3 March 2014. Cockamamie Rumour from Euromaidan Soplyak that Yanukovich is Dead… No Confirmation, but all the Dumb Amerikantsy are Eating it Up

Sergei Yolkin. Yanukovich Leads in the Polls a Month Before the Ukrainian Presidential Election. 2009

______________________________

There’s a rumour being floated by a Euromaidan soplyak that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich is dead. He supposedly got the news from Rostov Oblast (which is in Russia). That’s a crock o’ shit with no backup whatsoever. This means that you can’t trust anything from Ukrainian sources, and that you should view Galician sources as utterly worthless GIGO.  The West is getting its intel from embittered Galician Uniate sources (who, I might mention are by no means a majority of that group)… so, it’s getting a picture that’s more like a oddbod Hieronymus Bosch painting than the reality out there.

Bite the coin… there be counterfeits circulating out there. As I said, don’t attend to ANYTHING from pro-junta Ukrainian sources. Have a care… the day’s dark and the road’s full of holes… take my hand, dear… the worst is yet to come…

00 Yekaterinburg Paralympic Relay 09. 03.03.14

______________________________

On Friday, they lit the torches of the Paralympic Flame relay-race in Yekaterinburg from a stylised forged flower, inside the cup of which flame from blast-furnaces and open-hearth ones of five metallurgical mills in the region were burning. Governor Yevgeni Kuivashev of Sverdlovsk Oblast said that the forthcoming relay-race would be an opportunity once again to introduce Sverdlovsk Oblast to the world, to show off its abundance of its sport, cultural, and spiritual traditions, and show its achievements in fostering a non-barrier environment and creating conditions for a full and active life for all people in the region.

Earlier, Vladimir Vlasov, First Deputy Head of the Oblast Administration, told a news conference that Anton Shipulin, a biathloner, Sochi Olympic medal winner, and Yuliya Skokova, a bronze medallist in speed skating, were going to take part in the relay, saying, “This is yet another occasion to admire the successes of our fellow-countrymen who worthily represented Sverdlovsk Oblast at the main sporting event of the season. At the same time, we expect that our Paralympians, who’re getting ready for the Games in Sochi, would also be able to gladden our hearts with their triumphs. I emphasise that the successes of Olympians and Paralympians are of equal value. However, we also know that the road to success and to sports medals is much harder for handicapped people”.

The overall length of the Yekaterinburg route of the Paralympic Flame relay will be 21 kilometres (13 miles). 100 torchbearers will carry the flame through the streets of the city, including handicapped people, prominent Urals sport personalities, coaches, athletes, and public figures. 230 volunteers will help onlookers and torch-bearers with orientation along the route. The main festive celebration will be at 1905 Square in downtown Yekaterinburg.

Editor’s Note:

Russia gives the same awards to Olympics and Paralympic champions. THE SAME… the same titles… the same monetary awards. They both receive the same treatment from the state and from the Church. That’s a GOOD legacy of the Sov period.

This is unlike crapitalist America. Just you watch… the neocons will try to pull some gnarly shit. The Weekly Standard, the National Review, and the Washington Times will all cry for MEANINGFUL ACTION (that is, to refuse American Paralympians the right to compete under their own national banner). I say… “Let the Paralympians go and compete. You have no right to take that away for perverse and petty political aims”.

I hope that the USA will keep its blood-drenched hands off the Paralympics… however, I don’t have much hope… the Amerikantsy are feral and spoilt…

The “Russian Spring” Spreads… Why is CNN Silent?

00 Dirty Money Breeds Dirty Politics. 09.12

______________________________

On Monday, RF Permanent Representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said at an open meeting of the UN Security Council that the Russian government received an appeal from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich requesting that the RF armed forces restore constitutional order in his country, saying, “The Russian President received an appeal from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich”. He quoted a letter in which Yanukovich stated, “The events on the Maidan and the illegal seizure of power in Kiev put the Ukraine on the threshold of a civil war.  In this connection, I turn to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin with a request to use the armed forces of the Russian Federation to restore the rule of law, peace, law and order, stability and to protect the Ukrainian population”. Churkin read the letter dated 1 March aloud. After that, he showed UN Security Council members a photocopy of the original of Yanukovich’s appeal. Concluding his speech, Churkin said that Russia’s actions in Ukraine were “fully adequate and legitimate“.

Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), the chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said that his committee is preparing legislation to give support to the Ukraine and is consulting with the Obama administration on possible sanctions against individual Russians, and Ukrainians cooperating with them, saying, “Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine is a clear violation of international law and demands a swift and coördinated response from the international community to support the Ukraine and counter Russian efforts to annex Ukrainian territory by force”.

