Address of Pyotr Simonenko (First Secretary of the KPU Central Committee) to KPU Cadres

00f KPU May Day 2012

______________________________

This is one of the most dramatic moments in the history of our country. During the tragic events of the last three months of bloodshed, many people died. The territorial integrity of the Ukraine was under threat, its very existence as a unified, independent, sovereign state was in doubt. These events aren’t simple. Participation of large masses of people reflected deep social discontent and discontent with the rule of Yanukovich and his entourage. They ruled the country ineptly, deceived people, abandoned their campaign promises, and cravenly took off when times got difficult. The impudent corruption of the Yanukovich clan, nicknamed the “Family”, alienated most of his supporters and political base.

However, these mass protests weren’t an expression of class conflict. It was a fierce battle between the two factions of the same class of exploiters, the oligarchic bourgeoisie, of which the more-organised prepared group joined the pro-Western, nationalist, and rightwing radical forces. These forces skilfully used popular discontent to win support, then, they carried out a coup d’état. At the same time, the West openly and flagrantly interfered in the internal affairs of our country. The West supported the actions of rightwing forces, as it wishes to transform the geopolitical situation in a radical way, not only in Europe, but also throughout the world. The West desires not only the demise of the centuries-old economic, cultural, and spiritual ties of the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, but it also wishes to destroy the ties that exist between the other fraternal peoples of the former USSR. They wish to make the Ukraine a protectorate of the USA, EU, NATO, and IMF, to make it into a fleeced stooge of the multinational corporate establishment.

The actions of Yanukovich’s faction fostered the growth of explicitly neo-Nazi forces who’re ideological heirs of the Nazi invaders. This went along with an upsurge in virulent anti-communist hysteria, signified by destroying monuments to Lenin and the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, bandit attacks on KPU premises in Kiev and other cities, psychological and physical terrorism against individual Communists, and demands to ban the KPU. All this indicates that the putschists might resort to all sorts of unlawful actions; they might not only repress KPU functionaries, but also rank-and-file Communists. We must prepare ourselves for this.

Under these circumstances, our main duty is to preserve the structure and cadres of the party… we must show vigilance; we mustn’t succumb to provocations. It’s important to use every opportunity to clarify the nature of this coup, to emphasise that outside forces made it and that it poses danger to ordinary citizens. We must point up that it’ll sharply debilitate the economy, cause skyrocketing unemployment, create arrears in wages and pensions, stimulate a sharp rise in prices and tariffs, and lead to rampant crime, all of which will further impoverish the people. The leadership of the KPU and our faction in the Verkhovnaya Rada of the Ukraine will do everything possible to overcome such difficult conditions, to protect the interests of the working class, to preserve the party’s integrity, and to defend the Ukraine’s integrity. New ordeals face the party… they face all of us.  We must rally our forces and multiply efforts in the struggle for our just cause… for socialism!

A “Meeting of the People’s Will” in the central square of Sevastopol gathered 20,000 people. The city chose Aleksei Chaly, a citizen of the Russian Federation, as mayor. Olga Timofeyeva, the leader of the human rights group “Ravelin”, said, “We want to deliver our administration from submitting to rats; we’re willing to go to the limit”. Before the demonstration, the executive committee of the Sevastopol Gorsoviet was afraid to act; they only decided to hold a referendum on  whether the city should form a special committee. Outraged citizens blockaded the Gorsoviet; they wouldn’t allow the deputies to leave the building.  Mayor Chaly said that his appointment reminded him of how the Red Army promoted generals during the crisis of 1942. He promised to attend to Sevastopol’s troubles in this difficult political time. At the rally, no one flew the “Ukrainian” flag… one saw only Russian tricolours, St Andrew ensigns, communist symbols, and the Belarusian flag. Sevastopol will hold a rally, “Forever with Russia”. Vladimir Yatsuba, Chairman of the Sevastopol Municipal Administration (GGA), initially didn’t want to make a public statement. However, he relented, and tried to appeal to Sevastopol citizens. He urged people to stay calm, not to succumb to provocateurs, and to stay united with the Ukraine. The outraged demonstrators shouted down this statement. The meeting voted to refuse to pay taxes to the junta in Kiev and subordinated all security forces to the city authorities.

