The junta forces continued their chaotic retreat, becoming easy targets for the Novorossiyan forces. DNR troops destroyed about 20 tanks and armoured vehicles. In addition, they shot down four junta Su-25s, but the junta claimed that they only shot down one, alleging that they rescued the pilot. In the south, DNR troops drew closer to strategically important Mariupol. They haven’t yet started the main assault, but scouting and raiding parties are reconnoitring the area. In Donetsk, locals continue to take shelter from the regular bombardment. At this time, the fascists shelled the railway station and the adjacent area. One of the shells fell near a trolleybus, by good fortune, no one died.

The Galician Uniate scumbags continue to shell Donetsk and Lugansk… their forces are mostly surrounded, but they don’t use their firepower to rescue their troops, they choose to use it to smash helpless civilians. It’s all that I can do to keep from hating all Galician Uniates for such inhumane war crimes and such a hateful philosophy. Actions like that are unconscionable; they’re barbaric and brutal. I gotta walk away from this one…

On Friday, a new wave of protests against the junta mobilisation began in Novoselitsa Raion in Chernovtsy Oblast. Residents of Forosna, Shcherbinka, and Stalnovtsy didn’t block the roads, but they did collect the draft lists from the Selsoviet and returned them to the recruiting commission. Local women protested that the authorities sent their kids and men to the war zone in the Donbass, whilst professional soldiers and cops stayed in the rear. They expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the list named parents of large families, the sick, and so on. The protesters also sent a protest to the President of the Ukraine and the Ukrainian Minister of Defence.
