Explosion at Lugansk Airport… Zvezda TV Crew Released… LNR and DNR Pour Cold Water on Poroshenko’s “Humanitarian Corridors”

00 bomb explosion. 06.09.13

______________________________

A source at the Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR) media centre informed RIA-Novosti that a huge explosion occurred last night near the Lugansk airport. Large numbers of the so-called “National Guard” (sic) are now at the airport. Online video from a surveillance camera, showing a huge explosion at the airport followed by a flash of flame, is on the Internet. The source said, “indeed, there was an explosion, but the Army of the South-East hasn’t conducted any operations near the airport. The ‘National Guard’ (sic) must have caused the explosion”.

Editor:

The “National Guard” (sic) is untrained Uniate Euromaidan trash… ergo, they fired at non-existent enemies, or they mucked with something that they shouldn’t have. In any case, chalk this one down to incompetence on the part of the Galician hillbillies.

On Sunday, opolchenie sources told ITAR-TASS that junta forces resumed massive shelling of Semyonovka near Slavyansk in Novorossiya. Apparently, the junta forces used Grads positioned in Raigorodok. On 7 June, a shell hit the Betonmash plant in Slavyansk, causing fire in a workshop that manufactures paints, varnishes, and lacquers. Two shells also hit the building of the local Institute of High Voltage and a car wash in Artyom Raion. Meanwhile, Slavyansk has a potable water shortage. The source said, “Damaged water pipes aren’t yet been repaired. Only those who stored water in bottles or have their own wells have drinking water, besides which, most neighbourhoods are without electricity. When night falls, the enemy uses illuminating flares”.

******

On Sunday morning, the Slavyansk opolchenie HQ told RIA-Novosti that shooting resumed near Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, “Battles are now under way on the outskirts of Kramatorsk, near the Yasnogorovsky State Farm, as well as on the outskirts of Slavyansk, near the Mashmet”. Junta forces continue to bombard Slavyansk (the centre and Artyom and Vostochny Raions), and the suburbs of Yampil and Semyonovka using mortars and 2S4 Tyulpan 24cm self-propelled mortars. Yesterday, a shell hit the paint shop of the Betonmash plant in Slavyansk, starting a fire, which burned for about three hours before firemen put it out. There are also reports about junta forces using Grads in Nikolaevka, west of Slavyansk. According to Fyodor Berezin, deputy opolchenie commander in Slavyansk, “we have to confirm the intelligence about the use of Grads, but we know that the enemy shelled Slavyansk using Grads a few days ago. The clashes wounded one opolchenie fighter. I’ve talked on the phone with one of the lightly wounded men… he continues to fight. That’s what people are like over here”.

******

A opolchenie source in Slavyansk told ITAR-TASS, “Shells exploded near the central city square, the city central administration building, and the communications centre. There were many people in the city centre at the time… a holiday service just ended at the church located near the square. There were many civilians injured by shell fragments”. Earlier, junta forces shelled Chervony Molochar, Mashchermet, and Semyonovka, but it caused no serious damage. In response, opolchenie attacked junta positions and elements of the “National Guard” (sic) at Karachun Hill.

******

A opolchenie source in Slavyansk told ITAR-TASS, “Four people, including a child, died when enemy forces shelled Slavyansk. Shells hit residential buildings, the Alpha furniture factory, a nearby restaurant, and a communications centre. Many suffered injuries from shell fragments”.

******

Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) Supreme Soviet, said, “The enemy used Grad multiple rocket launchers to shell Slavyansk. We don’t have precise information about the number of casualties, except for one opolchenie fighter wounded. Reportedly, one child died, but so far this information remains unconfirmed”.

******

The Kramatorsk opolchenie HQ told Interfax, “We can hear explosions, as Kramatorsk is being shelled with heavy artillery”. Reports came in during the day about artillery duels in nearby Slavyansk.

******

Andrei Purgin, First Deputy Chairman of the DNR Government, told Interfax “We don’t know exactly what Poroshenko said about a ceasefire. However, we doubt that he’d pull back troops. They used Grads to shell Slavyansk last night and fighting is continuing in Kramatorsk. Exactly what Poroshenko meant by his statement on stopping hostilities is a question you should ask Poroshenko. As for us, we continue mobilisation and opolchenie continue preparations for defending Donetsk”.

