A Dog’s Loyalty

Dog Lyalka was born near the pithead of the mine… for half-a-dozen years she went down in the pit along with the miners. They considered her a member of the work brigade; she was the mascot of the collective. She nosed out what was wrong; she warned of dangers. Her stated job was to catch rats, but she knew all the ins-and-outs of the workings. When she died, the miners buried her on the works property.

DNR Minoborony Reported 31 Junta Ceasefire Violations

Today, the DNR Minoborony reported, “Over the past 24 hours, the enemy committed 31 ceasefire violations, the intensity of the attacks by the Ukrainian side in the past day violated the ceasefire régime. They fired at Donetsk (Kuibyshev Raion, Donetsk airport), Gorlovka (including the Gagarin Mine), Yasinovataya, Spartak, Kalinovka, Lozove, Sanzharovka, Yasnoe, Dokuchaevsk, and Elenovka”.
