Racism… and her child must suffer for it.

Cultural Racism is strong… as the above image testifies. Ponder this… Evangelicalism DEEPENS such rot… it doesn’t fight it. I think that such says much about their real level of Christianity. Bite the coin before accepting it… there be plenty of counterfeits circulating out there. There’s no such thing as American Exceptionalism (a polite euphemism for Cultural Racism)… give it and its proponents no quarter. It’s your duty before God and Mankind…
