MP Concerned About the Imminent Appearance of Female Bishops in the Church of England

An official statement of the MP Synodal Department for External Church Relations (OVTsS) noted “with dismay and disappointment” the decision of the Church of England introduce female bishops, as this, according to the Orthodox side, complicates the relationship between the churches and makes it impossible for Orthodox to recognise any apostolic succession in Anglicanism. It said, “When the Church of England allowed female priests in 1992, it dealt a blow to the interaction between our Churches, and the introduction of a female episcopate would exclude even a theoretical possibility of Orthodoxy recognising apostolic succession in the Anglican hierarchy”. The statement noted that, in the 19th century, Anglicans… members of the Association of Eastern Churches… sought “mutual recognition” of the hierarchy of the Orthodox and Anglican churches, believing that “both churches preserved the apostolic succession and the true faith in the Saviour, and should accept each other in full communion in prayer and the sacraments”.

Christian tradition always viewed the bishops as direct spiritual descendants of the Apostles, from whom they received a special grace to lead the people of God and a special responsibility… to guard the purity of faith, to be a symbol and guarantor of church unity. The Russian Orthodox Church believes that ordaining women to the episcopal dignity is contrary to the image of the Saviour, the action of the Holy Apostles, the practise of the ancient church, and violates centuries-old tradition. In the words of the OVTsS document, “In a very essential way, it makes it difficult for Orthodox Christians engage in dialogue with Anglicans, a dialogue that’s developed over decades, and contributes to further deepening divisions in the Christian world as a whole”. The General Synod of the Church of England decided to allow the ordination of women as bishops on 14 July 2014. After the introduction of female priests in the early 1990s, about a third of the clergy of the Church of England are women. Women already hold the episcopal ministry amongst Anglicans in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, and Wales.

Beware “smilers”… they’re the worst of the lot, I’ve found out. Anglicans, all too often, are “nice”… that means that one should take care around them (that’s what my Anglican friends tell me, any road). WIth this action, the C of E lost all pretence of apostolicity. That doesn’t mean that it’s full of ogres or that we should fulminate against them like toddlers such as Freddie M-G and Dreher… no…  but it does mean that the C of E left apostolicity behind, and that’ll affect future relations. That’s sad… but true…

Today, Slavyansk is a battered shell… only some 20 percent of its population remains. The rest? Dead or fled… or killed by the Uniate swine (especially, the so-called “National Guard”, who’re nothing but untrained and undisciplined Euromaidan terrorists in uniform). The first thing that the Uniates did upon entering Slavyansk was to unleash a Reign of Terror on communists and Orthodox believers (they particularly hunted down UOC/MP clergy). If you support the Uniate junta in any way, that’s what you support, and you’re my enemy. I don’t hate you… I don’t dwell on it… but you’re an enemy, and I must treat you accordingly. Such enemies are Victor Potapov, who refuses to break ties with the CIA… Lyonyo Kishkovsky, who refuses to break ties with the CFR… JP, who refuses to break ties with the rightwing neocon warmongers on K Street… Michael Dahulich, who’s a closet supporter of the EP (he sneakily tries to influence young priests to follow foreign Greek, rather than our good old-school Russian, customs) and a Uniate lover. DO NOT HATE THEM… but do oppose them, for they oppose the good of Christ’s Church. It’s time for all decent Orthodox to stand tall for Russia and the People’s Republics… to stand tall with HH in opposing the Free Market hydra and in support of Orthodox Socialism… those who refuse to do so are enemies… full stop. DO NOT HATE THEM… but Christians have no obligation to roll over and “play dead”, either.

You needn’t be “Lion Chow”… after all, there were canny Bishops like Mensurius of Carthage who weathered the storm… so should we…

Opolchenie Say Junta Troops Prepare Assault on Donetsk

To have a proper basis for understanding the news, you must understand that the junta is illegitimate… it seized power in a putsch, then, it ran the most crooked election this side of Cook and Hudson Counties. Why, 900 votes came out of a hospital with only 400 patients! Even Dick Daley wasn’t so brazen! The junta is a lying organisation; they don’t know what the truth is… shitbirds of a feather flock together. The two biggest supporters of the junta are F A Denisenko and S Yu Shevchuk, leaders of two apostate religious bodies. Denisenko is under an anathema, and the Uniates left Christ’s Church in 1596 (they’ve been crank ever since). They’ve supported every lie of the junta; they’ve supported its rapacious and cruel policies towards the poorest “Ukrainians”. Finally, the junta is violent and brutal… Uniate thugs roam the streets, Uniate “commanders” fire Grads indiscriminately at civilian neighbourhoods, Uniate terrorists killed hundreds in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, Uniate pigs murdered Orthodox priests… the list goes on. The junta has the goddamn gall to label the People’s Republics “terrorists”, when it glorifies the OUN swine.

There never was a ceasefire… nor is there a need for one. The crash site is in Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) hands, and the DNR will allow international experts in to investigate. However, it won’t allow Uniate filth in… that’s wise and prudent. I can state from my own dealings with Uniates that the innocent majority (at best) is silent about the violent minority’s doings… have a care, have no more dealings with Uniates than you must… do be prudent. Note well that rank n’ file Uniates refuse to condemn the junta’s violence, its lies, and its nastiness towards the poorest segment of society. Do oppose their deceits and treachery… but don’t hate… then, Satan wins.

A opolchenie source in the DNR, quoting commander I I Strelkov, stated that junta forces massed on its western borders. The day before, despite much talk about a “humanitarian truce” to investigate the crash of a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, intense fighting continued south of Donetsk. Besides which, the opolchenie continued to shell Donetsk Airport, where a group a junta forces remains surrounded. Our source said, ”We fired at the airport with mortars… there were powerful explosions”. He pointed up that the opolchenie fired at junta tanks and four Grads on the outskirts of Donetsk, particularly in Peski, Tonenkoe, and Andreyevka near the airport, “There are civilian casualties, but we don’t know how many. Rescue operations in the area are hampered by the present combat”. After the enemy’s advance elements breached anti-tank barriers, the opolchenie reported that two groups of four tanks each occupied Tonenkoe and Severny (northwest of the airport). Our source noted, “Perhaps, they expect to raise the siege at the airport”. In response, a opolchenie spetsnaz group attacked enemy positions near Ostroe, near Kurakhovo, destroying one junta APC.

Fighting continued south of Donetsk, in the so-called “southern cauldron”… here, in the area between Marinovka and Snezhne in the DNR and Dyakovo and Zelenopole in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR), the opolchenie encircled enemy forces. Now, opolchenie artillery continues to fire on these surrounded forces, whilst junta forces outside try to break in to relieve them. Near Marinovka, the opolchenie lost three killed. Our source said, “Our artillery shelled the area near Kozhevnya, where several hundred junta troops from the 79 Airmobile Brigade concentrated, trying to get out of the ‘bag’. The enemy continues to concentrate artillery and armoured units near Grigorovka and Yelenovka (west of the “cauldron”). Probably, they plan to start an attack tomorrow. Their objective would be to expand the corridor to their forces near Dyakovo and Zelenopole. Besides this, large regular forces and ‘National Guard’ (sic) are concentrated south of Donetsk… in the area near the village of Luganskoe. It appears as though they’re gathering for an assault on Donetsk”.
