With “friends” like these, does the USA need enemies? Just like 2008, the Ukraine is a “bridge too far” for the USA. It DOESN’T have overwhelming conventional force, it DOESN’T encircle Russia with bases, nor is it a “City Set Upon a Hill”. The USA is simply just another country, fulla sinful-ginfuls like everyone is. It lacks the military power and economic means to affect the situation… just like Hungary in 1956 and Czechoslovakia in 1968. The USA doesn’t have the money or the moxie to do anything but fulminate… and that would be true of the Republicans, too.
The USA couldn’t help Georgia… it can’t help the junta in the Ukraine… and Putin knows it. Thank God, he’s a statesman and not a stinking pol like Obama, Cruz, Chilly Hilly, or McCain is. No Russian division will set foot in the Ukraine… it won’t have to. The peoples of the former Ukraine will throw out the junta Uniate fascists by themselves, thank you very much. When they throw the blue and yellow rag down to the pavement, the flag of the Union of People’s Republics will fly… and they’ll join the TS EvrAsES.
Дойдём до Киева!
It can’t happen soon enough…

On Sunday, at about 15.00, agitated local farmers held a rally in Kherson at the OGA* building to express indignation at the junta’s agricultural policy. The gathering was peaceful, with its main slogans being:
The farmers coördinated the meeting with the mayor of Kherson and the local branch of the MVDU, which promised to protect the protesters and preserve public order. However, only minutes after the start of the meeting at the OGA building, armed gunmen showed up and brutally beat up the farmers. That’s the kind of democracy and European values regnant in the Ukraine after the victory of the fascist junta in February 2014. If you don’t see fascism in the Ukraine after this… then, look in the mirror.

THIS is what the Republican Party supports with its recent proposed Russophobic legislation (“Russian Aggression Prevention Act“). After all, it’s what it wants to do here. THIS is “American Democracy”… that is, the “Crapitalist Golden Rule”… “Let them with the gold rule”. I seem to find that evil… I’m NOT alone in thinking so.