Menendez said that the Senate panel is developing a legislative package, supported by both Democrats and Republicans, to authorise funds to give at least 1 billion USD in loan guarantees to give structural support to Ukraine’s economy. It would also authorise technical assistance for energy reforms and to offer election support, strengthen civil society, fight corruption and help the Ukraine recover stolen assets {are they going to help recover assets stolen by Timoshenko, Turchinov, Porsoshenko, and Avakov, amongst others in the kleptocratic junta? Perspirin’ minds wanna know…: editor}. Menendez said the committee was also consulting with the Obama administration on possible sanctions against people ranging from visa bans and asset freezes to suspending military coöperation and sales, as well as economic sanctions {note well that they don’t want to penalise the racist anti-Semites Tyagnibok and Yarosh… shitbirds of a feather DO flock together: editor}. Menendez said that William Burns, a Deputy US Secretary of State, is due to testify before the Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday; he’s expected to give his assessment of the situation in Ukraine.

The Timoshenko junta is recruiting oligarchs to (mis-) govern the country. One of the promises made by the coup plotters on the Maidan was that they’d fight dubiously acquired capital. Meanwhile, they appointed billionaire Igor Kolomoisky as Governor of Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, who previously faced charges in several criminal cases. They appointed Sergei Taruta, CEO of IUD Corporation as Governor of Donetsk Oblast. “Prime Minister” Yatsenuk understands that without the money and power of these people, it’s impossible for him to control the Ukrainian economy, which is the reason for his friendliness.

Igor Kolomoisky, oligarch number 2 according to Forbes, is the junta’s choice for Governor of Dnepropetrovsk Oblast {the area is in effectual revolt against the junta… this appointment is bootless, now: editor}. He supposedly has a good sense of humour, yet, he managed to “earn” four billion USD. He was studying to become an engineer, but he started showing his “business” skills during perestroĭka. As student friends remember, he was always “inventing and trading something”. Avigdor Eskin, a writer and social activist explained, “He’s a very big businessman, who began his career along with partners from Lvov. One of them is known as Vova Morda, the other one as Pups”. They resold computers, phones, and fax machines brought from Moscow. Later on, they switched to sport shoes and sport uniforms until they switched to petrol. That’s how the “Privat” group grew until it became a financial empire. Amongst other things, they’re involved in oil recycling, media (one of their channels is 1+1), FC Dnepr, and well-known Ukrainian banks. That’s how Kolomoisky came to power in Kiev and, then, in other cities. Starting from 2000, he simply took over the local authorities.

Another of the newly appointed oligarch governors is the new Governor of neighbouring Donetsk Oblast, Sergei Taruta {this area is also in virtual revolt… this appointment is fruitless, as well: editor}. His takes in 2.5 billion USD, which gives him the eighth position in the Ukrainian Forbes. All his life, he’s been involved in the metals industry; he founded Industrial Union of Donbas (IUD) and bought FC Metallurg. He had been cosy with the Orangies; he and Yuliya Timoshenko had (shady) business deals in common. Then, he suddenly dropped from sight. Now, the junta named him a governor… but the people in Donetsk aren’t eager to follow him. During protests in the city centre, people shouted, “Out with Taruta!”

Tatyana Gromova, a Donetsk Oblast Soviet People’s Deputy from the KPU, said, “Firstly, we believe that it’s illegitimate. Secondly, we believe that you can’t combine government and capital, as no good can come out of such a government. Every single person has to work for his own capital”. It’s clear why the Timoshenko junta appoints oligarchs as governors… to put the business élite on their side. The junta sees this as a way to consolidate their power in the end. However, political analysts saw in this an opportunity for revenge by the businessmen concerned. They constantly fought with Viktor Yanukovich, but now they’re the ones in power. Political analyst Konstantin Bondarenko said, “Kolomoisky has excellent relations with Turchinov. Taruta has excellent relations with Turchinov. Now, they’re in a great position to grab new assets”.

Editor’s Note:

China and Russia still recognise Viktor Yanukovich as the legitimate President of the Ukraine. That means that anything in the UN will go nowhere… China and Russia would veto anything in the Security Council, and they’ve always had a General Assembly majority. The American fulminations only nail the Russian-Chinese alliance down more firmly. The Amerikantsy (especially, the neocons and business élite) are famously stupid; they don’t realise that their own klutzy and greedy actions brought the Russians and Chinese together, keep them together, and will keep them together until the USA stops its drive for global hegemony. The Russians can deal with the putschists in the Ukraine knowing that China has their back and that the UN won’t approve any action that they don’t sign off on.