Editor:

In line with his past as a gangster, anyone who trusts Poroshenko’s word is a sorry sack o’ shit. He’s already stolen the election… do remember how his thugs used violence and threats to get Tsaryov and Simonenko out of the race. Did you notice how a hospital with 400 patients cast 900 votes for Poroshenko? This is mere wind and verbiage from a man who’s the worst of the worst of a sorry breed (he even makes US Congressmen look honest, and that takes some doing)… an unrepentant Mafioso and a “Ukrainian Oligarch” of the worst possible sort (V F Yanukovich is a saint in comparison)… yet, the USA prances up n’ down in joy. None dare call it madness…

Handcuffed Suspect

Early Monday, Rossiya-24 TV reported that the junta released a Russian Zvezda TV crew kidnapped on 6 June. Later, Zvezda TV confirmed the release on its website, “Our Zvezda crew is free! They turned over the vidicam operator and engineer to Russian authorities at the Nekhoteyevka border-crossing (Belgorod Oblast). The Minoborony is going to airlift them to Moscow by special plane”. Zvezda techs Andrei Sushenkov and Anton Malyshev arrived in the Ukraine to cover the Poroshenko inauguration. However, on the evening of 6 June, after they arrived at a checkpoint in the former Donetsk Oblast, no one could get in touch with them. The head of Zvezda TV, the Human Rights Council, the Journalists Unions of Russia and Moscow, and the European Commission urged the Ukraine to release the Russians. According to a post on the Zvezd website, the TV crew successfully landed in Moscow. SK RF spokesman Vladimir Markin said that the SK RF would open a criminal case on the TV crew’s detention.

Editor:

The SK RF only has jurisdiction in the Russian Federation… what does this tell us about the future of the Ukraine? Not much… but anything is possible. Darlin’ Yuliya is at large… the Euromaidan Uniate trash refuses to disperse… the junta military is melting away via desertion… “Ukrainian” servicemen rally to Russia. In short, the situation’s volatile as all hell… no one, especially not me, knows what’s going to happen… Poroshenko has made many enemies over the years… and some of ‘em are violent sorts. Wait n’ see…

Quoting the DNR media centre, Zvezda TV reported that an empty building near Mariupol airport is on fire, and that junta forces fired on a position near the Vostochny neighbourhood. Meanwhile, the official Mariupol website posted, “There’s automatic gunfire in Levoberezhye and eyewitnesses heard single shots in Ilyichevsky Raion. People in Primorsky Raion also heard shooting”.

On Monday, Interfax reported that the Rostov Oblast OGA* media office stated, “Since the mass exodus of residents from the southeastern Ukraine to Russia began, 2,102 people, including 930 children, received accommodations in 15 municipal raions of the oblast. 7,335 people arrived in the past 24 hours. At the same time, 4,272 Ukrainian citizens left the oblast. Families in Rostov Oblast accommodated 1,070 people, including 431 children, and 57 adults and a child are in temporary tent housing”. Reports over the past week indicated that at least 7,000 Ukrainian citizens cross the Russian-Ukrainian border daily.

On Monday, Vladimir Inogorodskikh, the head of the LNR media centre said that LNR doesn’t trust statements by Poroshenko that military action in southeastern Ukraine should end this week, saying, “The republic administration doesn’t believe such statements. You can’t trust these people. We can’t comment on such statements, now that they’ve almost levelled Slavyansk. We haven’t suspended mobilisation, there’s a war going on here. We didn’t open fire on anyone; we only returned fire. Let him cease fire. He’s president of his country”.

The Zvezda TV crew released from Ukrainian captivity, who returned to Moscow overnight, said, according to the Zvezda TV website  that the junta held them for two days “practically without water in a close stuffy room where the temperature reached 50 degrees (122 degrees Fahrenheit). We were hungry; it was hot, dirty, and painful sometimes… we weren’t tortured, but they did assault us when they questioned us to find out whether we worked for any security services and whether we were spies”. They confirmed the account of a witness, their driver, about the circumstances of their seizure at a checkpoint near Slavyansk. Earlier, the local driver told ITAR-TASS that junta irregulars seized the crew, kept their documents for two hours, and then a military helicopter landed. The junta fighters chained the crew with one pair of handcuffs, put bags over their heads, and forced them to kneel.

ITAR-TASS reported that Stella Khorosheva, spokesman for Slavyansk People’s Mayor Vyacheslav Ponomaryov, said, A few shells exploded in the city centre. The shelling was less intense than the previous day and night”. She commented on media reports that the junta brought chemical weapons to Kramatorsk airport (10 kilometres (@6 miles) from Slavyansk), which is under “National Guard” (sic) occupation, “We heard about chemical weapons long ago. We aren’t surprised at any actions on the part of Kiev”. The DNR media centre didn’t confirm the report of chemical weapons.

