In Russian political discourse, “liberal” means “libertarian” or “laissez-faire”… it doesn’t mean “liberal” in the Anglosphere sense. Indeed, it means what the Anglosphere calls “conservative”… small government, little (if any) government regulation, and unrestrained crapitalism. For instance, there are NO true conservatives in the USA, for conservatism REQUIRES legitimacy, and that went by the boards in America in 1776. All political discourse in the USA is liberalism of one sort or another. There is no conservatism… there is no socialism. Because of this, Russian political terminology leads many astray. Leftists in Russia are mostly “social conservatives”, with the commies being the most “conservative” of the lot. Therefore, many American “conservative” chowderheads misread Russian political writing… they think that Russians are agreeing with them, when they’re not. I could name names… but everybody knows the usual gang of suspects.
Let’s get it straight… the socially healthy people in Russia are the commies (most of ‘em are believers today). Hell, HH was a true Soviet patriot… yes, he had a KGB codename… but only because he talked with the intel side of the house, he had nothing to do with the “secret police”. The disgusting income disparity in the West sickened him, so, he was willing to help the KGB in whatever way he could. Reflect on this… the KGB didn’t run secret torture prisons in third countries… but the USA did and the SCOTUS gave it a free ride. Imagine that…

Recently, the “fifth column” that lurks in most Russian media launched a campaign, “We’re ashamed to be Russian; we should repent for being Russian”. Apparently, this campaign aims to demoralise us, to dissolve our Soviet and Russian civilisation; in real terms, it’s a war against Russia. All this is very reminiscent of similar psycho-informational operations carried out by the West in an attempt to cause the collapse of the USSR. A good illustration of this kind of propaganda is the following fact… the well-known liberal poet Leah Akhedzhakova read a poem live on Ekho Moskvy radio by a certain “Orlusha” that ended with the words… “I’m guilty, because I’m Russian” (here). Valdis Pelsh replied well on the topic of “Russianness”… “I think that those who wrote, ‘I’m ashamed that I’m Russian’ shouldn’t be ashamed, for they’re not really Russians” (here). Pelsh is quite right, the Russian people (regardless of their biological origin) will never be ashamed of their Russianness, and, conversely, the enemies of Russia and the Russian people have directed and applied all their forces to keep our homeland from rising from the ashes.
Russia is the only place where everyone, regardless of nationality, considers himself Russian. We should remember Stalin’s words… “I’m Russian, of Georgian nationality”. The Russian World, the Russian Accord… it’s a world for everybody living within it. The Russian world gave mankind the great Soviet civilisation. Therefore, global imperialism is making a tremendous effort to destroy our world, applying all means, including psycho-informational sabotage. The West is using all possible sorts of “soft power” to impose feelings of guilt in Russians about their culture, about their country, and even about their blood. The liberals are seeking to prevent Russian people from defeating these forgeries and frauds, to impose on them malignant feelings of guilt for imaginary sins… the chief of which are the very existence of the Russian and Soviet civilisation, the actual loss of our homeland in 1991 and our self-abandonment. We must break free from such imposed helplessness. However, the MH17 provocation, ginned up by the Ukrainian junta, in the midst of intensive air operations carried out by Ukrainian Air Force fighters… this is beyond the usual standards of good and evil. In fact, today, the Ukrainian Nazis, who tried to exterminate Russian feelings in Novorossiya over the last 23 years in a creeping genocide, indeed, a veritable physical destruction, demand that Russians there admit to being terrorists, and repent of their Russianness.
It’s hard to come up with more ludicrous baloney… if only because the Americans shot down an Iranian airliner in 1988 and didn’t even apologise, as well as the Euromaidantsy, who don’t want to remember that Ukrainians shot down a Russian airliner during a training exercise in 2001. Nobody says that Americans and Ukrainians have to be ashamed of who they are because of these events. Meanwhile, Kiev, the same as in Hitler’s Germany in 1933, banned the defender of Russianness… the KPU… the foundation of the Soviet project in the Ukraine. The logic is clear… from the first, “Russian” and “Soviet” were an integral whole in the Slavic world. Thus, the psycho-informational war is now on a new level, and the future of Russia, indeed, of the entire planet Earth, depends on its outcome. Under these circumstances, in my opinion, we should actively and boldly say, “I’m Russian! I’m a patriot!” “I’m proud that I’m Russian; I’m proud that I’m Red!” “In Kiev, there are Banderovtsy; in Moscow, there are liberals!” “Russian civilisation is Red civilisation!” “I’m NOT ashamed that I’m Russian!” “I’m not ashamed that I’m Russian; I’m affronted when they throw our compatriots to the dogs!” “Liberals should be ashamed of the actions of the Banderovtsy!” “You should be ashamed of doing this!”
We must awaken a healthy Great Russian national pride because the mass murder of our compatriots in Novorossiya is a massive emotional reality; Russians have a strong sense of guilt for their inaction. That feeling could become unconscious (according to the laws of psychology, unbearable guilt often buries itself in the unconscious, resulting in suicide or mass destruction), which would lead us to an imposed helplessness as a mechanism to protect ourselves against malignant pathological guilt, so, we’d use it to justify inaction, including our own. As anyone can see, liberals vigorously use these circumstances; they want to break up Russia, just as the USSR collapsed. Our words and our images are an obstacle to their attempts to disable our Russian World… a truly Red World.

The above image shows Cuban naval cadets visiting Kazansky church in Havana. Fidel Castro Ruz is a friend of the Church… he allocated state funds for its construction (as he did for the Greek Orthodox church, too). Don’t listen to the Republican partisans amongst us… the Church is PRO-CUBA all the way. HH DEMANDS the end of the American embargo and he thinks that the Cuban healthcare system rocks. HH HATES the “Free Enterprise” system and he thinks that Socialism is the way to go. Here’s the delicious part… righties like Whiteford have to pretend to like HH’s policies, as they’re under him. One of my Cabinet members told me that was the most uproariously funny irony… that teabaggers have to publicly support a First Hierarch who opposes and hates the teabag agenda.
One last thing… the parish website calls Cuba “the Island of Freedom”… I do daresay that means that the Church doesn’t approve of the American demonisation of Cuba. Besides that, the rector served Pannikhida at the International Soldier’s Monument… my, my, my… what shall we do for Dreher, Webster, Paffso, et al? Their little fantasy doesn’t even go bump in the night. However, do keep this in mind… these semi-fascists have to smile and say that they support HH… or they’re uncanonical. There IS a God… and His Justice is VERY fitting, indeed!