Menendez is Cuban-American… that says it all. He’s fanatically anti-Castro and he voted for the PATRIOT Act and its extension. He’s John Kerry’s handpicked successor as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, so, his ass-kissing of the Timoshenko junta should surprise no one. He’s also close to Jon Corzine, who was a Pooh-Bah for Goldman Sachs, so, that means he has no complaints against the junta’s corruption. He’s definitely on the rightwing of the Democratic Party… he combines acridly neocon foreign policy stances with “liberal” social and domestic stances. Everybody knows that he’s the “boss” of Hudson County (that’s Jersey City and Hoboken for them not in the know), and that says it all, too (Menendez denies it… but they all do, don’t they? You can see why he defends the junta… like does call unto like). Burns was a protégé of Madeleine Albright and a crony of Condoleezza Rice… and Bush the Simple’s ambassador in Moscow. He’s a neocon POS from way back… and one can predict what he’s going to say. He’s one of the major running dogs in the District; he’ll never be a Number One, so, he’s chosen to be the Establishment’s lapdog… they reward him handsomely for such. Not all prostitutes hang out on street corners…

The Timoshenko junta brought the most corrupt oligarchs in the Ukraine to the fore. You see, they were never “anti-corruption”, not one little bit, as they were MORE corrupt than Yanukovich ever was. I think that Viktor Fyodorovich has a bad rap in the media. After all, Turchinov destroyed government records, Avakov is a known criminal, and Timoshenko is the most spectacularly corrupt politician on the post-Soviet space (she makes Yuri Luzhkov look like a beginner). THIS is what Obama, the “humanitarian interventionists”, and the neocons slobber over. In short, the USA endorses a shameless criminal gang intent on raping the Ukraine for their personal profit and skunking the West out of more money for their boodle bags. It makes Obama and all the rest in the West look like lying sacks o’ shit. God preserve the Little Russian people and may Russia resolve the situation and put it right.

Le Figaro reported that Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the head of France’s Left Party (PG), stigmatised the new Ukrainian junta as putschists and accused them of anti-Russia provocations. He thinks that there’s nothing to be surprised about in Russia’s attempts to protect its interests in the Crimea. Mélenchon emphasised the importance of the Black Sea port for Russia, adding that it was only natural that Russians won’t let anyone deceive them. He said that Moscow took “protective measures” against putschist revolutionaries heavily influenced by local neo-Nazis. The Left Party chief opined that “legitimate discontent” of the Ukrainian people was hijacked by people who’re financed by “North-Americans”, including the “most despicable and dangerous” amongst them. He named the so-called “Freedom” (Svoboda) Party as a major force in a mounting anti-Russia campaign. Mélenchon said that “NATO and North-Americans” were using the Ukraine’s “corrupt and evil” junta in their tug-of-war against Russia. He called on Russia not to give in to provocations and said it couldn’t let the alliance to sneak up on it, saying, “The French have nothing to do in this”.

On Monday, a Ukrainian police source said that the driver of a truckload of explosives stopped on the Crimean border and his passenger were both Euromaidan activists. On Sunday night, Crimean druzhinniki patrolling the Ukrainian border stopped a truck carrying about half a ton of trotyl. The source identified the driver and the passenger as “Maksim Shepetailo, born in 1990, and Vasili Pusko, born in 1989”, adding that both were residents of Lvov and took part in the Euromaidan disturbances since December 2013. An investigation is underway to establish the origin and destination of the explosives.

Today, at the 25th session of the UN Human Rights Council, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov said that the new Ukrainian junta intends to take advantage of its victory to infringe upon human rights and people’s basic liberties, pointing up, “The Rada passed bills restricting the rights of linguistic minorities and dismissed Constitutional Court judges and demanded to open criminal cases against them. There are calls to limit or even illegalise the use of the Russian language and ban opposing political parties. It means that the ‘winners’ intend to take advantage of their victory to infringe upon human rights and people’s basic liberties”.

At the Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov said that Russia is against the use of human rights as a pretext for intervention with the purpose of régime change, in Syria or in the Ukraine, noting, “Human rights is too serious an issue to use it in geopolitical games, for forcing your will on others, let alone operations to change régimes. The available experience shows that intervention under the pretext of defending the civilian population, which in reality leads to a régime change, produces the opposite result, and increases the suffering of civilians, depriving them of their right to life, which is a basic human right”.

