Russian Greek Community Agreed to Help Greek Compatriots in the DNR Affected by Junta Terror Shelling

Today, Ivan Mikhailov, the head of Starobeshevo Raion in the DNR, told our correspondent, “Today, Greek community activists the Russian Federation announced that they’d aid 51 residents of the Greek village Styla, sending them on a two-month holiday. The Greek side will cover all the costs associated with accommodation and meals. Now, they’re drawing up the necessary documents for travel to Greece”. Mikhailov said that heavy junta shelling affected five Greek villages in his raion, noting, “People are tired, mentally and physically. They need a break. The fact that the Greek villages are near the demarcation line makes restoring them extremely difficult. We hope that implementing the Minsk agreements will change the situation and we can start to build a peaceful life in the region, including in the Greek settlements”.

DNR Big sez Junta’s Disinformation about DNR Leadership Demonstrate Its Military and Diplomatic Impotence

Today, Maksim Leshchenko, the Head of Administration for the Chairman of the DNR Government, the junta deliberately spreads disinformation through its lapdog media, demonstrating their military and diplomatic powerlessness, saying, “The Ukrainian side regularly issues made-up disinformation about statements allegedly made by our leaders. In particular, they spread ridiculous rumours of internal tensions within the DNR or tensions between the DNR and Russia. They do it all in a clumsy and unconvincing way, but third-rate ‘patriotic’ media outlets regularly circulate such stuff. Apparently, this is the only chance that Kiev sees to undermine the DNR leadership position, since it isn’t possible on either the political or the diplomatic front”. At present, Ukrainian webpages and bloggers are spreading a rumour about threats allegedly made by DNR head A V Zakharchenko to Chechen leader R A Kadyrov. The authors of this canard argued that the threat allegedly aired on a Russian TV channel, but offered no video verification.

Why I Hate “Religious Hobbyists” and What They Stand For and Do

Metropolitan Antony Bloom once explained how during one Liturgy he went out to give the homily and said, “Yesterday evening, a woman with her baby came into the church during services. She was wearing pants and no head covering. One of you criticised her. She left. I don’t know who criticised her, but I hereby order them to pray for her and that baby until the end of their days, so that God will save [the woman and her baby]. Because, thanks to one of you, she might never again come to church”. He turned around and left. That was the whole homily.

I put this in as a comment after “liking” it:

I’ve had it with “religious hobbyists” and their obsession with rules, Rules, RULES… Christ wouldn’t have done that, so, neither should I… or you, for that matter. Note well that such people are quick to tell you about “fasts” (and how well they keep them), but aren’t so quick to FEAST when the Church sez so (they hector you about Lent, but how many of them keep Honey Spas or Apple Spas?).

Let’s not be coy… konvertsy “experts” crawl all over the internet telling us how to be Orthodox. The worst are Shake n’ Bake convert priests with no real Orthodox seminary training (the worst of those are the ones with heterodox seminary, but no Orthodox seminary). They incessantly lecture us on the Fathers, Scripture, and the Canons with a specificity and rigour that I’ve never heard from real Orthodox seminary graduates (I mean both here and in the Rodina). I got news for such sorts. The REAL Church is the “Church of a Thousand Chances”… it didn’t shitcan Florensky and Bulgakov, even after they taught heresy bareheaded… it didn’t shitcan Kochetkov and his merry crew of modernist Renovationists in Moscow (it did ignore them, so their heresy has about much impact as a mouse fart during the finale of Beethoven’s Ninth). You have to work HARD to get the boot… yet, these jerks are forever nattering about how this one or that one is “automatically excommunicated”… the canons say so, dontcha know!

Remember, what the Church holds as TRUE non-negotiables are in the Creed. That’s why we repeat it at every liturgy. The rest is commentary on that. Yes, there are certain things that aren’t gonna change… but most of those aren’t enshrined in canonical legislation, believe it or not (the Church only issues canons when something becomes overly controversial). Some canons have even become obsolete (like the one forbidding Christians to eat with Jews, for instance). So be wary whenever someone like Dreher starts fulminating… the Church is NOT “going Episcopal” because an SVS asshat makes a dumbass statement (they’re been doing that since the 50s, and their influence gets LESS with each passing year). I stand with Christ the Carpenter’s Son… who never ever kicked someone out for what they wore or what they were. You can hate me for that. I hold what I hold… ‘nuff said.

The above is my opinion… it’s NOT the “Teaching of the Church”. I ran this up on my own nickel. I simply “liked” Fr Marty’s post… I most certainly didn’t consult with him about it. All youse “loose canons” out there can calm down. Youse been told…

Well, I don’t think that NATO is orchestrating a wave of murders in the Ukraine nor is Langley. It’s something rather more simple… and far more sinister for the people. Civil society and the rule of law have broken down in Banderstan. There’s no law… there’s no order. Fascist thugs roam the streets… people “commit suicide” or are simply gunned down. In fact, the acts are so sloppy that it’s clear that pros aren’t involved. To be blunt, this means that the situation is much worse than if NATO and Langley WERE shooting people in the Ukraine. NO ONE KNOWS WHICH END IS UP IN THE UKRAINE. NO ONE. It’s libertarianism run amuck… it’s why the Church blesses the State and Holy Authority… without it, society quickly deteriorates into a lawless quagmire of private revenge, honour killings, and political lynching.

Libertarianism is nothing but anarchy with a rightwing face. Do want to know what libertarianism actually looks like? Look at the Wild West atmosphere in Banderstan… that’s what libertarianism is. That’s what the Koch Brothers want in the USA… a condition where they could kill their perceived opponents with impunity. Nasty, ain’t it? That’s why “conservatism” is evil… it tends to anarchy, and anarchy is ALWAYS evil.

God do watch over and protect Fr Dmitri… the times are VERY evil… Fr Dmitri shouldn’t share the fate of Blessed Gavriil Kostelnik (and here) or St Maksim Sandovich.
