My take on all rightwingers, both political and religious… I’m not alone, I’ll warrant…

Some people seem not to like what I wrote about Fatso. For those of you who need a reminder, its here and here. In the first, I explicitly stated, “It isn’t official, so, don’t take this at face value until there’s real word from real people. This is from one of Potapov’s claque, so, take it as provisional until the real deal comes out. However, if this is correct, Fats lost out on all counts”. I made it clear that the intel could be faulty… so no one can hit me on that score. I based the second piece on OCA official information and it has a link to that official citation. Ergo, my critics just took out a bazooka and shot their own heads off. Congratulations!

The OCA said so. Crazy ain’t it? It seems that they stepped in it and they blame me. I said that it wasn’t official. Then, I posted the OCA official version.  I don’t think that I should reply. Let the fuckers stew in peace.

Let them stew… ignore them! There’s been very little about this and just about everything is neutral to negative about Paffhausen. Monomuckos has some comments, the usual stuff from the usual suspects; all leaning positive for Paffso. Overall, there’s not been much response to the news. Everyone I know has about the same feeling… “Good, now he’s a problem for someone else”.

Let’s keep it focused… the OCA HAS released Fatso to the ROCOR. My ROCOR contacts tell me that Fats is NOT going to be a ruling bishop… “He’s going to be treated like Soraich”. There’s no joy in Mudville, save in konvertsy circles. Most grounded Russian Orthodox people just want this jabronie out-of-the-way and out of power. I still say that Ilarion Kapral should send him to a monastery away from the District. Don’t forget… Fats was one of Podmo’s more fawning disciples (so was Eliel, BTW). In short… there’s a lot of nothing. Part of me says, “Good… I hope it stays that way”. Pass the jug… it DOES take all kinds…

“International Friendship Youth Movement” Established in the LNR

LNR College students started a new public interest group, the International Friendship Youth Movement. Anastasia Valdamirova, a co-chairman of the new organisation, stated that she filed relevant statutory documents for state registration with the LNR Ministry of Justice (Minyus), “We have applied to the Minyus to register the International Friendship Youth Movement. We have about 70 members… Africans, Azerbaijanis, Uzbeks, Indians, Transnistrians, Belarusians, and, of course, Russians and Ukrainians. The organisation has a board with three co-chairmen with equal rights, of Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Azerbaijani background. It’d be difficult for one person to keep track of and control everything… besides, it’d allow us to make better decisions. I’d head up project implementation, Foud Saidi would carry out our public relations, and Igor Ibik would take care of educational and cultural affairs. We’re modelling our organisation on the example of the Soviet-era International Friendship Club (KID)”.

Despite the fact that it isn’t yet a formally legal entity, its activists are already taking part in the activities of the Luganshchina* Youth Association (AML), the umbrella organisation for most LNR youth groups. Valdamirova noted, “We’re involved in all AML actions and events, but we’re also preparing our own activities in cultural exchange, and we’re developing an ideology of equality, asserting the equality of all peoples, and seeking equity for all, irrespective of their national or racial background. Another challenge confronting our group is the task of helping foreign students adapt and integrate into the LNR outside of classroom hours, but this will be beneficial for everyone concerned. Today, times are hard for everyone in the Republic, but it’s even harder on those who came to us from abroad, there are about 300 of these, they’re completely disoriented and don’t seem to know what’s going on. We have the task to show that we’re just ordinary folks, and try to engage them in our general youth culture. In addition, this is a kind of breakthrough the information blockade… when the students go back home, they’d be able to tell their compatriots about the real situation in Novorossiya, as they saw it themselves”.

  • Luganshchina: “Area ruled by or influenced by Lugansk”. In Russian, the suffix “shchina” indicates “ruled by” or “rule of”, therefore, “Lvovshchina” is the “area ruled (or “influenced”) by Lvov” and “Yezhovshchina” means “era ruled (or “influenced”) by Yezhov”.

Denis Miroshnichenko, Deputy of the DNR Peoples Soviet and head of the AML, added, “Right now, any group that’s for the Republic is good in my book. The fact that we now have an international association in Lugansk can only help us. As we seek recognition for the LNR on the international level, young people have an opportunity to assert their point of view, including through this organisation, so, I find this a welcome move”.

Nearly 1,600 People Classified as “Missing” in Junta-Occupied DNR per Captured Putschist Documents

Handcuffed Suspect

Our sources told us that documents of the so-called putschist “Donetsk Oblast Genprokuratura” indicate that there were 1,592 missing persons in junta-occupied areas.  One document noted, “This year, the number of missing persons in the oblast (sic) continues to grow substantially. As of 1 June 2015, there are already 1,592 people missing”. The text also details the operational and search activities of junta police in the putschist-occupied DNR, “Over the first five months of this year, we confirmed the whereabouts of 208 missing persons. In these cases, our office considers the search closed. With a marked increase in the number of missing, we only found 13 percent of those so classified”. The documents emphasise that the number of missing is increasing significantly in junta-occupied territory, especially in Artyomovsk, Mariupol, Selidovo, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, and Dzerzhinsk, and in Maryinsk Raion. A junta Genprokuratura report stated, “There is a significantly increased number of missing persons in Artyomovsk (115), Selidovo (88), Slavyansk (82), Kramatorsk (69), Dzerzhinsk (61), and Maryinsky Raion (69), and in Oktyabrsky Raion of Mariupol (66)”. The reports also point up that problems remain in finding people, “especially during the active phase of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (sic)” in junta-occupied areas.