On Monday, Federation Council International Affairs Committee Chairman Mikhail Margelov told reporters that the statement of seven members of the Group of 8 (G8) on the suspension of their preparations for the Sochi summit demonstrates the unwillingness to discuss the Ukrainian situation in a mutually respectful way, saying, “The declared suspension of preparations for the G8 Sochi summit demonstrates the unwillingness to have a friendly discussion of the situation in the Ukraine”. The history of G8 summits proves that this venue “is the best for settling complicated problems in the global economy and politics”.

He described the reaction of the USA and “its loyal allies” to the Russian stand on the Ukraine as derisory, warning, “Threats of possible isolation of Moscow are being made. However, the contemporary world is complex and multi-polar and many of its problems require Russia’s involvement, so its isolation for the sake of support of the Banderovtsy scum will cost a lot for the international community”. He noted that the symptoms that a coup took place are growing obvious in the Ukraine, “The Rada “is trying to confirm the results of the Banderovtsy victory with laws and appointments although there’s a legitimate living President and the threat of Nazi incursion in the Crimea and the Eastern Ukraine persists. Their slogans are well known and their methods differ little from those of Nigeria’s Boko Haram and other ‘popular’ groups of the sort. If you will, the Banderovtsy are ready to transform EuroMaidan into the ‘all-Ukraine EuroZindan’. The only deterrent is Russia’s agreement to use its armed forces”.

******

Vladimir Volokh, head of the public council at the Federal Migration Service, said that Russia could grant asylum to Viktor Yanukovich, if he applies for it, saying, “As regards the granting of asylum in any form, the first requirement is there must be a written application. There’s definitely no such application yet, so when there is, then, we can give our appraisal”. He went on to say that there’s nothing that could deter Russia from granting asylum to Yanukovich, should he file such an application, noting, “However, I don’t see any problems there because a decision to grant asylum in any form… refugee status, temporary asylum… is well worked out in our country. If we decided on Snowden, and we expressed our (the public council’s) opinions, I don’t see any problem here”.

The Genprokuratura Rossii appealed to the Federal Service for Supervision of Legislature in Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) to demand a firewall against Ukrainian nationalist statements possibly circulating on the internet. Earlier, Roskomnadzor blocked access to 13 communities of Ukrainian nationalist organisations on VK.com online social network. The Genprokuratura said, “These communities advocated activities of Ukrainian nationalist groups and directly provoked Russian people to stage acts of terrorism and take part in unauthorised mass rallies, including in Moscow”. The above mentioned provocative entries were in a single register of banned information with later notification of the administration of the social website. The Genprokuratura explained that after the deletion of the illegal information from the online resource, it removed its corresponding analogues from the single register, saying, “The ban applies to copies of forbidden information and their ‘mirrored’ presentation at any other internet addresses”.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID) described US Secretary of State John Kerry’s threats to Russia in connection with the Ukrainian situation as unacceptable, saying, “We consider the threats against Russia unacceptable, conveyed in a series of public statements by US Secretary of State John Kerry in connection with the latest developments in the Ukraine. Without taking the trouble to sort things out in the complicated processes unfolding in Ukrainian society, and objectively assessing the situation which continues to deteriorate following the usurpation of power in Kiev by radical extremists, the US Secretary of State is using Cold War rhetoric and proposes punishing the Russian Federation, not those who plotted the state coup”.

******

Russia denied a report from the Interfax news agency, citing a source in the Black Sea Fleet, that it issued an ultimatum to Ukrainian armed forces in the Crimea. An official Minoborony spokesman described reports about an ultimatum as “total nonsense”. The Ukrainian junta claimed that it received an ultimatum to surrender early Tuesday or face attack. The spokesman said, “We’re used to daily accusations of using force against our Ukrainian colleagues. Efforts to make us clash won’t work”.

Editor’s Note:

The USA accuses Russia of violating international law. What a joke! The USA attacked Serbia… the USA attacked Iraq… the USA attacked Afghanistan… the USA attacked Libya… the USA wants to harm Russia… who’s the international rogue? Russia should start a well-orchestrated media campaign pointing up the Nazi atrocities of the Euromaidan and the Kiev junta. It should publicise the truth about America… it should DEMAND the closure of the Gitmo Gulag… it should DEMAND the total withdrawal of American occupation forces and “military missions” from Kosovo, Afghanistan, Libya, and Iraq. It should DEMAND that the USA hand over all US government officials (including Supreme Court Justices) who approved “extraordinary rendition” for trial as war criminals. Yes…George W Bush belongs in the dock in The Hague… that’s the logical endpoint of Barack Obama’s logic!

Nothing will happen, though… but don’t be silent. The bastards can’t throw us in prison for speaking up (yet)…