Editor’s Note:

Neither CNN nor Fox reported this… if you wanted proof that they’re nothing but running dogs for the neoliberal establishment, this is it. BOTH are equally guilty. This proves that the kleptocratic Timoshenko junta in Kiev has no control over the country, but that it has American support. Is this Act One of the Ukraine’s dissolution into a Russian South/East and an American lickspittle client state in the West (the Centre is still up for grabs)? No one knows. However, do note that the pro-Russian faction upholds the real Church; the Uniates and schismatical Orthodox uphold the greedster pro-American lackeys. If you’re Orthodox… you have only one option… support the pro-Russian side and oppose the upstart Kiev junta with all your might. Also, note how the konvertsy loudmouths support the American subversion of the Ukraine… they’re not of us; they’re not bone of our bone, flesh of our flesh, soul of our soul. They’re ignorant loudmouths; we should press them to stand and deliver… otherwise, they’re traitors to the Orthosphere, simply put.

Please, pass this report on to as many people as you can… it’s how you can oppose the American-fomented putsch in the Ukraine.

By the way… both artists of the paintings I used as illustrations were committed men of the left… both are (or were) sincere communists. I’d say that fact should tell you which folks are more worthy of credence. You can stand with leftists, who DO care for their fellow-man, or, with crapitalists, with their “Me First” selfishness (the worst of this lot are the greedy and self-righteousEvangelicals”, with their smarmy pseudo-religious veneer). That’s the only choice on offer… choose well…

New Ukrainian Leader Declares Determination to Cooperate with Russia

00 Yuliya Timoshenko. Her Master's Voice. 23.02.14

____________________________

Aleksandr Turchinov, Chairman of the Rada, who received temporary presidential powers on Sunday, declared his determination to coöperate with Russia in a TV message. He pointed up that relations with Russia should have a basis in equality and good-neighbourliness, on recognising and respecting the Ukraine’s European accession. Turchinov said that the Ukrainian government’s main targets are economic recovery and European integration. He added that the new Ukrainian government has to stop the country from falling down a precipice and stabilise the currency exchange rate. Turchinov also urged to stop the confrontation in the country and stand up to any signs of separatism or violation of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

Editor’s Note:

The oppos aren’t in real power. After all, everyone so far revealed as part of the “new” government is a corrupt stooge of Yuliya Timoshenko (one was a criminal on Interpol‘s wanted list). The oppos are NOT united. They can’t even track down Yanukovich. Besides which, and this is the most important takeaway for you guys, the oppos don’t have control of the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea (ARK), and the Supreme Soviet of the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea (VS ARK) hasn’t rescinded any of its anti-Svoboda rulings, nor is it allowing Ukie nationalist nutters past the Perekop. In short, things aren’t what they seem to be, especially, in the Western media. Don’t be gullible fools (like clueless Wet Willy Romney voters, credulous Washington Times readers, and brain-dead Rush Limbaugh listeners)… what’s coming out is that the oppos aren’t in real control, nor do they have a cohesive policy. Things are still in flux… the above proves it… its GIGO boilerplate with no real meaning to it at all.

What a buncha maroons

Fascism Sweeps the Ukraine

00 Lenin. 23.02.14

______________________________

In commenting on the destruction of the Lenin monument in Dnepropetrovsk during the night of 21-22 February 2014, Oblast First Secretary Sergei Khrapov said, “Repeatedly, we communists stated that so-called ‘peaceful protests’ could only end in deepening social schism and promoting fascism. Today, we witness human sacrifice and burnt buildings in Kiev, and vandalised monuments in the regions. Fascism sweeps the Ukraine, and the belief that such actions can be beneficial isn’t just dangerous naïveté, it’s short-sighted, almost a crime against one’s fellow citizens”. Khrapov also noted that the KPU sent relevant appeals about the vandalism to the Dnepropetrovsk Lenin monument to their People’s Deputy and to the appropriate law enforcement organs.
