McCarthy and his ilk accused many American patriots who worked hard to secure victory in World War II of being traitors… most of them ended up on the “blacklist”… the American version of the Gulag. How could someone who was a patriot in 1944 be a traitor in 1948? Harry Truman didn’t defend many of these people… he threw them to the dogs as he considered them “expendable” (he was a machine pol back in Missouri, don’t forget). Many people had their lives ruined due to Truman’s cravenness. One of the brightest pages in American History had its lustre diminished by the dark era that followed. I’d say to follow the idealism and coöperation of the war years, not the selfishness and greed of the postwar Republicans. Sad, ain’t it?
Remember those who came before us and never forget what they endured to smash Hitler and his evil. Don’t support the heirs of the Nazis today. Support the free people of Novorossiya… it’s your duty before God and man…
Nothing is forgotten… No one is forgotten!
They all had faces… They all had names…
They cleansed the earth of a horrid evil…
THANK YOU!