Editor:

The “National Guard” (sic) are Uniate banditti in the mould of the UPA criminals of the VOV. The UPA killed Jews, Poles, Roma, Russians, and dissident Ukrainians without abandon, without scruple, and without humanity. The so-called “National Guard” (sic) is their worthy successor. Ergo, using chemical weapons against civilians is no biggie for such brutes. Note well that the Uniate hierarchy has NEVER apologised for the enormities of the UPA… don’t hold your breath waiting for them to condemn the junta’s wickedness. They follow an evil ideology called “Consciousness”, which impels them to kill everyone who won’t fall down and worship their dirty little lies. The Unia’s been crank since its start in 1596… Uniate bishops and clergy are the Vatican’s minions and you forget that at your peril (literally… history shows the Uniate “church” to be tolerant of violence and killing).

Valery Bolotov, head of the LNR, said, “There are casualties in our republic. Near the town of Kremennaya, fascist mercenaries fired at a funeral procession. Currently, we’re trying to find out how many casualties there were. Clearly, one can see that nothing’s sacred for these nonhumans. They don’t care with what and when to shoot civilians. You can’t believe a word coming from the Ukrainian authorities”.

Editor:

Not only are the Uniate hierarchy and clergy silent… so are the rank n’ filers. Their silence betokens assent. Some tell me about “good Uniates”… well, I refuse to believe in such until I see ONE Uniate, IN PUBLIC, OPENLY, and WITHOUT EQUIVOCATION condemn the actions of the illegitimate junta… without trying to smear the patriots for defending themselves against the putschist interlopers! I want to hear, “The coup was wrong, the Euromaidan was wrong, we condemn American interference in our country, and we demand that all of those who attacked civilians in Novorossiya face justice”. That’s NOT going to happen. Be careful… the face of evil is deceptively human… it doesn’t wear horns and hooves…

According to ITAR-TASS, Stella Khorosheva, spokesman for Slavyansk People’s Mayor Vyacheslav Ponomaryov, said that opolchenie destroyed at least one Grad system. She also said, “The most intense bombardment of the city occurs from 09.00 to 13.00, when people are either trying to leave in buses or are being taken out by volunteers. In particular, military-age men and wounded aren’t allowed to leave Slavyansk via Kiev régime checkpoints, but now the enemy allows women and children to leave the combat operations zone. They’re destroying the city. They shelled a chemical plant, after which it caught fire, which took some effort to extinguish. We avoided an environmental disaster. They also damaged the building of the Stroymash works. Both enterprises are out of commission”.

Editor:

Since the junta can’t take Slavyansk, it intends to destroy it. THIS is what the US government, the Vatican, and the Uniate hierarchy all slobber over. EVIL…

On Tuesday, Andrei Purgin, the Vice Chairman of the DNR Government, said, “They promised to open humanitarian corridors a long time ago, but regretfully it’s just words. We heard about that decision but we doubt its implementation. Combat operations continue in Slavyansk, and there was gunfire again last night. We still have to transport the wounded along guerrilla trails. People leave the city with great difficulty… they simply don’t allow them to go”. LNR sources were similarly sceptical, LNR spokesman Vladimir Inogorodskikh told Interfax, “The leadership of the republic hasn’t received any requests about the creation of such a corridor. No one negotiated with us about this matter. Now, people are able to leave the LNR unhindered if they want to. That’s why it isn’t clear what corridor they’re talking about. I’d like to repeat once again that any negotiations with the Kiev government could begin only after they withdraw all troops from the territory of our republic”.

******

Southeast Front” spokesman Konstantin Knirik told Interfax, “The adversary’s striking Rubezhnoye. Our opolchenie are responding to the assault. A battle is underway in the village now. The enemy shelled Severodonetsk at around 02.30 MSK. Shelling targeting hidden opolchenie positions continued for several hours”.

******

On Tuesday, DNR opolchenie commander Igor Strelkov stated, “we destroyed a roadblock obstructing communication between Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. DNR opolchenie spetsnaz supported by mine-clearing engineer vehicles carried out the operation. Snipers eliminated seven enemy troops, the mine-clearing vehicles trapped at least 14 in the trenches, and we wounded another 30-35”.

******

On Tuesday, a opolchenie source told ITAR-TASS People’s Mayor of Slavyansk Vyacheslav Ponomaryov was dismissed from his post and arrested. Meanwhile, Denis Pushilin head of the Presidium of the DNR Supreme Soviet, commented that he could neither confirm nor dismiss these reports. According to DNR government sources, the DNR leadership hadn’t made such a decision, and “since communication with Slavyansk is poor, the reports about the arrest may be a provocation”.
