People’s Artist* of the USSR V S Lanovoi donated a memorial to four-times Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal G K Zhukov to Lugansk. The dedication of the monument took place today, the 70th anniversary of the first victory parade, in the courtyard of School Nr 36. Filipp Kobtsev and Stanislav Kirillyakin, activists from the Impuls youth organisation came up with the idea to erect this monument, they went to Lanovoi, who heads the board of the project “Alley of Russian Glory”. Kobtsev said, “During the auto-parade ‘Great Victory’, which we took part in as LNR representatives, we asked Lanovoi, in his capacity as head of ‘Alley of Russian Glory’ to establish a monument in Lugansk. After that, we got in touch with LNR Chairman Plotnitsky, and after negotiations and preparatory work, today, we put up a bust of Marshal [Zhukov] in Lugansk. We’d like to note the large contribution made to this by M L Serdyukov {no relation to the more famous Serdyukovs who were Minster of Defence and Governor of St Petersburg: editor}. With support from the Lugansk GMA* and the World of Lugansk NGO, we erected this monument in the courtyard of School nr 36″.

The solemn event brought together public activists from all over Lugansk, city residents (especially, from Zhukov Quarter), high school students, and central and local politicians, including Manolis Pilavov, the Lugansk GMA head. Pilavov said, “Today, it’s symbolic that we come together here in the Zhukov Quarter to dedicate a monument to the Marshal of Victory, G K Zhukov. Troops under his command liberated our motherland. I thank the Impuls group and the ‘Alley of Russian Glory’ for doing everything possible to make possible this ceremony today”. Pilavov presented the library of School nr 36 with three volumes of G K Zhukov’s memoirs.
For his part, Aleksei Karyakin, Chairman of the LNR Peoples Soviet, told the crowd that there were parallels between the events of over 70 years ago and what’s happening now, “Today we stand at the threshold of deterring a fascism that once seemed defeated, but which nevertheless rose again. When Georgi Konstantinovich came to the front, all the soldiers knew… ‘We’re going on the offensive and we’re going to win’. So, I’m sure that with the unveiling of a monument to this wonderful man in our town, why, victory is just around the corner”.

Lanovoi’s involvement in this is IMPORTANT… so important that it merits a post of its own. He’s a patriot who’s always stayed true to his Motherland, to his values and standards, and to communism (he’s always been an upfront KPRF man). A certain loudmouth priest attacked I V Stalin on the ROCOR official website. I’d reply that the Church served Pannikhida by G K Zhukov’s resting place in the Kremlin Wall. I stand with the REAL Church, not the phonies who whore for the American government. As I say, the Lanovoi connection is crucial… when you see the image that I’m going to post, you’ll see it… in an instant.
VVP tossed down the gauntlet to the Anglo toddlers and is making common cause with the commies. Perhaps, that’s why their “Ukrainian” project is going down the shitter!
